Hi Carly. Lovely video. Thanks for the nursery rhyme which I enjoy and are always interesting.

@muffback3775

HI Carly, this was a fun lesson.

@manabu2068

Thank you, Ms. Carly. I found out the sounds that some animals make. The dog I had never barked at night. By the way, it was sunny with a temperature of 20โ„ƒ today in Osaka, Japan. And I saw a lot of cherry blossoms have started blooming. Spring is coming here. Have a good day!

Hi Carly! Thank you for another fantastic English lesson! I always enjoy watching your videos and learning something new each time. This week's topic on animal sounds was particularly interesting. It's amazing how different languages interpret the noises animals make. I couldn't help but chuckle at some of the sounds and verbs you introduced, especially "twit-twoo" for an owl - so cute! ๐Ÿฆ‰ Your explanations are always clear and engaging, making it easy for learners like me to grasp the concepts. I did pretty well on the quiz, but I definitely learned a few new things too. For instance, I never knew that the verb for a dog's sound was "woof" until now! (in Spanish is โ€œladrarโ€ and the sound "guau") I was also surprised by the sound of the ducks "quack quack" because I know that the ducks in Canada follow your lessons and speak English.๐Ÿฆ†๐Ÿ“– Thanks again for all your hard work in putting together these lessons. Looking forward to the next one! Take care, Manolo

Hi Carly , I m buzzing about this excellent video , I only knew about sounds dogs and cats make , so the rest is all new , and a lot to take in and ruminate on . Some words have similar pronunciation in the Netherlands e.g . English Dutch to bleat = blaten ๐Ÿ‘ to moo = boe ๐Ÿ„ to quack = kwaken ๐Ÿฆ† BTW , I love that Children 's Nursery Rhyme .

@baddrummer9191

Hello, Carly. Thank you very much for the lesson. I've learnt 'twit-twoo' and 'to hoot' as new words. By the way, I couldn't remember what the sound that an owl makes is called in my own language and googled it ๐Ÿ˜‚ So, about the differencies between English verbs and my first language: To bark - totally different To woof - almost the same To buzz - sounds a bit similar To meow - almost totally the same To neigh - absolutely different To bleat - very similar To hoot - quite similar to informal verb To oink - totally different. By the way, pigs can also squeal and grunt besides oinking) To moo - almost the same To quack - a bit similar To cluck - totally different The part two of the video is definitely needed! There're so many sounds of numbers of animals. Thank you if you're still reading ๐Ÿ˜‚

@rezajafarimarandi8120

Hi Carly , again as a before so fabulous training video of yours (so cute vidio) , dear Carly I was wondring if you could guide me how to understand the differences between "in the least " , "at the least" and " at least " ofcourse I know some about but I doubt it , thanks beforehand and hope have a good times aheadโคโคโคโค

@ejlufpedersen742

Funny.๐Ÿ˜‚ Didn't English dogs use to say "bow wow" in the old days. But I know that language evolves ๐Ÿ˜Š Danish dogs say "vov vov" Cats are the same as in English but spelt differently. Pigs say "รธf รธf". Difficult one for foreigners๐Ÿ˜ฎ. But Danish pigs seem to understand it. Horses "vrinsker". Ducks " rap rap" On the other hand, I'm sure that Danish and English animals are able to understand each other without any lessons.

Hi CARLY. HAPPY EASTER TO YOU... ..(better late than never). These sounds (and their onomatopoeias ) are supposed to be similar if not identical to all of us since we have the same(ears ,brains ,throat ,mouths ..etc). I wonder how we -human beings-sound to ..a dog ...an alien?!. Thanks for this video i find it amusing maybe a little bit provoking for my mind .Faouzi.
