hello and welcome to trading growth and value stocks my name is James Boyd we welcome you here today we also uh have Lee Bohl with us today in the chat you'll see his initials as LB I want to make an assumption uh lee is very knowledgeable been with the company I believe it's almost what 38 years Lee correct me if I'm wrong I'm going to make an assumption if Lee doesn't know I don't I definitely don't don't know and uh it's great to have his wisdom and knowledge here with us so if you any questi
ons as we go just know that if you see lb answering that is Lee Bohl who also teaches throughout the week now just real quick and we' like to welcome all of you Eva L oen David PR uh Doug Silas and many other as well welcome to all of you now also if you're checking this out on recording welcome to Prime Time okay now sorry you weren't able to see it live but hey this is what the recording is for and why we have the YouTube page now just real quick as we get started today's very important okay u
h last week we spent some time remember we we are in an eight-week series okay and last week we spent some time talking about the sample value plan today we're going to be talking about the sample growth plan we mentioned last week why an investor would give uh or I should say why would they care to have both plans we know that sometimes some investors focus more on value versus growth the days about growth okay now just real quick as we get started as we do want to give us some quick disclosure
s remember the information here is for General informational purposes only not considered an individualized recommendation or endorsement of any particular security chart pattern or investment strategy Schwab does not recommend the use of technical analysis as a sole means of research okay this class we use both fundamental analysis and technical analysis I know some of you think that's Superior I'm not saying it is or not it's just uh you can choose what you want to do now also remember that th
e pap money software application also known as the desktop that's what we will be using also remember that there's risk associated investing in dividend paying stocks okay and also remember that investing in stocks involves risk including loss and principal P past performance is no guarantee of future results now today what we really want to kind of focus on we're spend the whole time we're going to jump right in on this sample growth investing plan let's go back to for example uh where we actua
lly found I want to pull this up now by the way you can follow me and Lee on X I posted my granddaughter this is last Friday picked her up a little bike it's kind of funny she was a little gunshy31 sitting down so we're going to do round two tomorrow see if it picks up any better uh a little fun there she is investor number one for me investor number two is coming in May so my gosh got to get this sample plan in order speaking of that so what we want to do is we want to go to schwab.com okay now
a lot of times and Lee you've seen this I've seen this a lot of times we don't know this stuff's here okay poke around on the website uh if you go click on the learn after you log in you click on where it says learn and we're going to go over to where it says right below that courses now if we click on where it says courses you're now going to see that the second really page down is going to be the sample plan okay let me log back in So once you do that now by the way feel free to do this right
now so you could actually follow along let me log back in let me go learn courses and as I do that what you're going to see is the second course down okay second course down is going to be the stocks investing with fundamental analysis okay that's what we did last week that's what we're focusing on we uh remind ourselves each week we're going to click on that now when you go below the lessons Okay scroll down keep scrolling Below in the resources at the bottom you're going to notice where it sa
y Stock Investing fundamental analysis it's the plan they have a sample plan is based on value we talked about that last week and the intrinsic value calculator where is that where is that where is that where is that it's in the fundamental course it's below the lessons underneath resources okay so I'm going to click on that now I think this is very important now what we need to understand is on page two it talks about how this is really provided for informational purposes only not considered a
recommendation okay so we're going to kind of go over some things in investor might consider if they were doing this as growth okay so if I go down to the third page and I'm going to really zoom in on this quite aggressively I'm GNA kind of speak to some things that maybe an investor who was doing growth might change okay now I I wantan to I want to be nice when I say this but really serious there are some investors who have taken this very serious and I've seen the past history of it where they
are really curious about building a a plan for some other investors they know it's a good idea but they've never gotten around to it to really have a written down plan for some investors they don't even think that's legit that if they're investing how could they for example be investing if they don't have a plan now that's a good question some investors actually think that the plan the investing plan is linked to your own personal confidence that confidence is linked to your long-term activity
