In the last video, We have covered all the
main requirements under the Project objective 7 AUTOSAR shall support the collaboration between
various partners. In this video we will be covering the Project
Objective 9 which states AUTOSAR shall support applicable international
automotive standards and state-of-the-art technologies. To be a standard that wholistically captures
all aspects of automotive development, AUTOSAR shall support all the international standards
like ISO26262 and also enable q
uality development by supporting
state-of-the-art technologies. With this overview in mind, Lets look into
the main requirements Firstly lets look into the requirements which
are already covered in previous objective which are also relevant for this objective From Project Objective 4 , we have following
relevant requirements [RS_Main_00170] AUTOSAR shall provide secure
access to ECU [RS_Main_00260] AUTOSAR shall provide diagnostics
means during runtime, for production and services purposes

ain_00430] AUTOSAR shall support established automotive communication standards From Project Objective 5 , we have following
relevant requirements [RS_Main_00010] AUTOSAR shall provide a software
platform to support the development of safety related systems. [RS_Main_00011] AUTOSAR shall support the
development of reliable systems [RS_Main_00030] AUTOSAR shall support development
processes for safety related systems [RS_Main_00350] AUTOSAR specifications shall
be analyzable and support according
methods to demonstrate the achievement of safety
related properties. [RS_Main_00490] AUTOSAR processes shall be
compliant to ISO26262 From Project Objective 7 , we have following
relevant requirements [RS_Main_00420] AUTOSAR shall use established
software standards and consolidate de-facto standards for basic software functionality You can watch Project Objective 4,5 and 7

associated with the Project Objective 9
in this video [RS_Main_00290] AUTOSAR shall support the
verification of its specifications To develop safety related automotive systems
all development artifacts need to be verified. Hence AUTOSAR shall make best effort to document
the ideal process and verfication procedures required to test the safety critical application
documented in the specification. These specification once developed shall undergo
thorough unit level and requirement level testing to ensure that the application is
safe an
d works as expected based on the specification. On the whole with all these requirements,
AUTOSAR is making best effort to fullfill project objective 9 AUTOSAR shall support applicable international
automotive standards and state-of-the-art technologies. With this we conclude on the series of 9 Project
