(gentle upbeat music) - Jack tries to move on, tries to be open to love again, and he gets lucky a second time. - Sorry, you all right? - Yeah, thank you, sorry. Based on the title, I thought that was gonna be a romantic comedy. - Oh, no, it was, yeah. That's just, for Nazis, that is a romantic comedy. - He meets somebody wonderful. And that person is Lynn, who's a very strong, confident, funny person who shares, in a way, the more traditional ideas about how a relationship would be and how love
would work. - If you would ask me, when I was growing up, what the person that I would one day marry would look like, sound like, and be like, I would've said someone just like you. - They sort of fit together culturally and the way they grew up and where they're from. (phone ringing) - Lovey? - Yeah? - Who's Alice? - She's an ex. - Oh, no, do you wanna take it? - Nah. - Nah? - Or the easiest route could have been Jack and Lynn together. - She's here. - She's always here. She's always a presenc
e, I don't deny it. - No, she's here. - And then you've got this other situation and that that one is the one that he ends up, ultimately, drawn to. (gentle upbeat music) - We should probably talk. - Yeah. - What percentage of the days, since I've known you, have you thought about her? - 100%. - The thing that's quite lovely about her is she knows her own worth and she's able to tell him that in no uncertain terms. - Do you really think that I could wake up tomorrow morning or any morning and fe
el happy or safe or fully loved? I may be less experienced than you in the wonders of love, but I do know one thing and that is that I'm nobody's consolation prize. - Had Alice not come along, I'm quite sure Lynn and Jack would've lived happily ever after. - The higher payment, plus 30%, shared custody, 2/3rd to 1/3rd in my client's favor. - That's outrageous, we refuse. - Done. - That's him, that's too much. - I want you to have it. - Are you sure? - She's able to reach a position of grace in t
he show, despite how much he hurts her, that I think is quite beautiful. - Well, if you find that you can't, you can just, you can just tell me. - Thanks. - And thus, returns their relationship to a place of grace, which is quite clear to me by the end. (gentle upbeat music)

After watching the first 2 episodes I don't think I can watch it anymore. Totally lost all respect for Jack and Alice. Ince she finds out he is married she should have left and sonshoukd he have.I can have no respect for anyone who cheats in their spouse, and, yes I know it's only a show. They are both absorbed with themselves.

@Suzu52

Not sure what he finds so fascinating in Alice...she s very narcisstic imo.