in investing most likely to reach your financial goal so what you'll probably find is people that don't really stick around never really had a sample plan this is the blueprint okay this is what we're going to practice off and hold ourselves accountable to so just briefly as we hop right in couple things we want to really kind of make some changes on now I'm going to speak to them I can't write on this but I'm going to kind of speak to this and point things out so ly we're not talking about valu
e we're talking about growth now this does not take away from the fact that we're looking for fundamentally strong stocks let me let me kind of give some uh what we really mean by uh stocks that appear fundamentally strong we like to really look for stocks that in the last one to three years had an increase of Revenue okay something that did good in the last quarter or two it's probably not enough want to see something in the last year or two where that Revenue growth might have been doubl digit
growth okay in the last one to three years do we see on Revenue double- digit growth second do we see an increase on earnings per share third do we actually see a potential if they do pay a dividend if they do is that dividend the same and or is it increasing that would really give us a litness test of a company that is actually fundamentally strong and potentially growing now some other part of this is it actually says undervalued the thing is we're not necessarily looking for something underv
alued we're looking for something where the market price or the current stock price is the same as the intrinsic value or might be up to let's say a 30% premium to what the intrinsic value is now that could be different for everyone okay we're looking for something where the stock price is the same as the intrinsic value price or the current stock price is up to a 30% premium to its intrinsic value now you might say I'm going to even go more than that the higher you go the more speculation there
is in the current stock price and it the company better hit on what investors are forecasting in our example we're going to use 30% premium as a cap you for you it might be different now the other thing I want to kind of make Point here is we would like to see that the stocks that we're looking at might be the top 10 in the sector okay we would even say the worst top 20 in the sector the other thing that we' actually and by the way we're looking at Price performance we want to see our other inv
estors identifying that potential and pumping up the price the second part of that is in the industry group we like to to see it's maybe the top five in terms of price performance in the industry group wait why did you say top 10 or 20 in the sector and on the Industry Group you knocked it down to five well because in the sector you could have you have multiple industry groups okay so if you get in the top 10 or 20 that could still be respectable but if we go down to the industry group we want t
o see that the stock that we're looking at is in the top five for the industry group for Price perform performance okay now if we kind of go down a little bit something I want we want to change clearly is when we talk about value we talked about looking for I mean it shows right here PE of 20 or lower well if we're looking for a growth company and when I say Growth Company I want you to think about like uh Park City uh think about like Pebble Beach uh Upper Manhattan whatever or upper east side
okay when we talk about growth you're typically not Scotch St Arizona okay when I say those names you know darn well those prices probably aren't going to be cheap okay so growth companies are typically going to have a little bit higher inflated pees for the potential growth okay our number that we're going to choose is 20 to 75 five wait is this being recorded yes it is now price of sales we don't talk about price of book unless we're talking about financial companies okay price to sales we're
going to make it we're going to give it a lot of latitude here anything from 2 to 15 that would be unbelievable if it was only two okay but we're going to push it all the way up to 15 and the last thing that we're going to touch or second to last is Roe want 12% or higher and the volume 1 million okay now what happens here is you know the question now becomes how on Earth would you find those really not that bad okay it there's we could use on thinker swim we could actually use the search there
or we could just use the search right off the schwab.com website so first off I don't think anyone got into for example uh investing because they said I want to be a professional Searcher okay I know I felt like a professional Searcher for the first two years because I had no clue what I was looking for they didn't have any classes like this and yes we were on dialup internet literally okay don't laugh okay now the biggest thing is what we're going to do is we're going to go to where it says res
earch what we want to find is a list of stocks that reflect the criteria that we just pulled up so I'm going to go to research we're going to go to where it says stocks okay and once we go to research stocks it's going to give us us where it says stock screener we're going to click on stock screener click now wait how do we get there research stocks okay now once we get to this page there's your stock screener now from here what you're going to notice is it has like basic information the most ba
