oh I I I yeah I had a moment it's okay hi everybody uh if you're new here you'll find that that's just kind of the vibe you know we just kind of do that thing um welcome in everybody this is our standard account challenge um what we do is we bring on uh tarov creators from all over twitch and maybe hopefully YouTube and kick if we can figure out how to make that work too um bring them on interview them talk to them about like their past their projects the stuff they're excited about why they pl

ay tarov why they like to stream all that kind of stuff hopefully give you a better insight into who they are um and then we go and we set them loose on the tarov world uh mid wipe lately with how we've been doing it on a level one uh standard account uh yeah so without further Ado we're GNA bring luau in and we're GNA chat with him and uh we'll we'll get this started I'm really excited to talk with him uh I actually don't know Lua as well as uh Zay does so this is really exciting for me to get

to just kind of know him a little bit more as a person as a content creator which is like I said the goal here uh at the lotac challenge right we want to it's more than just a challenge we want to kind of showcase the the people that are uh participating right you're we're all together you know what I mean we're all a part of this community and we want to help make that Community great so let's uh let's bring them in and we're going to switch over now camera switched over Perfect all right luau

ight what kind of glass is that is that a brandy glass it's a no it's a glen glen Karen oh I see the bottom now yeah that's I don't think I've seen a glass that shape before was a glen can like what's the significance Glen Kar it's um so it's a very specific specific glass that is for drinking most whiskey it's shaped like that so that your nose doesn't because I mean a lot of whiskey is overproof so it keeps your nose out of the glass so you're not breathing alcohol fumes the entire time oh wow

yeah I didn't know I've always had it in like a or like a wide like Scotch glass like a rocks like glass rocks glass yeah yeah yeah I don't think I've ever seen it in a that like that hourglass kind of shaped glass yeah that's cool it's just one of the the different ones hell yeah hell yeah well for some of the people here that maybe don't know you from around the community they may not know uh who you are so that's one of the fun things that we get to do here is we get to introduce you to um o

ur community and a lot of people around that maybe don't know who you are so let's start there we we talked a little bit to kind of prep that um you're kind of one of the ogs from the black flag nation which we talked about a little bit when we had trap on um and I just kind of want to give you that as a springboard to just kind of introduce yourself and then uh we'll kind of jump in yeah so uh to to I'll actually just I want to clarify something so that the black flag nation actually predates m

e quite a bit so that's something that trap had started I don't think it had that name necessarily but it's something that he had started well before I came in okay um it was just when when him and I started linking up on that it started to take a little bit of a different life in the form of we started doing a couple giveaways and stuff like that before uh I wound up just kind of running out of time when it comes to to streaming and keeping up with uh you know life sure in general so sure yeah

I actually kind of wanted to talk to you a little bit about that you know we're we're kind of bringing you back to it here with the challenge you know um which is really exciting and humbling thank you so much for coming back to Twitch to content creation uh to to be a part of our challenge even if it's just for this it's [ __ ] dope it's just a night yeah yeah I kind of wanted to talk about that you know maybe something you wanted to jump into is kind of what pulled you away from streaming mayb

e more so than what got you into it um you know one of the things that I think a lot of people um lose sight of with streaming right is how much time it really does take and how much like um a lot of people think you just go live you play the game and that's it and there's really a lot more involved in the process and um absolutely sometimes we're forced to make decisions so I don't know if you wanted to touch on that you know maybe kind of talk about like what your journey with streaming has be

en and kind of where you stand on that yeah for sure so um for me there's there's like there's really probably like three different aspects to that test that question being able to answer that so uh the first one and kind of like the pillar and really this is for a lot of streamers they have to have and you have to have a a motivation that that brings you streaming right um so and there's a a reason that I'm in specifically the tarov community and the community that I'm in it's because a very he

avy veteran and this game attracts a lot of of veterans and and that kind of mentality and that camaraderie that a lot of us really are missing when we get out of service so that's kind of the first part of why I started streaming uh a large portion of it being you know around trap and I found him through um uh another stream in a like stream chain that's kind of weird how it originally happened but uh finding him I just kind of clicked into that that Community really well uh and was accepted im

mediately because it's that veteran kind of camaraderie so at that point uh it that's what actually inspired me to start streaming and then I started doing it and I had the time but it's like you said it's a Time investment so then the the reason that I started it was kind of to contribute to and develop that community and that group that tight-knit group online that you can kind of fall back on rely on um in absence of some of the the same mentalities that you'd get in service right sure and I

I found that I don't really have to stream to have that anymore like a lot of those guys we have phone numbers we talk all the time I go hunting with trap now so like him and I have been on two hunts with my brother back country elk hunt MH so this last year we did bow my uh my Ho's actually here in the corner it he's restrung because I I messed it up a little bit but yeah like we've done that now um what's the test on that b out of curiosity how how many pounds you pulling back it's a 70 pound

draw um nothing nothing too crazy with my draw length it comes out to 74 74 and a half that's that's crazy for me it goes up to 90 so it's not I'm not doing the vanity draw yet on it you know yeah that's that's nuts man I I think mine's set to a 55 on mine yeah mine's at 40 tops right now maybe it might be lower than that for for training yeah we only ever did Target hunting though we've never actually gone hunting hunting I've only ever done rifle with but yeah yeah Target that's a good Target

weight though you know like that's that's plenty for that'll take you all the way out to 6080 pretty easy yeah it's it's fun it's like one of the Hobbies it's one of those hobbies that we got like really really into bot bows we were doing like every weekend and then um I think it was really kind of like Co hit and then we just kind of stopped cuz we were going to a local range at the time we didn't have land or like a place to do it on our property um and so we would have to go to a local range

and you know everything got shut down with covid so yeah understood they have a nice 3D range or no no no no it was a basic old like Mom like the guy that ran it I think was like 70 two and in a wheelchair and it was like old school SP stuff though he had like Olympic like medals and all kinds of stuff all over the wall it was a cool spot cool God God knew his stuff yeah but that's one of the things that actually we' found with with twitch though kind of going back to what you were talking about

right is that like you know you know I know this but our viewers may not know this but you and trap you're relatively close to each other in the grand scheme of things but you're actually states away right you know multiple yeah there's a absolutely he's uh sorry he's a West coaster and I'm over here you know only a couple uh hours from the Atlantic you know he's he's less than an hour probably from the Pacific and I'm only a couple from the Atlantic so right yeah right and you know you end up

