Dear KoBe JAPAN Listeners 🇯🇵
In Japan people say BLUE instead of GREEN for the traffic light(信号機)
I haven't think of why I am saying it until my friend have mentioned me "why are you saying BLUE instead of GREEN?".
LIFE is funny since each person born in different place/culture and something we think it obvious is actually not obvious for people around the world.
This traffic light was actually one of the thing that made me notice that I might be quackery, charlatanism, know-it-all person in front of people from different countries.
Sometimes(たまに) it made me scared I might have been blinded person.
ANYWAY hope this video makes you notice what I've notice :)
良い一日を!(Have a nice day!)

Conejo covetous so today I will share
you a new thing about traffic light gingka near the token society quite document over
kumusta the new home they were single t no yo Oh Toki roto akka oh wow Lu so the blue one oh wow
shit delivery day you can go without looking at the traffic light and Kiro yellow is the one you
have to be careful in the red acha acha red is the one you have to stop and I was not really
caring about this explanation and what happens is that like a story no tomorrow ciga
r Nunda
meatery no single test day go out do not do any saw eternity must stop basically when you see the
traffic light it's green color so green light but once you explain in Japan people say blue light
and I didn't even realize that I'm saying blue light even the light color is green and I was
like stopped like that and I couldn't think of any further information Takuto day the cola nom
de gijón devil at all the Euro middle un testigo single calendar out erikkathyhansen cast a mystic
tig
ht oh my god it's also singleton 800 kilo akka so blue yellow red the youwhen you noir yo sir
can you hold a kid I see this caution I gotta go see this so I think all of you from watching
this video I think you guys are saying green light instead of blue but all Japanese probably
all are saying blue light when we see the light so it's like imagine if the situation is like so
you're sitting beside the driver Imam I'm single not the multi-engine I already got all knocked on
it so you know wha
t I mean so like once you see the light is getting to you people are saying
like I was saying or not there you can go big deal but I think if you are foreigners and you're
on the driver side and people are saying like the traffic light becomes blue so you can go it
doesn't really make sense for you maybe it's kind of funny because for us it's just normal but
for foreigners I think blue and green is really different so now sorry back to the real topic
so why is this happening so basically I
just answer the conclusion first it is just because the
first person who sets the light color set it blue the first person is actually news publishers and
the guy actually said that light is blue instead of green and it's kind of his fault but on the
other side is not only his spot this is a part where I explained very difficult but how explain
in English so basically what's had what happened in Japan is that in old days inside blue there's a
green color inside so imagine there's a circle o
f like the category of blue inside this circle there
was a green inside in the old days in Japan at the time cause what happens is that green colors are
separately from blue and existing are there will be a new color called green so I'll talk literally
blue and green has occur in Japan so I think that guy said it as blue which is kind of correcting
somehow in all days in Japan but it's obviously wrong in recent Japan or the world so I didn't
even realize I was just living normally but have
realized that that is a big difference green
light and blue light so I put I made this video in order to tell all Japanese actually or the
people coming to Japan might notice that people are saying blue in self green it's just because
of this so person the first guy said it's blue so it's now ongoing and we are still saying
that it's blue so I hope you understand why we're saying blue instead of green when we see
the traffic light it is just because the first guy first person who published
a news article said
it's blue and also on the other hand there's also the reason that green color was involved inside
the blue color hence now this green and blue is really obviously diff separated but in old days
it was kind of inside blue the green was kind of inside blue color that causes people to say
blue green oh sorry blue instead of green so I hope you knew something about Japan it is kind
of awkward if you see a new Japanese guy or a girl says blue in self green when they see the
traffic light it is just because it's kind of like a culture in Japan and don't worry that
they're not color branded or something it's just that say it that way but their eyes are
skinned actually thinking that it is great so I hope you like this video please give me like
you learn something new about Japan and also please subscribe our channel in order to catch
up with new things Japan thank you so much honey you you

When I lived in Japan I had an elderly Japanese teacher who was also a bit of a historian. He explained that the usage of words in Japan depends on their origin, and words of Japanese origin like blue can be used as adjectives, eg 'aoi hana' or blue flower. However, there is no Japanese origin word for green, so green cannot be used as an adjective, eg green flower is midori no hana, it has to be used as a noun to describe another noun by use of the connector 'no' (midori being of Chinese origin not Japanese, so cannot be used as an adjective). So isn't the question why there is no Japanese origin word for green such that it has to be used differently grammatically ? It suggests that historically there was no distinction between green and blue in Japan, with the Japanese language only having a word for blue before midori was imported from the Chinese to make the distinction between green and blue.
When I visited Yokohama, I remember the incandescent traffic light which Turquoise. 🔵🟢

Interesting!
Nice 😁😊
素晴らしいビデオ。
隣の芝生は青く見える、青菜とかも厳密にいえば緑ですね。一方、野球では「盗塁してもいい(進んでもいい)」というサインは日本でも「グリーンライト」と言われている。
Finally. 😁💛