sic information that we can get is price the most basic information that we can get which tells a lot by the way is average volume okay this is the fastest way to take your list down we're going to choose click on 40 to 60 we're going to choose anything greater than 60 so click on both we're going to say look we'd like to see anything with 1 million to 10 million and anything greater than 10 million those two criteria have just knocked us down to 558 stock just two criteria okay now as part of t
he sample plan we said we we looking for like PE and price of sales where is that well down on the left hand side if I click on valuation click it's now going to give us really price to earnings going to put a check mark in that box and we're going to put a check mark right in price of sales now we're almost done okay you close your eyes it's over so the biggest thing is here is when we said enter specific values what was the values that we said you remember okay Ander specific values well if we
did that the number was between 25 and 70 yes yeah so uh you know uh yeah American online that okay yeah that's exactly what it was so now the biggest thing is between 25 and 70 now when we look at price of sales enter specific values we're going to click on that between and what do we say there we said anything between 2 to 15 okay now when we do that these four criteria price volume price earnings price sales we're down to 136 stocks now are we done or we missing something well we're actually
missing something so where do we get that last piece we were talking about return on Equity so if we go back over here where is the return on Equity well fin uh we're going to click on this right there you're going to see right there we're going to click on it click and now you actually see return on Equity right there now what was the number we said as a minimum well going back to what we said before enter specific values click and we were looking for example of anything greater than 12 now hi
storically we would just leave this blank and it would just take us up to anything but we're going to put like a ceiling on this okay uh I think the number I use just to kind of create a ceiling let me actually see what it was 40 uh nope let's go 50 example no Jesus it's even more than I thought 60 okay let's just go there okay so really the number if I take 12 to 50 it's going to give us before about an hour ago I had about 67 matches I'm getting a little bit more that's fine okay and here's th
e thing I thought the goal was that you wanted to get down to one stock now Le's probably laughing at this the goal is not to get down to one because if you get down to that one stock you have really narrowed that pond of potential really really really low You' like a list of 50 to 75 stocks to technically comb those to see if they're really what you're looking for this is the fundamental criteria okay we have not overlaid that technical criteria yet we're going to view the 75 matches now let me
kind of just back this up so you can see in aggregate what we just did okay want everyone to kind of get a good shot the first two given the second the third priced earnings priced sales return on Equity okay nothing too complicated okay but I wanted you to just see kind of in total what it looked like we're going to say view the 75 matches now what you're going to notice is we can say save this screen so we don't have to do it again if we save the screen save screen we could just title it and
when we come back you're going to see that it's going to show us any save screens that we have and you're going to see that I did one about an hour ago I just labeled it as the date and I called it growth okay so guys and gals if we came back in a month from now two months from now it's going to take the same filter and just run it in the current Marketplace so the stocks that we have here a Abby V Abbot Obe aami American Tower Amazon you name it there they are now the biggest thing is you might
be thinking well this is wonderful but how do I actually take this to let's say The Thinker platform which is not a bad question if we go to where it says uh export to CSV okay right there export to CSV what it's really doing is it's taking the ticker symbols where you then can import those into the Thinker swim platform okay if I go export to CSV which is like Excel click on it okay what it's now going to do is it's going to give us there it is and there's my list now what I'm going to do is I
'm just gonna save the file okay if I go file save as and I'm just going to call this and you've seen this before I'm on a PC I'm just going to call this class watch list okay just make sure I'm going to save it to my desktop that way I can find it save okay now let's bring up The Thinker swim platform also not very difficult okay if we go to the market watch okay and if for example if we go to market watch and we have quotes there just over to the right you get the three lines we've seen this b
efore we're now going to go down to where it says import okay import and what it's going to do is this let me show that again click on the three lines click on where it says import okay there it is now we're going to say what file now if I say select file it's going to pull up the files on this computer and what you're going to notice is I'm going to go down to what do we call it okay what do we call it well what do we call it class watch list now don't worry you're probably thinking yeah I'm go
nna do the same thing I can't remember what I called it okay it happens to all of us class watch list let's open it so now what it does is it's going to take those 67 stocks and just smash those into this list okay so there you go now let's so first off any questions any questions so far so what we went over so far okay is when we look at this let's go back to that sample plan we talked about the objective the watch Source criteria I'm going to tell you if you don't have a basic search like we j