in this situation which I think is only you know made possible through places like twitch YouTube you know things like that that offer up a chance to foster a community right and then that Community just crosses I mean not just the state borders right but even across Nations right you know tons of people in the tarov community are from Canada right but even more so than that I think everywhere across the the world right um AB that's one of the things that it does allow us to do is it allows us t

o find kind of our people right without being restricted to just who happens to be nearby and then that can kind of take on a um something really amazing when you know we we go through the effort to say hey no actually let's like let's fly let's meet up somewhere whether that be a con or for elk hunt or for whatever that is right getting to meet you know in person and actually do things together and um I think that's something that's it's it's pretty amazing right yeah so happy that that was abl

e to transcend just an internet relationship for you right like it's it's turned into so much more um and that that's amazing that's that's what it's for well especially you know amongst the vener in community right having access to something like that that you know and then like you said you don't need to stream right it's not something that like oh only streamers are welcome or anything like that like camarad camaraderie and Community is the core goal of that group um and that's one of the thi

ngs that you know kind of Drew us to trap into that group and then that's how we met you and a lot of our other friends through that Community right is that you know even even for Katie and I are civilians right you know it's still a very welcoming group and it's just like hey let's go find the game and let's go have fun right so what have you been playing in the in the off time since you stopped streaming right and you're not beholden to just playing tarov and you actually get to play what you

want to play What's you're free what that so that was is another aspect of it too is uh I started playing on stream games that weren't tarov at the end of the day and I found that the group that I was streaming to is the same group that I'm streaming to in Discord when I go live in Discord right it's that same Core group that's always there so you know some people want to watch tarov but it's a lot of it's a lot of effort it's a lot of work like I I sat here for 45 minutes doing sound checks and

try to make sure everything's work and all the levels are correct before I I went live here I still had something that you know I was like 2 minutes late if you will going into this because I couldn't get it figured out in time so that's how it is pretty much I don't know I'd probably have to if I were to ever get back into it I'd have to get a more stable setup but uh that's how it is and how it was for me every time before I'd go live and and what's crazy is you have a tech background you act

ually work in the tech field so some of the stuff it's like okay right that makes sense you know XYZ is talking to this other thing and that that connection is not working like we you're kind of familiar with it something I think a lot of people miss too is a lot of people that are streaming like they don't have a career technology or something like that you know you know maybe they've been working on computers their whole life and they can get their way around it but like you know I've talked t

o like you know ratar about his stuff and he's like I'm just a dummy that clicks buttons on my computer he actually knows quite a bit right he jokes around about it but like that sentiment is kind of true sometimes like some of us are kind of fumbling around in the dark like well our mic's [ __ ] again I don't know dude I just I unplug it I plug back I mean it's kind of crazy the level of like competency that you you see with that yeah yeah the the crazy part for me is is honestly part of my iss

ue is probably because I have that Tech background because I'm able to do stuff a little bit more janky and maybe cut Corners that people would buy you know a stream deck and I'm doing virtual audio CA right right uh or buy a go XLR rather go X for that audio cables and it's it's yeah it adds in complexity we live and die by the software right very familiar very very familiar y yeah so yeah it's it it does add an extra level of like difficulty to the whole process right and then you know you pla

y a difficult game like tarov and then you add in the difficulty of like discoverability and things like that um you know I I think that it it can be and then it is just so timec consuming it's a it's a mentally difficult space to be in um and I think that that's one of the things that makes the Black Flag gaming group so amazing is that like that's the core value for you guys over there right the whole point is that we want to make sure that like it it's not like that right that you're having a

good time um absolutely yeah um I I know that you mentioned that you wanted to talk a little bit about um like you know your time in the military service you know I is there something that like I mean that that kind of came up right so talking about like the the veteran Community already right so I did serve and and it's kind of I have a mentality towards it that's similar to I don't know if you've seen and are familiar with but Matt best has a book out that's called thank you for my service an

d it's him effectively saying like he got to do go do all this cool stuff and the American taxpayer P right and it's what actually set him up for his entire life I'm I'm in the same boat um so I'm now a government contractor uh I have you know a clearance and I do cleared work and all of that is because of my six years of military service so I uh I joke that I was cool guy adjacent but I never really I had opportunities where I could have gone and done uh like Recon radio reconnaissance and then

marso and I know a lot of guys that went that route a couple guys that went and did task force stuff real quick can you say what can you explain what marso is just for our viewers yeah yeah so Maro is the Marine Corps uh Special Operation command gotta so it's like um it's wish.com it's the best way I describe it they I think they lost their credit ation as a special operations Force this last year and they they lose it and gain it back and lose it and gain it back so that's probably Spirit Air

lines of yeah yeah yeah there's some people that might be a little bit offended by that but this is coming from you know somebody that was around that community and those guys it doesn't take away from how badass the guys are it's more of a Marine Corps issue with keeping that a little bit little bit they still get their funding from Socom but soc's going to throw more funding over to so what was the route that you ended up taking through um through the military uh I kind of you know Bumble [ __

 ] my way through it uh for lack of a better term there I got a little bit lucky fantastic um in a lot of ways so the way that the Marine Corps works is it's you come in with certain contracts you don't like pick a job so those contracts lock you to certain jobs so I was originally supposed to come in as what it's called a Delta Charlie contract which is to be a crypto link and I would have absolutely hated that because their entire job is to sit there with headset on all day staring at a screen

translating foreign language right that's their entire job um and it's miserable I worked around a lot of them and none of them looked happy that sounds like it would be pretty terrible after a couple months absolutely not for me not built for that don't have that muscle so I tested high enough to do it because they do a Defense Language aptitude battery is what it's called daab and it's effectively a madeup language and you have to figure out the madeup language in this three-hour test to some

degree and they they measure your aptitude to learn a language really off that so I passed that with high enough that I could have done any language and then I had that on my contract and I had a recruiter switch out on me last minute and they decided to do something that was to if if you will screw me over like but it turned out the best thing for me which they switched me from that Delta Charlie to a Delta Delta which is General Intel within that general intelligence field there's you know ei

