housekeepers who were still employed at graceland, took this silly photo peeking out of the
music room. left to right is Nancy Rooks, Pauline Nicholson and Lottie Tyson. the caption at
the bottom says, "the house on 14 acres in Memphis was his castle but upkeep on graceland was a
drain on the $10 million estate that Presley left his daughter Lisa Marie. it was costing
nearly $500,000 a year, including salaries for guards at Presley's grave. more tha
n a
million visitors have paid $6.50 (adults) and $4.50 (kids) for the basic tour. the plane is
another $3.50. Graceland Enterprises now grosses $5 million a year and earnings are expected
to double in 1985 with a brand new shopping center across Elvis Presley Boulevard, eventually
featuring a multimedia show, shops and a hotel
