let's BR bring in the house Republican conference chair Alise stonic she's a trump Ally was actually I think Elise the first person in in the house to endorse Donald Trump uh what is your reaction to the news that Nikki Haley plans to get out of the race well certainly the voters have made the decision even before super Tuesday that President Trump is our strongest candidate to defeat Joe Biden this November so we need to come together and unite uh and Republican voters have done that loudly and

clearly so we are very focused on making sure that we support president Trump in his campaign and defeat Joe Biden this November to save our country but this is the strongest Republican primary victory in modern history for president Trump if you look at his sweeping and resounding Victory on super Tuesday but also winning Iowa New Hampshire South Carolina and just running the tables uh when it comes to coalescing voters in support of the choice this election and when the choices between Presid

ent Trump and President Joe Biden overwhelmingly vter are moving in president Trump's Direction look at the national polls that show president Trump is in the strongest position ever headed to the general you know we had Dana Pina on and she reminded us of this moment this was Harold for Jr her co-anchor four the five and she said he said that Haley should reach out to Donald Trump uh listen to this we might have missed a moment tonight uh to your point Britt the Haley supporters I think she pro

bably needs to reach out but if you're the if you're the the one that wins you reach out the independence if indeed black voters and Hispanic voters are are are flocking to him like some of the polling data and I don't disbelieve it suggest I'd have reached out to people with a little a little more don't think she should call him and say congratulations sir and then they try to move on from there yeah but if if I'm trying to heal the breach in my party and there's a breach we need to be clear 30

% of Republicans still say that they they they wanted someone else I'd reach what what does he lose not reaching up her so congresswoman who do you think should reach out you know it's up Nick you should endorse president president Trump that should have happened a long time ago and I'm going to let president Trump handle how he wants to approach this but my focus isn't on unifying and Nikki is far behind where the voters have already been which is we are unified behind president Trump to defeat

Joe Biden so it's going to be important to have as broad of a coalition as possible and president Trump has built that in his campaign you saw Harold Ford talk about the historic support among Hispanic voters among African-American voters and independents and soft Democrats and that PLL the fact that 97% of trump voters who voted for him in 2020 are going to vote for him again that number slips into the 80s for Joe Biden with 10% moving towards president Trump that's the election there folks an

d this is going to continue to move in our Direction on the issues that matter if you look at the border crisis on the economy on the handling of crime on the handling of National Security president Trump has a double- digigit lead in some cases over 30 points on each of those main issues and this is the stage that Joe Biden is going to step on today for the State of the Union there is no resetting his campaign there is no resetting the failed Administration he's had on those key issues that are

important to voters well it we were talking to John McCormack the reporter who broke this story that she's going to drop out he said her comments are going to be really brief today could be two or three minutes long but apparently she's going to give Donald Trump an assignment and That is uh you've got to earn the support of the people who voted me for me the Republicans and The Independents uh how does he do that well he's doing it she doesn't need nobody needs to give president Trump the assi

gnment he he knows that he is putting forth a vision to save this country and he has shown that in his resounding victory in the primary this is the strongest Republican primary win ever in modern American politics and he should be credited with that um you know it is clear that Nikki's campaign did not understand the voters in the situation and the voters determine the outcome of these primary elections they're the most important voices as we head to November so that's why you continue to see P