ght different jobs and I got the one that is an it related job that you do everything from satellite Communications to inline encryption devices firewalls servers networking devices that gave you an amazing Foundation yeah yes and then that training that training is priceless honestly so the clearance that training I got out and immediately started contract I didn't I haven't done College um I haven't done any sort of I've done some college I haven't finished my degree right so the typical it li

ke pathway is yeah you go get that degree you get some certifications you go work an entry level it job you work your way up from there I went from Marine Corps six years of experience straight in at Mid to entry level positions as a contractor and now I've taken that and really it's I'm now I'm leading not running but I'm leading uh multiple projects on a contract that my company has so that's part of the reason I don't stream going back to the earlier conversation is I'm just so busy just busy

all the time right yeah my cell phone's hooked in to like all of my my guys have my cell phone number and it'll be I'll get text at 8 o'clock at night because somebody needs something right so and that's I guess that's kind of what you were talking about though when you're saying that you feel like you need to say thank or that you you like to say thank you right cuz it sets you up it gave you skills um and kind of put you on a trajectory you know my my dad served in the Navy for 27 years and k

ind of same thing like the Navy put him on a trajectory where now he he just does contract work for the Navy doing the same thing that he did when he was enlisted and he just collects a double income so he gets his full 100% retirement and then he just he's doing the same exact work but with better control over where he lives in his hours right and he still gets to collect money on top of that so he's you know a lot of work and time but um he loves it right and and it's it's worked out well for

him so um like it's working out really well for you too yeah that's amazing happy yeah so no it's um sorry go ahead no no go ahead go ahead I don't want to cut you off I was gonna say it's definitely a uh it's a pathway if done correctly to success and a lot of the stuff that the military imparts on people too when you're looking at a a younger adult or what a lot of people would say is as a kid realistically like 18 right um I was deployed at 19 um in Afghanistan so that it matures you in a way

that I don't think you can get in a lot of other spaces and it'll take a lot of that it'll you just get given you know that that level of responsibility so it winds up changing your trajectory in life very very rapidly absolutely right absolutely I mean it would have to right well yeah I mean just the the level of training that you go through in the beginning is designed to to turn you into to something that the average person is not right um give you give you skills reactions right you know an

d it it does in a way kind of just change the way that you view kind of everything right and it sets you up with a certain level of like a baseline of skills right um kind of jumping from that right we know we talked about a little bit kind of that's kind of your earlier time right I imagine while you were in you know you you weren't playing tarov because that was uh presumably before tarov was even a thing right um that's a little weird to think about actually isn't it kind of odd sometimes I a

m coming up on 10 years out of college oh he did it soon and like that's a not cool number to to think about right why would you do that I didn't think about this until right now but I've actually been out longer now of the military than I was in yeah so yeah yeah kind of crazy right kind of from there though right take time to take a drink I feel that let me go grab water dude didn't know this man was going to be making me feel old live in front of everyone um I kind of want where so the brid t

o bridge the gap right we talked about kind of where you're at with the black flag nation group right with with trap and all of them and then tarov and kind of I wanted to kind of talk about did you did you find tarov first or did you find that community and that's kind of what brought you to tarov I just kind of curious kind of what your how that process or what that looked like for you so I found tarov first there's a uh YouTube channel that I've watched for years I watched it while I was in t

he Marine Corps called uh node and it's a sister Channel they own the same one it's cordor digital I don't know if you're familiar with them but they great VFX work if you're ever looking for something where you kind of they'll do breakdowns and stuff it's fantastic it ruins movies for you a little bit at the end but they have a gaming channel which is node and it's kind of that it almost the way it was designed is it's it makes you feel like you're a part of the group and it's a group of guys t

hat are doing like land parties and gaming together so it was an interesting almost like it pull you in but they played tarov and that's where I first got exposed to it and then from there to pesy then I started playing tarov uh I want to say late 2019 okay and um I actually the way that I wound up finding trap is so weird uh I had a motherboard cuz I don't want to go into a lot of detail on this cuz I've got some knowledge about how bsg's backend cheating Banning and detection works because of

this but ultimately I had a motherboard that flagged as all all motherboards of that one variety had the exact same Hardware ID and because somebody cheated with that motherboard everyone that had that motherboard showed as the same Hardware ID and got banned when CED mother Hardware Banning so because of that I found a group of other people that had that same issue in the same other board we tracked it which is um it's goat goat moth MH is who it who it was and uh we figured out that it was tha

t motherboard and related to that motherboard we got BSG to overturn the bands and then fix the issue so I was false banned because of that and then I got my accounts back and I was part of goats community and I I felt very tied to that at that point um just because he was really the and it's not even a bigger streamer but through his effort as being a little bit of a content creator at the time and it was before I did any content creation he was able to get a hold of some of the other ones that

are bigger in the community that had also received false pans like I want to say bake easy and then hyper rat were the two that reached out to their contacts at BSG and went hey these guys have some serious evidence that this is a false band you guys should look at it because BSG was completely right yeah so um it was a very much so in a lot of the the communities and I won't name any names but it was kind of like a gone cheater whenever I'm like hey I don't know what happened here it was one o

f those kind of it was a slap in the face because you're like I've never I hate cheaters I would never do that and I'm banned and everyone's immediately ostracizes you yeah I felt a corner cut it's a corner cut by the manufacturer their motherboard right that ends up costing you and right yeah yeah it was a gigabit Ethernet motherboard which is a cheaper pre-built but during the time I had to upgrade my system so I could actually play Labs because when I started tarov I didn't have a compter com

puter that could handle that you specifically spent money to do this and I bought a pre-built when graphics cards were outrageous so the pre-built cost was the same cost as it would have been if I would have bought it had a 2060 2060 TI maybe mhm anyway but the cost of that card at the time was $1,000 and the pre-built was $1,000 so I was like okay I can I can do this I can afford this because otherwise I would have had to spend you know yeah graphics cards were crazy fact during that time yeah

so it was the Co pandemic is probably like mid 2020 early 2021 time frame right so through goat though because I became so intertwined with his community I wound up finding actually Atomic and through Atomic I found trap and the first stream I was in where it was like goat rated Atomic Atomic rated trap type thing or atomic was playing with trap the first chat yeah I just immediately clicked and I uh haven't left him alone since you know his dism so he can't get rid of me now I feel that it's so

