(Me, voice over) And so... Here we were. I had a massive headache, once again. But I had promised her that we would do yoga and I
didn't want to let her down? So, I pushed through. (Chazzie) Are you ready to orange?
Are you ready to ORANGE? (Me) You get on the orange one, baby. (Chazzie) And then you get on the purple ones. (Chazzie) I'm jumping around! (Chazzie) Can I do in your shoes, please? (Chazzie) I'm in your shoes! (Chazzie) Look, I'm wearing your shoes! (Chazzie) Here you gooooo! (Chaz
zie) I got cold feet! (Chazzie) Cold feet. (Chazzie) Cold feet! (Chazzie) Cold feet! (Me, voice over) That being said, I really should have been
paying attention to that expression right there. (Me, video) All right, Chazzie. You ready to start? (Chazzie) Mmm-Hmm! (Chazzie) That was two-year-old for,
"I am about to mess up this whole recording." [Yoga app begins, instructs] [Yoga app continues, "Reach your arms overhead..."] [Me and Chazzie breathing along with the app] [Chazzie, excitedly brea
thing with the app] (Me, in video) Baby, I need to stretch. Thank you. (Chazzie) I need to stretch too, Mommy! (Me) Mmm-Hmm. Stretch! (Me, laughing) Good job! Here. (Me) Put this...like this.
[Yoga app continues to instruct while music cover play] (Me, muttering instructions) Okay! There you go, you're doing it! (Chazzie) What's this? What's she doing? (Me) She's doing the same stretch as us. (Me) It's yoga. (Chazzie) Mmm-Hmmm.
It's yoga dance! (Me, voice over) So, I actually started to lose her
a little bit at this point. Um...she stayed around to sit on my head during shavasana.
But after that, she kind of wandered away. Um, she returned to tell me that she peed on her bed
and we were done with the session for the day. =P [Yoga app giving instruction]
(Me, breathing in time) Day two was really just about her getting
comfortable with hanging out with me. She actually requested that we do yoga and I was really excited
because I love yoga and I really want her to love it as well. She
wasn't really into the poses.
Though, the day before she had... like randomly asked me to do down dog and to go in child's pose. Which was adorable.
But she wasn't interested in actually doing yoga right here. She was interested in hanging out with mom.
And that is more than acceptable. I was thrilled, she was thrilled, everybody was thrilled.
And it was a lot of fun! (Me) You ready, Chazzie? (Me, voice over) So, during day three I realized that I
had made a terrible mistake. I had introduced h
er to yoga but we hadn't actually talked about... Down time and recovery and how exercise is supposed to work. So this day I didn't want to do yoga.
I was very sore. I know it doesn't necessarily look like I’m working really hard but... I’ve lost a lot of flexibility,
so holding those poses and... also mustering up the strength
to do them in the first place are kind of a challenge.
But... she didn't care, of course she was having fun. She was hanging out with mom, she was learning a new thing.
We were doing it like our girl time. So basically she was like... "That sounds like a you problem, we're doing yoga."
*Laughs* She was more interested in actually holding the poses and talking about what we were doing this time. And it was a lot of fun, but...
I was basically dying the whole time. It was...it was. Um, yeah.
It took me a couple of days to recover after this one. I didn't realize how much of my belly shows
in this video and I was really tempted to just, uhh... Blur it out or some
thing, but then I
was like... "Don't be ridiculous, girl.
That is why you're working out in the first place." So, whatever. Enjoy my flabby body.
*Laughs* I’m so fluffy. It's all good. She was clearly done at this point, but...*groans*
Between her and Ganon, I was really... Really determined to make it to namaste. [groovy, chilled-out tunes end]