ust did it doesn't matter what we do on the this third page it doesn't matter because you can't talk about entries and exits until you have have a stock that you're going to practice that on Fair okay now let's kind of just see if there's Dragon Rider says is a does it exist I I I think it's still out there actually yes okay now the one thing I want to kind of do is when we talk about sample entry rules okay I want to kind of just see if I can't write this down here so I did a class yesterday wh
ere we talked about uh kind of some of the fundamentals that I think we we forget for investors we would like to see the price okay above the 10day EMA this tells us momentum not going to go into it check the class from yesterday I covered for Cameron we' also like to see the price above 10day EMA and 30-day SMA and that's telling us about momentum okay and Trend we're using the 30-day SMA as a proxy for are identifying Trend it's one of the first things you learn in technical analysis looking a
t the direction of the 10 uh the 30-day moving average and seeing if the price is above it okay now other things that we would actually look at this here you're going to notice that we would include things like cold okay close above high of low day and if we're talking about gross stocks we're we want to be very familiar with Price p patterns such as it could be a uh the most common the ascending triangle uh it could be a symmetrical triangle okay the investor here needs to be very clear on hori
zontal breakouts and I'm just going to label these as horizontal BOS okay for breakouts okay we're not saying the diagonal breakouts don't happen but horizontal breakouts especially and the big thing that we would actually like to include here is flag Zilla okay shouldn't laugh now if you take a look at flag Zilla uh now by the way uh Lee has done a class lately talking about horizontal breakouts Lee if you could put that in the chat if you could the second thing that Lee talked about this last
week is understanding the kind of the concept of flag what is it higher high higher low a flag in most Parts if it's a typical flag is really a form of a Debo it's really a diagonal breakout okay so when we talk about horizontal breakouts I'll just label as HBO we use a filter of like a 20-day high or a 55 day high so 20 days would be like one month 55 days would be like two and a half months 20 days would be like a short-term High 55 days 55 days would really be in this case like a basing patte
rn that's breaking out think of it as intermediate 20-day for shortterm 55 day 55 really for kind of more intermediate okay now so if we kind of so we got to now ask the question how do I find horizontal breakouts how do I actually find Flags how do I find 20day how do I find 55 day highs these are or by the way one other thing we could add here is moving average okay crossovers let me kind of for example label how many tools could we maybe be looking for to kind of Aid the process to find what
we're looking for so number one is okay we would really be saying how do I find a horizontal breakout we find a horizontal Breakout by by using a script that looks for a 20-day High and a 55 day high okay so that's all together how do we find for example let's say a uh a moving average crossover that's really a second script okay and we could probably say Flags how could I actually find Flags well Lee has one I have one Etc uh Ken has one what you're gonna notice is we would just kind of really
need three scripts to really help us see potential sample entries but if we included behold we could really just say look I really need four scripts to help assist in seeing those setups four now I don't I have a rule okay if it's less than a handful it's not too much fair that's my rule if it's less than a handful it's not too much okay so here we go so where where can we find those now first off what I'm going to do is I'm going to go back to here and what I'm going to do in this case is I'm g
oing to now we went over this yesterday the class that I'm mentioning from yesterday I could actually pull it up but it's Cam's class from yesterday and let me just kind of grab that for just a second if you missed it I forgive you I'm a forgiving person okay some of you might just say I didn't know you were doing that fine okay and uh having a little fun with you don't take me serious okay and uh let me find that okay so there it is so the link from yesterday if you said I didn't not see that t
he this link that I'm sending to you in the chat that is from yesterday okay thank you Lee for sending that so if you said James if we're talking about horizontal breakouts I I feel a little weak with that Lee just put in the chat a horizontal breakout class bookmark that the class from yesterday if you said I'm kind of on seeing or finding stocks of a momentum finding stocks that have a trend or finding stocks that are cold or what is that or what's a CH that could just bookmark that class that
I just sent in the bottom of that chat that's gonna answer that okay so two great classes there okay now uh Leah is also typing in flag class with scans for Flags okay I feel like today we should just I mean it is Easter weekend okay so think of the these as e these are like little investing eggs okay so to say little help helpful uh scans or scripts searches whatever you want to call them to help you find what you're looking for now think of for example the scripts as a search understand that