great when that happens though sometimes it's just it's about the the energy man sometime the vibe is just there right you don't explain it you you just feel it you know it right they know it right it's just there that's something I would say about trap trap's got a very like welcoming energy so I could definitely see that kind of like we had the same Vibe when we met up was like wow this this guy's a good guy right this is somebody that I'd want to be friends with and and have around right wel

l hell yeah man well I think it's time to to jump into this are you ready have you yeah man I'm ready have you shown off your spreadsheet I haven't shown it to anybody yet I haven't we can real quick should I show people yeah yeah you want to uh we can I would yeah I can go into that um so the spreadsheets broken down into three different sections here um really it's quest to complete by raid I'm G to pull you up my my browser things being a punk right now give me a second there we go you can sh

are it in Discord too if you'd like oh there we go okay boom so and then the video is being dumb hold on okay all right me know when you're ready there we go we're ready so it's broken down into three different sections here so these are the quests to complete oh no with uh uh oh no it's just you know oh wow this thing is it's always something this one's ours why is it no I'm looking at his on his stream his that is impressive wow so I've this is kind of I because I did this is part of the reaso

n I did that test run I am not going to be able to follow this because the amount of RNG that it relies on this is like a very optimized idealistic everything goes perfect everything goes perfect yeah and if everything goes perfect here you're looking at about level 11 uh is what the math comes out to maybe level 12 depending on how many kills and stuff like that I don't think it's possible I I'll say this I don't think it's going to be possible for anyone to do level 15 in three hours mathemati

cally um but I kind of scoured the quests and try to figure out the best Pathway to try to get the most XP and the key here for this strategy to work is you're looking at there's a 12,300 uh reward for shooter part one and there's a 12,400 reward for shooter part two yep and you actually unlock this swipe you get both of those at the same time you do yeah yes which means you could theoretically complete them in the same R mhm right that's tough it is tough but it's theoretically possible so to g

et to that though you have to get three iscas two cans of large beef stew and two instant noodles oo yeah that's a toughy so that's a Blocker on that so really that is and that was part of my test run is how many iscr can I get so what you're going to see from me and this is part two which is items I'm breaking down the items for the um you'll see there's Hideout stuff in here and if I can get The Hideout stuff early enough it is a 46 minute time to craft is and you can craft two of them you nee

d a small can of beef stew can of squash and two crackers which you can buy from therapist so there's going to be a few things that you'll notice that I'm going to do like before I even jump into a raid I'm going to buy the max number of crackers that I can from therapist and there's a couple reasons for that one is the iscra the other is for the trade if I wind up getting far enough to do you and it's not on here I don't think no it's not so if I can't get my iscas in time I might pivot and go

for delivery from the past and there's a trade for that key that requires four crackers you can only buy three per reset from therapist so I'm going to buy them early so I can make sure I can hit that reset and buy them later if need be so there's going to be a few things like that um the other thing too and it's not on here sadly is there's a few items that I'm going to be really looking for to try to get armors for and this is this comes from I played quite a bit of Hardcore so this kind of co

mes from that mentality where you have to do a lot of barters but the bars early on are really the only way to get gear now because you don't have access to a lot of yeah yep so then this third section right here is the actual raid plan by raid so these are what I'm trying to get these are get out criteria if you will so if I get you know I want to eliminate the five hostiles for the task get the hard drive etc etc I won't read all this to you sure but it's got the list for this is raid one and

then how long I think it's going to take me to do that and then this is impressive I'm I'm Blown Away by the level of preparation here I'm excited it's not it's not going to go anything like this to be clear like my test run but like I mean we all know that I've seen people pull three SAS in one raid right you know like you can you can absolutely I mean RNG is it's part of what's baked into this challenge right it's part of tarov it's just what comes along you I mean uh ratar almost got uh kille

r seven on one of his rates I did see that yeah like like I mean it's like you never know what's going to happen he was level three I think when he ran into those guys and he had he had a MAG full of 7 and 40 and he managed to kill three people with that steal m700 kill another guy right like so but yeah a little bit less Chad gameplay really what this is at the end of the day is this is me trying to compete with ratar and trap who are better mechanically at the game than I am so I need every Ad

vantage I can and the way that I I can come up with that and and make up for that is through stuff like this well that's why we wanted to try to set like a goal that's kind of allows for those different types of play Styles right like you know um you can manage to get a lot of um like yeah XP through a lot of different strategies right yeah right yeah last week R tried to hit streets and just go kabon hunt right and had that turned out well for him he could have smashed all of our our expectatio

ns right for the top level of this um and so it's really interesting to see the different strategies that everybody's come out with right trap just said he came out and said you know [ __ ] it I'm just going to be myself I'm just going to roll I'm gonna play tarov like I play tarov all the time right tra trap just said he had to have a test run to maybe beat me he's already talking [ __ ] here in chat bro I love it dude he's coming out swing absolutely the case though right he said a high bar to

be honest bar he did really solid run he had um good PVP and then honestly he would have been a lot higher without two of those deaths two of his deaths were really really painful and I think he could have hit Level 10 with the run that he had he had a really really strong run so really really tough performance to be the RNG was there for him he was dropping you know two to three pmc's per raid I think he only died what twice like ral's first two raids he lived for a while died to player scabs

but both of them he never saw a single PMC right it wasn't even that he didn't even like he never even had a chance to have an engagement it's just the RNG was there for trap that night you know what I mean like it it has to be there you have to be on it right so many factors come into a good tarov session right that's what makes this challenge so interesting right but that's what you face every day when you play tarov right you know not all of us are playing on private servers all the time in f

act most of us aren't that's few and far in between and so these are the the factors that you deal with every single day um you know ideally on a week night we're dealing with less of the the weekend Gamers but you know they're still there you know what I mean you still got the sweaty Gamers out there just shoot I love it thank you so much for the for the free advertisement hell yeah all right you going bear or you sick I'm going bear he's going bear I can explain there's actually a reason for t

hat for this challenge so the bear has in their in uh kit iscra lunchbox so if you can complete acquaintance you can actually get the quest to do the iscra and water bottle drop off okay so that's one less piece that you have to account for on like if you have to find three iscas and then an additional two potentially on a USC and it's a little bit of a stretch to make it to that point but if I did I'd want to have the iscr on hand yeah that makes sense and you have no intention of going to loot

ys start with in four minutes we'll give it a second very strong for ground zero because of rate of fire the 30 round mags PST on Ground Zero thank for the dude one of the things starting late in a WIP uh is kind of difficult for a lot of people because you wind up facing some boys that are you know a little little thick you you got to go against the thickums so going against other people on Ground Zero with that are Level 20 and below is much easier than jumping in on something like streets or

