It's finally time for me to leave India and go back to America. I have
shown you the journey of Ladakh till now. Now, in what will be the last phase of this journey, there I show
you how I travel back as an immigrant. I am going to show the part,
my current flight is at 11:30 pm and it will reach New York in the morning
at around 6:1 am, according to New York time, I will leave about three hours
earlier or 3.25 hours earlier. And now it is about 6:30 in the evening,
this moment in India
when we have to leave the house or when our family members
go to drop us at the airport, I would say that this is the most difficult time
because you are leaving a house. When you are going to another
house, a lot of things are going on inside your mind, everyone has a family as well as their own
and this time there is a little more change because half of my family is here.
Mom, Dad, the rest of the cousins, all of them are a joint family, they all are here and you know
my wife and son, they all
are waiting in America, so this time
it is a little more difficult because some people are waiting there. I have been here for a long time and
I am leaving some people from here and as I said,
this moment is the toughest in the life of us immigrants, so I hope like every time, a little emotion
will come in, it will take some time to cover it up. As soon as there will be a security check,
I am sure that I will forget all that and then I will start my journey ahead
and will show you everything fr
om my home here in Delhi to
my home in America. There are experiences , how I travel,
how I reach home and finally I will introduce you to my wife and son.

Like every time, on the last day, I eat my secret Kachori because
I don't get it in America, it is very far there, I would say that I have to drive two hours to go.
That part is available there,
we have already done it, so I have gone with my cousin and
have already eaten it, so you can see the glimpses etc., but now I
am taking you on the further journey [music] . Friends , I have reached here
in about an hour, now it is taking a lot of time
, there is a lot of crowd, sometimes this happens, now only the first line is there, let's see how many more

It seems like only one counter is running. It's just that friends, it has become a big case,
they gave me t
he ticket of American Airlines but they said that not more than 200 passengers
can fly because some storm has come and due to the storm, less passengers will go,
so they did not give me the ticket or I. I will say that the seat was not reserved, I have put all of them
in the wallet list and handed over the Air India voucher, now after this whole case,
I am sitting here or I am standing here in the queue of Air India, now I am trying to check in in
Air India. Let's use the voucher we have receive
d and let's see the flight which
is of Air India, it is late by about two and a half hours, which was of American, so here also the
adventure has started, I will say, after standing in two lines, in three lines.
Now I have to go ahead, first hope fully, Air India will accept this voucher and I

Friends, I had to work very hard today, I am coming in at least four lines,
this has never happened before, this time for the first time It is a matter o
f fact that this much has already happened,
the flight has not started yet and it is a 14 hour flight till home and after that there
is a three hour drive. Already I will say that it has been four and a half hours,
three hours since I left home. Everyone should go through security check, immigration, standing in two lines, American
Airlines, then Air India, all this has happened. Finally, now talk to them a little at home
and console those people who are worried. You must have been wondering whe
re brother has gone but today

, the American flight is almost the last one. Which was 11:30
and now the Air India flight is at 1:30. Earlier in the night, I
had booked a car rental there in New York. I will have to manage it.
Now I go and sit or turn on WiFi and Then I change the booking I have, with
full hope that I will get a car there, o
therwise I will have to stay standard or make some other
arrangements to go. Friends, I have eaten what I wanted to eat. I was feeling very hungry. I went up to
the food court and ate there. Egg. I ate the roll today and thought this was the only thing left. This
time when I took a trip to Delhi, I had eaten everything else and tasted it
but this was the only thing left. Now about two more hours are left, it's only 11:30.
Now we have to wait for two more hours, only then the flight will take off
and then we will have to spend 14 hours somehow. I
hope you get some sleep, otherwise it is going to be a big problem. Sitting today,
the biggest consolation is that I got the car. I have got
the booking of the car which will take me from New York to my home.
It is an off-course cell drive rental, so I have to drive myself, but sometimes
the car is not available. Brother, at least there is a peace of mind that I will reach home mostly. This is what happens in American flights
that you have to g
o through the security check again before the final boarding,
so today I had to stand in another line, now after standing in that line,
I have to go through the final security check again, now I am sitting at the boarding gate. Now I
have the wait and I am continuing, I am feeling very sleepy, my eyes are closing, I
will have to wait because of the shop too. The good thing is that now maybe if I get sleep in the flight then
few hours will pass because most of the time. Mostly the screens etc. in
side Air India
are broken, so it becomes a bit difficult to pass the time, but
today I have got the experience of standing in a lot of queues. It has been almost an hour since I
left home and I am still in Delhi. I am sitting in the airport of Delhi
and waiting for the flight. Today I have stood in seven lines. Today there
is one more line left which will be the final line. Boarding has been announced so
boarding has started. Now the final eighth line. I am waiting in the boarding line,

