Turn the quality up to 1080p for the best experience! Also, in case some of you don’t have access to my community posts, here’s Yan’s backstory: Swap was just like normal Swap in normal UnderSwap. But, he had an unknown corruption inside of him (unknowingly caused from the outburst of energy produced when both Dream and Nightmare touched Dream’s soul at the same time). This corruption caused him to remember the events of all the past runs after a reset, including all the genocide runs. So with his new found knowledge of resets and the genocide runs, he snapped. The corruption corrupted his brain, which made him grow insane and incredibly overprotective of his brother, since he didn’t want to lose Papyrus to the human. Technically, he became a Yandere for Papyrus, BUT NOT IN A LOVE LIKE WAY! IT WAS PLATONIC / BROTHER LOVE SINCE HE DEEPLY CARED ABOUT HIS BROTHER! Deep down, Swap didn’t want to kill/go insane, but when his corrupted side takes over, he can’t control himself. The black stuff on his face is part of his corruption that has permanently stained his face. When he starts losing control and losing his sanity, three things will happen. The red streak in hair will start turning a darker red, more of the black substance will form on his face, and both of his pupils will become red hearts instead of just one of his pupils. There eventually came a day, where his au was attacked by Error, and there was no one there to stop him because Dream and Ink had already turned into their “Fallen” forms. Error destroyed the entire au, including everybody inside the au, except for Swap. During all the chaos, Swap watched his brother die, and was pushed into one of Error’s portals right after, landing in the forest within the space of the multiverse where Ink and Dream’s home is located. He was completely out of control after watching his brother die, so he frantically began wandering around the forest attacking anyone he encountered, trying to find a way to return to his au. This was until Shattered eventually ran into him. When Shattered noticed Swap, Swap noticed him as well, and attacked him. In self defense, Shattered attacked Swap and threw him around, hitting the trees and the ground, which eventually caused Swap to snap back to his normal, not insane self. Swap was just confused, panicked, sorrowful, and completely broken (emotionally) after everything that just happened to him. So Shattered decided to take advantage of the situation and manipulated him. He forming the sense of what he likes to call toxic positivity, making Swap act happy despite the fear he felt towards his own self thanks to the corruption, and the sorrow he felt by knowing his au was gone and his brother was dead. Swap, unaware of Shattered real intentions, believed that Shattered was actually helping him, and followed what Shattered told him. Shattered asked Swap about what was wrong, and after Swap told him, Shattered offered Swap a position on his team. He told Swap that it better than staying outside in the forest, plus it eould allow Swap to always have someone to “help” and “comfort” him. Swap, truly believing all of what Shattered said, agreed and joined the Fallen Stars. When Swap isn’t fully corrupted, he is optimistic, energetic and kind (much like his original personality). This is stage 1. When Swap is at stage 2, he is still a bit under control, but is unpredictable and could snap at any second. When Swap is at stage 3, he isn’t himself anymore. He has lost full control and will either kill or just attack anyone he sees. This includes his own team. Fun Facts About Yandere Corrupted Swap: - He refuses to talk about his past and his personal problems despite how harsh they get, because Shattered has told him that it is better to just forgot and ignore everything bringing him pain. - Most of his original traits remain, including his love for cooking tacos for his friends, his “mwehehe,” laugh, etc. - Since his brother is deceased, his insane side is now normally triggered when he feels very strong emotions. The stronger his emotions, the less control he has over his actions and the more insane he grows. - His brother (Swap Papyrus) didn’t like his insane/yandere side, but he understood that it was due to the corruption. So he always tried to just calm Swap down if he started to lose control, and he would try to help him in any way possible when he wasn’t insane. He was obviously also trying to find a cure for the corruption, but was destroyed along with the rest of the au before he could finish.