Customs where yeah it is an interesting Dynamic right that absolutely we've got the lower level Q which is not something that I think a lot of people really ever expected to see in tarov right tarov is generally pretty forgiving in that respect well it is very helpful for stuff like this though for sure yeah you talked about the the hidden MMR a little bit last week uh during um sorry my brain just run a little bit about that like how do you think that applies specifically like with ground zero

right because there's already uh a level cap on gr zero do you think that there's also a hidden MMR being applied to these as well I think so but I think because the level cap they're going to mostly coincide if that makes sense right like people that are a little bit newer to the game are probably not going to have quite as much uh of that MMR and I don't I just have a vague Theory I was talking to trap about it um it might be gear score based in a way kind of like they do on um on Arena okay n

ow so I don't know how they're doing it I've just noticed that it is when I do hardcore there's there's something about it where it feels considerably easier okay that's interesting I you guys are the first people I've ever heard mention that why I wanted to dig a little bit more on what your opinion was in the like I understand it's just speculation and we don't know this for sure so Chad please keep that in mind none of this is for for fact we don't know for sure if that's a thing um it's just

something that both trap and LU have noticed right um for LU on his own hardcore account but trap actually made a note of it when he did his challenge um that it it felt like he was running into newer players more often right um which makes sense when you're on ground zero um but bral kind of had that sense as well when he was on streets right um it still felt like he was running into maybe newish players right they may have had the level or they may have had the gear but they may not have had

the map sense or uh more like tarov knowledge right just healing things like that uh Corners that you should check all that good stuff I could definitely see it applying to like a point and then because it definitely feels like after a certain point the lobbies are just like open because I I'll I'll play you know and I'll I'll go into a Lobby that's a a fivan juicer stack and then there's a naked man running around with a V right oh yeah dud I get I get rinsed every rid no matter what so like I

you know more more just saying that like I think if if anything like that system does exist in the game there's definitely like a point whether it be flea or level 20 or something where you kind of you move out of that I think just that system probably just no longer tries to count for you at all and it just throws you into stuff because like I think after you hit a certain skill or not skill but like stash value gear level whatever right like i' I've had some raids where it like it feels like t

he entire raid is people who are brand new to the game I I mean I've done raids before where I've killed like five people under level 10 and I'm just like what the [ __ ] is this Customs raid like why are these people here right like why did I get match with these guys and then you turn around and you're like oh okay this is a a trio of level 60s that I've been hunting Killa since the dawn of time and like I never stood a chance right right right right right that's why that's why I saying it was

an interesting Theory to me because it's definitely not something that I've noticed but I also typically don't play solo um you know I play I usually play with you uh and I'm slower to the wipe right and so it's it's kind of harder for me to notice things like that um but yeah I get rinse no matter what all right Lu walk us through uh where you're at what what yeah walk us through it thought process wise I actually am going to sell the splints I hate splints because if it's just a broken bone u

h you can walk on it PK it's just something else that I have to carry and worry about so I Marine mentality rub some dirt in it noted so I will run for this I will run po pocket PKS so I can quickly pan kill I need to if I get a broken bone in a fight and I have to run on it okay um I do want an extra AI too just in case I take some additional damage it's been you go through the chees quick yeah yep and then the uh SM Mark I will run two SM Mark I like to run three just in case those heavy bleed

s happen light bleeds if I get one especially a map like Ground Zero I will ai2 and run out so a single light bleed stops fine um the S marks are the most critical and the AI tws are really the most critical there medwise uh the fuel in case I go for The Hideout okay mhm um what you thred yeah so I've got uh an extra 50 rounds of PST for the pp19 5,000 in case I can catch the car extract on the first raid I've messed up a couple times in the test run that's one of the big things I got to the car

extract realized I didn't have money because I died the raid previous that one hurt pretty good CU I had to come back in and take all that loading time and really I think the key to this is minimizing time in your stash after that first raid after right so this is where you want to preload as much as time in raid is where you earn XP you can't earn XP while you're chilling in your stash so um I've got kits preloaded here I actually need to load mag here but I've got so what I'm planning is I'm

G to wind up taking Woods I'm going to take the ak74 theoretically second raid should be Woods maybe third raid depending on how it goes right um and then on Ground Zero I'm going to be running the pp19 uh a few items that I'm gonna be looking for just off the bat here for trades we're going to be looking for not this but this is actually something that's critical after I do one of the first prer quests uh debut after you do debut you can buy the suppressed ak74u which is in my my plan for this

because running no suppressed weapons you're going to wind up getting mobbed by scavs so if you're trying to task there's you're just going to be fighting scavs the entire time and draw the last patch actually they react to sound now yeah yeah absolutely so run and suppressed after that is going to be a key I think helpful and this right here because you can't get access to to level three armor um the propane's going to be big uh for the armor train it is only one per reset so you know I got a l

ittle bit of some bad RNG timing wise on that reset because prepper got a three-hour reset so I'm probably not I'm going to only see one of these but that's okay um the other armor that we're looking at well not armor so bag we're looking at this right here which is hard drive so I'm going to be specifically grabbing a couple of those so I have a couple extra bags I've already got you know three deaths worth of bags but having a fourth one at least is really key uh this hard drive I'm G to wind

up going for two hard drives so I can do the shotgun turn in for uh gunsmith part one and do this trade for the rail this man brain dude H yeah on it all right and then right here is your other class three armor max energies are fairly common on uh Ground Zero so I'm going to be trying to pick those up in order to grab this as a class three as well I don't expect to find a and then you know every every scab every PMC potential kill is is one less thing you to look for armor too yeah absolutely y

ep and then I forgot es lamps for grenades because grenades are super powerful to get people to move off positions to give yourself a sound distraction so that you can effectively self flank right as a solo so getting a couple of these is going to be I think big I'll be looking to those up as well hell yeah man I love it I'm excited here I'm just going to load some mags here for the Woods Run toss one in a gun and then I'll be good to go all right this is always where I like double triple check

and it it's one of those things where I have to make sure I've got it everything before I go in so all right go all right where are you hoping to spawn what's like ideal spawn here that's the other thing too right you know RNG is always a factor you you never know where you're going to end up when you load into the map I almost ensured there as a habit but not back we saw both trap and R almost like accidentally Ure stuff as I will absolutely do it at this point um spawn wise on the map it doesn