finally the number has come, the call has come to

Finally friends, we have reached JF which is John F Kennedy Airport
in New York [Music]
It is almost 23 hours. I have already left the house and the house is still very far away, which
is the second house, the flight here was very hectic, this time
the waist band has played completely, the entertainment system which was there was also not working,
so there was something in the ear. Couldn't even sit so that one can sleep
and this time the seat was in such a way
that there were small children all around who were crying a lot, there
was a lot of noise so it became quite hectic, now I am feeling a lot of sleep, the immigration is done. I have picked up the bag,
now I am leaving from here, we will pick up the car and
then go further, my home is about 150 kilometers away from here, so there
is still a lot of driving to do, first let's take a rental and then move ahead.
If I start my journey

have to take the metro, which is called air train. Here, I will board the A train and first
go to the rental shop and then pick up the rental car from there and start the further drive.

have reached inside within 10 minutes. There is a place called Federal
where all the rental cars are available, so it is a big convenience here whether you
catch the bus, air train or metro. And we came straight to the rental car shops whe
rever
they were and picked up our car and went ahead, let's see
which car we have got, our car is parked in
row b3 , it looks like this b3 so Friends, this is your own car in which you
will go to your home. Now go back. Okay, so I have found sonata.com nearby where I
can drop it. So there is a pick and drop service. Drive your own car. There is also personal space
and sometimes you have to be separated from others. -You get to drive different types of cars which
you may want to test drive, you c
an get that for yourself
or you can get to know which car you should not buy. Because
when you test that car, you don't feel convenience, you
don't feel comfortable inside it or there are some features which you don't like, then that
too in a way gives you an advantage that you neglect. I don't want this
car, my house is about 5 kilometers from here, now

[music] Well, today in comparison , there is very less jam on
this road.
Otherwise, this 15 mile stretch is called the Belt Parkway, it
is almost completely jammed and as soon as you leave from here, the main highway
starts and you can assume whether it is 100 miles or 160 kilometers.

don't have to hit the brakes much, the traffic keeps moving smoothly, you

has been 25526 hours since you left the house and you have not reached th
e destination yet. So
that's why I took a break and had a coffee and a sandwich because I don't like the food
on the flight very much, so I ate something like curd etc. there
and apart from that I prefer to eat it after landing. If there is much, then for now
I have taken coffee and a sandwich so that the rest of the way can

after crossing New York and New Jersey, we have now reached Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania is a state in the US where my house is, so now
there is about 26 miles
left to go and it is showing 26 minutes, so in 26 minutes we will be at home and there
will be a son, the son has gone to school, the wife has gone to job. So it's going to feel lonely once I
enter the house , the son doesn't know,
it's a surprise for him that I am coming now, I am coming today only, he doesn't know, he knows
that I was coming exactly this week. It's going to be a very exciting moment,
I will try my best to record that moment and let's see

on is. I am also thinking about the second wife, although she
is at work but it's her lunch time. If it happens then go there and surprise her too
and capture the reactions of both of them and these moments and this whole trip which
I would call a journey from USA to India and then from there to Ladakh and then
back here to America. The journey of this entire trip is the first log and log series of mine.

There are about 10 kilometers left for home and I will reach home in
seven minutes. It is a very
bitter speed type feeling. You are leaving one house. You have come to another house, this
is the life of an immigrant. Friends, if I share this life of an immigrant, I will share a lot.
I can do this in such journeys or in some special episodes, I will definitely
keep sharing with you how the life of an immigrant is not that it is very simple, it
is very straight forward like that of general people. Sitting there , you feel
that if you have come to the US, you are l
iving an absolutely lavish life and the lifestyle
has completely changed. Here, India has its own challenges and India
has its own challenges, which means both the places have their own challenges. There are challenges and especially the
split in the family, that is the biggest challenge, I will say and you
have just seen that now there is a complete family, except my joint family, now
there is a nuclear family which is the son and the wife. Coming closer,
things here automatically get balanced,
you get something , you lose something
and similarly in India, you get some things, some things
are snatched away from you, so balance is maintained in life. The car has turned towards the street of my house,
I am going to reach my home in a few moments and friends, we have finally reached my home.
After a journey of almost 26 hours and 15 minutes, now I
have reached my home. Sweet home is what it is called, I rest and show