it's computer-based okay it's not guaranteed for accuracy you want to verify so when I come back to this uh something that we just wrote here I want to imagine that we're looking for let's say a stock that is hitting a potential just 20 or 55 day high okay so if I say hey I'm looking for a stock that is really hitting a 20day high okay well if we were looking for a stock that was really hitting a now number one is it has a 52e high okay but if I was looking for a stock maybe was hitting a uh a 5
0 uh 20day high and for some reason it's not on here but I can put it on if we were looking for that okay let me just pull this up and put that on and I could send it to you and any of the scripts that we share they are on X okay you can find them on X and I'm I'm going to share these okay now remember what we said we ran the search everyone needs to know how to run the search how do I put the search into the platform talk about exporting importing we did that and then once I have the list how c
an you use the scripts to rake through technically what we're trying to find so what I'm going to do is I'm G to actually just come up to the very tippy top click on the gear open shared item now what you're going to see is in this case I'm going to type in what I'm seeing on X and what I'm going to do is I and I'm going to share it with you here as well ibx bgm 9 okay now this right here is really a 20 DH it's a short for day high why don't you spell it all out well if we spelled it all out we
would have less column room that's why we're doing what we're doing okay let's import that okay I'll tell you where it is in just a second and to click on it again open shared item we're going to put the 55 there okay and this is how if we find breakouts okay so think of the 20day is short term think of the 55 is intermediate one thing I want to kind of explain to you right now is you do not have to make this complicated okay if it is really going up one of these twos is going to be catching it
okay now if I click on that type in 55 DH okay and I'm going to share it with you don't worry we're in sharing mood today and what we're going to do is we're going to right click on the heading so once we put that in there right click customize what are we doing well what I'm going to do is I'm GNA scrip just kind of strip it down to nothing and then what we're going to do is we're just going to type in 20 and just say look we're only looking for a 20day high add the item now what we're also goi
ng to do is type in the 55 eh put it right there and now what you're going to see is we're only looking for stock St in the list that we found from the website that could be really hitting a 20-day high or a 55 day high the zero with that black background is really showing that it could be saying no it's not at a 20-day high or it's not at a 55 day high now if you get a stock for example like rmd that is hitting a 20day high confirm that the green color is just saying yes it is hitting a 20 high
but verify now if that stock is hitting like not only a 20 and a 55 day high it's going to be showing both so this is a fundamental list that we actually built but now we're just overlaying on top the technical scripts to screen it out okay now so if we looked in this list and said how many stocks do we see that are actually hitting short-term highs a n brow ecl EMR rmd stz and waste management what does that really tell us well if you're hitting a short-term high that would be a pretty good pl
ace to start for a a trend of momentum Fair now let's share those okay so let me kind of just share this with you and put it back now don't worry we're going to talk about exits and and uh the other two pieces down below but let me just kind of put this in okay so when we did this uh let me send it okay I got to type in one thing sorry for the spelling for the Caps okay now that's that's for the 20 and if we type in the 55 send that and it's going to be right there okay so you have both now the
only other now maybe one other thing we might add is we could add even like hey are any of these let's say like moving average crossovers okay or are any of these close above the high of the low days Etc well if I put that right there which we could share again I'm just going to stop here because you get the point right if I know if I know how to put on one I can put on any of them okay if we do this and whoop if I do that if you said I don't have that let me send that if you didn't check see th
e class from yesterday okay that it if if we had maybe just two more minutes we would even like to kind of put on like a moving average crossover okay an example given just okay we do have an extra two minutes who said that uh I did so if we take a look at this the whole moving average if I wanted to include that as well we'll do it quick and it is case sensitive where am I looking at I'm looking right on the X page and it's just I'm just kind of copying off and talking at the same time now if I
could talk and type at the same time then I have full confidence in you that you could just look and type only okay Ma the max is just really a crossover so here's the thing with four crossovers this is really going to give us a really a way to see crossovers back bounces and breakouts now I'm going to tell you there's going to be some people that are going to tell you man you need to know this certain indicator because it's the greatest thing since sliced bread okay but the fact of the matter