't really matter the map's actually really small here it the biggest thing is e you just got to watch the spawns there's a couple spawns where you're effectively staring at people off spawn it's kind of like the lighthouse spawns on crack yeah yeah well it's too small of a map for how many spawns are on it to be completely honest but that that's a common t problem I think yeah yeah I think it's like 12 it's alleviated slightly by the fact that there's less players trying to play it than there we

re at the start of the wi I think start of the wipe this place is a mad house oh dude it was crazy it was crazy right now I don't think it's quite as bad as it as it was so we'll see if I uh eat those words here in a minute but so overall are we a fan of ground zero or cool cool cool cool I love it I'll be uh I'll be talking at a couple points throughout out here there's some spawns that I've caught this is one of my primary scav Maps I usually scav between we'll say 700 and a m value out of gro

und zero um there's a lot of the like lower tier is Tech items that are going from 15K to all the way up to like 40K a slot so I'll pick those up here I'll fill a bag on a scav and I'll I'll run out and doing that I think has shown me and I found a lot of the like kind of weird bonds that get left alone for different it I was actually just about to say that I think that would is going to make you are most like like confident on this map in terms of like where stuff is right I think both both tra

p and Ral you know playing stard to wipe I did this as well it was like three raids to get everything on that map done and then I left and I never went back unless somebody else needed to go there right like yeah yeah the coming back and now you can't right which I almost feel like I don't know I I wish BSG would do something to where you could go Sherpa and help people come back to the map even though you're higher than level 20 but it's I I don't know how you would accomplish that you know I I

think people would just abuse it you know make it so you can't take any loot out almost like a scab but you're scabbing in with a PMC and make it so that all the loot that you have on you is dead at the end something that I just so you can go help people because that's one of the issues i' I've seen a lot recently people go hey I came late to wipe I have no idea what I'm doing on this map and I'm like well I can't really help good luck yeah see that's really tough though because of the the the

gear difference right you would have to restrict it gear as well like certain calibers can't be run on that map certain tier armor can't be run on that map um things have I think the same problem if you could load in right with the lower tiered que right I I just I would see people abuse it right I could see people jumping in to just like hit highlight reels by Farm ing like lower level accounts by you know jumping out of Windows and [ __ ] oh yeah just doing crazy man I wish wish it wasn't so t

oxic in tarov but yeah I think you're right and it's like one of the unfortunate things with like competitive games where there's a PVP element is you have to like you have to think about those types of things people will abuse the system people will try to do things outside of what's normal or like expected in order to you know beat the system so all right buddy good luck on your raid we're gonna we'll be watching got this thank you thank you we're gonna we'll be watching thank you thank you so

eeds for therapist from the gecko with the spreadsheet with the strategy this man has the biggest most wrinkliest brain right now stay in here is a little bit sketchy long term we want to move in move out I do think it would be nice if was it like a shpa program designed specifically for Ground Zero but I agree that you can't just so now we're going to cut over this back way down here I like that Lu basically had a plan no matter where he's at on the map of like what his like Lu is approaching t

his the way that people approach the tournaments which is just [ __ ] awesome want be a little bit careful of some pmc's doing some of that these stairs back here people sit in these bushes and watch for people to run down below Fringe is kind of big that hex is actually a decent grip one of my pistol GPS I do love how he's telling everybody what he's doing when he's doing like it's it's pretty great that's the thing right is like the mind of the the challenge like the Challenger right like wher

e where so we're going to be what things are they focusing on right is a chance for iscas on them so as many as we can hit it's just going to increase that chance to force some RNG I'm hoping that he gets some good RNG with some of the like I want I want his plan to work I want to see what can happen [Laughter] right always the r is going to run into somebody that's maybe new map that one of the higher spawns for iscas is actually on this dead guy right I'm kind of uh we're going to cross the fi

en so POG oh it would have been last wipe right there would have been huge you want to do this now it's fun Guru Le Zay speed is 10 seconds ahead of me again I hate it need to be a separate queue if someone's past 20 can go with him but won't be locked down if people below 20 I think that's what happens so I think if like if if I was to load up with somebody that's level below level 20 we would just get put into the normal queue and so it would be more difficult for um for the homies Now Noodles

spawn pretty gur our main requirement is is to stream yeah you will have to stream and set up a Twitch account play that to stream in order to participate here looks like I'm going to get different spawns there's one oh there's some noodles that's huge that no way already found one dude that's pretty big oh he's found two he just got all both of his noodles ra one that's huge that was not an easy find that's huge I love it the plan is coming together he got the double nudes out the gate chat do

his too so there's a scab right here this is a flare extract actually for green flare and the scav typically has one on it and that'll be something that I'm actually gonna take ammo out for nope never mind um we're gonna hold on to that though yeah it's got 100% spawn on that scav behind you I wish I knew how to fix that chat does anybody know how to fix a delay like it's not on his on Lu's side he is not purposely doing it but for some reason I'm consistently 10 minutes or Not Sorry 10 seconds

lly big part of um of tarov is just you need to know like loose spawns and then like kind of what the loot table for each map is and where you can expect certain things to show up that's a big big part of it really I'm trying to push some these dead bodies here just for the isra chance mhm yeah and that tracks those of you who remember week one I have gots out of here which is one of those things that if trap got a pretty easy kill on a player up here interesting that a lot of those crates were

already empty so there's a down there in that area that had the mines that's a player spawn so it looks like a player spawned here and has already looted these that would make sense now all right he's on his way underneath chat it's his next goal suitcase is effectively a d in this game they count the same we're going to check he doesn't seem to be playing very cautiously right now I will say that he seems to be kind of going into scav mode if that makes sense right you can definitely tell that

he scavs this map a lot MH yeah he's just kind of zooming around looting stuff out in the open all it's going to take is one person to spot him and it's over never know this is a risk for sure right here this is RNG oh he's running up I thought he was going to go down down this is also an additional risk there's some uh I've pulled guns I think this is the first loot Goblin we've really seen trap didn't loot too much you can climb in the back of this thing dude crazy yeah look at all this loot t

aware and sending it and just kind of being a space cadet and Goblin around like I do I say like I cuz sometimes I'll be W keying but I don't W key like they W key like I don't know how door that been kicked in like they W with purpose I W key with my forehead you know that only gets kicked in by players too so this is probably already looted yeah yeah knew I had a player go underneath that's a little bit disconcerting there's not a whole lot of people that typically know about that we're we're

going to be a little bit more cautious through here he how have you been by the way it's good to see you no worries well so what happened there is that was a locked door that can get kicked in and so it's open yeah so but now that he's got that info that someone you know we already knew just from him hitting some loot stuff that someone was kind of hitting the same route now we know for sure someone's been down here the thing that I'm trying to keep in mind on this is uh at a 30 minute this is

a 50-minute RAID timer max if you stay in past about the 25 minute Mark you're going to start running player scavs and a lot of player scavs are going to come in spawn in at this point because of scab Karma bu the kids have more Ked than I am how are the kiddos how's everyone doing I hope everyone's doing well Val that for the value that for the value grabing some things just for money yep yep we get lucky with some relays right here really what we're looking for I think the shots that we're hea

's got two coming from two different directions Terr group shooting at each other yeah it's over by terror group yeah I would like to get a hard drive out we might it was hard to tell while he was spinning in the stairwell once you got out of the stairwell you could tell it's coming um from that side of the map so it's like that courtyard in front where scabs like to spawn sounds like someone's getting in a fight out there that makes sense right there where the underground goes up underneath man

organizing this coming out of this raid is going to be a based on Low's spawn he can move to the next building kind of same direction he's moving if he comes out here to his left he's got running yep someone's in the building here with them he going to come out not swinging I love it EMC is making his way down the road this could be a really easy clean up for Lu oh he didn't see the guy kept going fighting where I wanted to go originally so we're going to circle back and go hit that machine gun

uh that's up here oh he's yeah he's going to snake in behind him which means that that should be and go into the bank and he was fighting a player I think he fighting scavs though so should be safe to move up into that and go for the quest he's going to try and get the got Jesus Christ oh Chad that scared me he had a rat and came out on top I'm so impressed with him right now Jesus Christ that's a good armor for him too actually that's an upgrade on the armor upgrade on the helmet that's a dub

yeah um it's uh it's it was a tough call to drop that um but I think and honestly it was probably a mistake looking back on it because I can buy I remember previous wipes they used to have a limited two but in my test run looking back at it now you used to be you can buy more than two per reset of the MP 133 shotguns so you can you can buy three now but again requires you have so um I think Jagger is it's really as soon as I get through the task here for mechanic I'm heading to Woods for Jagger

so yeah yeah yeah it's it's a given on the timeline I'd have to have some really bad uh raids to not get to that point so it was probably a mistake not to take the UMP honestly but it's not something that's going to hurt me really too bad in the long run right I don't think no I got faith I think you're going to you're going to continue on this trajectory it was a very good first raid that usually sets you up like mentally with a lot of confidence I know you know for me first raid of the night

ed up and taken a better angle on that but I was already trapped and really my best bet was to get him coming up the stairs yeah I knew he was GNA wait until I I pushed back and that's exactly what he did so I knew it was going to happen there and I I just misplayed on the yeah he just swung a little harder I think than maybe like you expected ready he end up further out so well I was also fully in the doorway and I should have been taken a little bit of a tighter angle and and hold a little bit

tighter yeah I think he just you know he knew you were there was anticipating you like you were anticipating him and just kind of caught you out a little bit Yeah Yeah y know and the glass the glass is what really got I would have known I would have just mag dumped through it right oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you had them lined up um so but we were talking you know before you went Def and that you know those those raids happen you know those happen and it's actually it's less painful when it ha

ppens that early in the raid because you didn't really you know you got credit for your gun so you don't actually have to go back there and now you can just focus on the other tasks and you didn't lose that much time the death are always painful and a a tight timed challenge right but sometimes like if you're going to die it's better to die right off the rip right right oh absolutely um what I'm curious about and I don't know for sure is if I got I actually got credit for that gun and it carries

without the extract it does so it does okay I didn't you touched it yeah it it'll it'll carry for that one it does for um the scientist one you have to do it all in one raid if you like do it at of order that that gets a little funky about with the scientist one you need to touch the bodies first um so if you go and touch the scientist himself and get the key card and go upstairs it's going to it'll mess it up you actually have to go touch the USC bodies that are down in the garage first then t

he scientist body for the key card then go upstairs if you do it out of order uh you the hard drive will still be there but the tracking will get messed up interesting so I didn't actually have that issue in the test run um and I definitely did it scientist body then upstairs hard drive then USC bodies in the garage yeah we we've seen two people now I think run into that issue I have yeah trap ran into it and then it still ended up working out as he extracted I think his was because he came thro

ugh the window rather than coming through the door that could be it too yeah yeah but I don't know it does it definitely uh seems like it gets a little weird and then I had an issue early wipe where well not really an issue a bug I guess where I was able to get um Quest complete on the car extract without being in an online oh you told us about that yeah you were doing some Recon in an offline mode and you just extracted and accounted yeah that's pretty funny yeah the game's Esports ready and pe

rfect in every way it's fantastic I don't know what any of you were talking about so there is a spawn across here which is probably where that guy came from this last time all right buddy uh I think our feeds a little bit we had some stutters from you earlier and I think it's caused our Fe to get just a little behind you so we're still watching you wait for players but good luck and and we'll be right behind you crap I do remember it worked out in the end but like you you it was screwed up there

ned do you just like see finish his total XP was around 4500 trap 45,000 45,000 okay trap ended at 46,47 XP yeah I thought he was 46 I ended my test run at 43 so I missed it by three were you able to get through tarov shooter on your test run no I couldn't find it I never made it out with an iscra and I never made it out with all of so that's part of why you were so adamant to getting out there is that's huge yes so knowing just how hard it was to get those in the test run finding that iscra is