is when you look at this greatest thing since sliced bread the 20day high is already showing that the greatest things in slice bread Cold's already showing that the greatest things in slice bread the moving average crossover is already showing you that it's amazing how many greatest things of all time we've actually seen that are just more of what this is already showing already okay so if you took these four things bounces crossovers breakouts everything from here is just a derivative of these
four main things tell me that's not true okay now what I now want to kind of do is when we go back to this okay which is really important when we look at this and kind of say okay on the chart if we said James is there a way where we could also kind of see those C holds on the chart we mentioned that as well yesterday the thing we kind of want to point up here is looking at the exits okay so when you scroll down in where it says sample exit rules 11 okay someone said 10 11 and now what you're go
ing to notice is sample exit rules I think for many investors this is kind of like well it's kind of dependent upon what I see it's saying 3% below a recent significant significant support level the problem with this is if you ask 200 people where they thought the support level is they could say 10 different things but what if we kind of made it more automatic wonder if we just said you know what that might be a way to do it if you're pretty to see where the support level is and there's nothing
wrong with for example using this like 2 to 3% below a recent significant support level when we say significant we're looking in the last two to three weeks as a minimum to two to three months so if we're going to go back and look at let's say What's significant minimum two to three weeks Max probably two to three months now that could be like a horizontal support level it could be diagonal support is support okay now if we're talking about hey the trade or investment is already in and I had the
initial stop what is kind of maybe more of a a way to kind of just track it over time and AD just a stop or a potential exit okay so let me repeat this this is looking at the initial stop but after a while the investor might want to raise that so some investors are I think I should say most are probably visual people okay now what you're going to notice is if I actually bring this up okay Style and what I'm going to do is uh now by the way if you said could you send me this chart let me just se
nd it to you just real quick so you have that and the second chart I'll send you okay is so that's this chart right here but if I said hey could you send me this chart right here what is it could you send it I will okay so just hold for just a second okay now there's a small company that's hurt our feelings lately it was as of yesterday it's a small company called caterpillar okay now let me just kind of give you an example of what we mean by this okay I'm going to make this a full screen here o
kay let's say someone said James I I entered in on a moving average crossover or where that gole dot is okay we see right here down below there's an orange line and there's like a silver line what's the difference well what this is so if you got in let's say right there and you said I set my stop below a recent significant support level we Define what that meant for us okay and we entered and what we wanted to see was either of these two bottom lines increasing but what are they telling us but w
hat they're showing us is it plots over time where the 10 day low is so in other words if we were right here on this right hand side it goes back one 2 3 four five 5 6 7 8 nine 10 and what it really does is it marks right on the chart where that low is and that low is right around if you follow my cursor all the way over right around 286 so the orange line is going back 10 days ago and actually plotting it on the chart so what's the significance well some investors what they do is they say look
I want to give the stock some breathing room right right I don't want to set it too tight but if this orange line is going up this allows the investor to manually adjust the stop okay now if we go forward one day forward another day forward another day when that orange line is increasing that is really saying the investor if they wanted to could raise their stop okay now does every day turn out like that no sometimes the line is flat what does that mean the 10day low did not change and notice so
metimes you're going to see that the price comes very very very close to where that 10day low is example given and what you're now going to notice is that 10day low the goal is not to ever move down the stop because that's like a pulling off your seat belt right before the crash and what you're going to notice is that got really really close okay now we go forward what you're going to notice is as we kind of look and see what happens over time it doesn't touch that line and the stop sometimes fo
r about a week or two period the stop never changed because the 10day low is the same and then if we go forward and say where's the stop now it's going to be in this case the stop is going to be right around 339 now let me kind of tell you the tightest that maybe an investor who's trading growth might do this the tightest they might take this is five days okay okay five days is height now if you want to practice that if you want to go back and view this and say I want to see what the difference
is fine you could for example take five as the shortest 10 would really kind of be the middle the bottom line here is really a 20day low that's what that's showing now just for giggles just for a little fun if you said James says we're talking about growth I would like to for example look at something where it had a little tighter stop because I'm just trying to make a little piece of that Trend fine let's have it your way okay it's all about what you want and now what you're going to see in thi
s case if we change this to a five day low it's now just going to be well it's going to be above that orange line and there she is so if you said James I couldn't even fathom having a stop down that that low at a 10day low at 338 when the stock is $30 higher then this gray line which I'm going to send to you is showing where the five-day low is now what does that kind of mean well that means if I back this chart off if someone was trying to ride a trend there can be some times in here where ther
e could be a stop out like there okay what does this mean well if someone's going to set a tighter stop like that or a stop adjustment if the investor is going to consider that they need to become proficient in what would be the re-entry signals again and I want to say that word again again again because an uptrend is higher highs and higher lows and on some of those pullbacks if someone says James I got stopped out right here right there where's the re-entry well the re-entry would be in either
of these days but most likely right where my pencil is because that's the CLE date that's the moving average crossover day if someone said James I initially set my stock right below this little plateau and if they said as the stock came off the ground I then start to use that Gray Line what is that depicting it's depicting the five day low over time and if we said well how long did that one go let's kind of see what happened it actually got stopped out right M maybe maybe there okay but probabl
y for sure the very next day now again guarantee we have to see did it fill so if we went back and looked at this what you're going to notice is that cold or crossover was there and that really trade went to about right there now as a growth investor what they're really trying to do is just to get a piece of that move let's say that together just a piece of it a piece a piece they're not trying to get all of it just get a little piece of it okay now here's what I'm going to do let me send that t
o share okay share that okay and now what you're going to notice is that now here's the thing there's a lot of things that could work the question is will the investor focus and work it oh that's something totally different okay so what I want you to do is I want you to kind of take these charts that I give you and I want you kind of look at examples of where the growth entries would be and where the exits could have B I want you to kind of look and see would you mind in using a 5day low as a st
op adjustment or would you prefer something a little bit less active and maybe use a 20-day low now the way you could actually get to this and I got to close here we're going to take uh G to go up to the very tip top click on the gear open shared item copy and paste what that does is when we do that same way as we did before this is now a chart if I import this chart there it is okay same way as we did before but now it's a little chart but how do I save the chart well it's what you'd expect we'
re going to go right to where it says style and then save style in this case I'm just going to call it three okay and now what you're going to notice is when I go to style load style there she is okay that's all it is to it same way to kind of put on the previous script but here we're just doing in the chart and going to style save style okay so what's your homework assignment your homework assignment is can you physically write down a sample plan okay can you for example run that search on Schw
ab come up with a list and then use the scripts to Overlay to rake out technically what you're trying to find what we said actually before is that when you really take a look at four main Scripts a crossover a breakout or a bounce those four script are the technical analysis pillars of price movement every other thing that comes past those four is a derivative of these four I found one that had the RSI going up in the stochastics well how's that any different than these four I found one that had
the Rune indicator that was doing this or the CCI doing that there ftic to macd going up how is that any different than these four show me what you want to show but the fact of the matter is if it's really that hot one of these four all the four are going to be showing that most likely never forget that okay now the biggest thing is I'm out of my time here today it's amazing how fast time goes next week we'll talk about uh comparing stocks fundamentally and picking a potential setup okay this h
as been recorded so for example you could actually go back you could check out our sample uh playlist that sample playlist uh let me actually bring it up is going to be right there and uh let me actually try to grab that that playlist there you go let me send that right there okay so you don't have to remember this you can go back and just watch the playlist now remember with what we discussed here today it was done for example illustrative purposes only I want to thank Lee so much for answering
those questions in chat and I wish you a great day we'll see you tomorrow as we kick off features tomorrow morning with that said thank you so much take care bye-bye