a get out criteria for me effectively on almost any R especially when I don't have armor my surviv lower because of yeah makes sense yeah I noticed that you you started to play a lot more cautiously as soon as you noticed you weren't wearing armor uh yeah I uh maybe I'm playing a little bit over aggressive to a degree um I've tried to turn trap into a Labs M the past couple days so that's all I've been running so got the labs energy going through your yeah the problem is is I've been dying a lot

on labs and I've had to do some self-examination and look at why I'm dying and it's because of the same reason I died up top I I took the whole doorway instead of taking a tighter angle so yeah it's one of those things that I'm trying to focus on for my my gameplay and improving in the long run for PVP yeah I that makes sense I think that the pitfall I fall into myself a lot of times full doorway instead of taking a angle I love the [ __ ] I mean you're told so much swing or be swung and in tar

ov right and you know peer's advantage and take advantage of the desync but what no one says is you know you don't have to swing the whole doorway you can swing a shoulder Peak on the doorway yeah and then own that angle and then once you own the angle you're safer to step out and it's all about making decisions that give you like as much of an advantage as you can right and sometimes sometimes that's a wide far swing and sometimes that's that's holding tight on the corner right so that you're r

eady to react and um yeah that's why like you know moving on someone else's movement can be such a strong play in this game because you can catch people out not they're not expecting you to be right or you know get them at an angle where they're a little bit more exposed than they expected to be for sure for sure so uh plan for this raid is I really need to get into terror group and complete that mechanic so I can go get introduction and uh start working on Jagger that's nuts Luc yeah Terror gro

so we're not running that gun um yeah that AK would did not want to play nice no no and I should have known better I didn't do any testing with it but I know Iron Sights and this is what I was just saying a second ago iron sights in this game are used as a pivot point for their recoil and I think it pivots it off the rear sight if I remember correctly so it makes it kind of difficult when you have irons um because the pivot point so far back that it makes the recoil appear higher and makes it a

little bit more difficult that would make a lot of sense honestly because I severely struggle with iron sights in in that game um like to a degree that I did I don't understand um and and that that could actually kind of click a little bit in my brain um and it could make a difference knowing that it's um it used to be the meta a while ago starting out that you would get sks's and You' remove the rear sight um from the SKS because it would wind up reducing The Recoil and actually helping aim con

sider better y I'm of the old school tactics yeah some of that old school stuff like I know the point fire right um You HIIT fire is is still the most accurate right is going to fire Center the screen most of the time um but yeah that's probably what I should have been doing there but it didn't what I didn't realized I thought I was dying to a scab I died to a scab there which was a little bit frustrating but it's not the case they're assassins swipe it was actually a player that got him it was

actually a player that got me yeah so I heard the pop in my right ear coming up from the ramp okay yeah and I think he's what actually got me I got a head ears so um he swung around heard me fighting the scav and then wound up TA because I was scavs so and I kind of knew when I heard that pop that I needed to push through and those scavs slowed me down enough he could catch up so I knew I was in a tight spot there um the safer play would have been to back out and then go through the underground

into to the lobby of that hotel that has the liquor store on it yeah and circle the back of the map come up those stairs in near emercom and then clear that whole side out towards that but I was trying to go for Speed and took it a little bit little bit fast and and paid for it yeah you kind of got caught out by a scav army you know what I mean you got the one and then the other spawned right on top of you and then the player caught you so which is the danger of running loud yeah so yeah well it

was something that we saw a lot with uh AR's run a lot of the deaths that he had during his run were situations where he was engaging in one fight and because he had to run loud just because of the nature of the challenge he ended up attracting other people and the longer that fight goes on the long the more likely you're end up you end up getting pinched right and that's a lot of the times that he died it was because he ended up pinched between scavs and a player or two different groups of pla

yers right absolutely yep I think one of the keys to avoid that for me is going to be getting debut done which is is going to unlock the ability for I think it's like 8K to buy a suppressed AKs 74 that would be a huge upgrade yeah I'm probably going to buy it take the suppressor off and throw it on one of the akms sorry ak74m I'm running here so I can have a site too well and you get the benefit of like suppressors in this game reduce recoil so it makes the pop less l a thing and then it also ju

st makes you quieter so it's easier to to sneak around absolutely I'm going to have to do introduction in woods though more than likely to get that so it's one of those I need to do this mechanic Quest and get in the terror group to get to introduction unlocked so I can go that way well and this is just a tough task like you know RNG the way that it's designed it's a choke cold it's a oneway in right like you end up there's a lot of places where like the chance of Engagement is High um and then

just the way that tarov works right like those those are a lot of times just 50/50s yeah I might stop going night I think that uh I'm seeing a little bit higher level higher tier if you will player at night um I might start swing in some of the day raids which is what I did the majority of my test run as um I feel more comfortable at night because that's where I do the majority of my scaving but that's fair I've noticed the last couple raids that I've been getting I've been getting punished a li

ttle bit more for for some of my mistakes yeah and some of my a little bit looser play just in the sake of time yeah but all right I'm not too mad right now uh you know the salt is the big one if I could just get that I wouldn't be mad about losing a kit I still have enough money to keep going on this uh for a while I'm sitting at like 400k so that's a couple kits at least uh one of the big issues right now too is uh this is my last decent Siz bag so I need to get some hard drives out for the tr

ade as well so that's really kind of the main two uh sub objectives if you will for this this run uh in addition addition to the actual Quest objectives of of extracting via car ter right that makes sense yeah hell yeah good luck on I Haven seen a single propane either so that's been one of the ones that's that is another tough one and you hit a lot of the spawns where they would be they you just haven't been seeing them absolutely U so the test run I wound up running into three or four in that

that period so it's just it's RNG and I think the loot tables I've had a theory for a while that they rotate um oh yeah um I actually I actually know from talking to um a Dev that has talked with BSG devs that um the maps have like a 2hour or so rotation on their loot tables and so when you when you like say you spawn into a raid and you see a GPU or you see a ltic you might be in the middle of that two-hour window like there's no way to know like when that started happening versus and when it's

going to end but in like the kind of rolling 2hour chunk there's like you're you are more likely to find those things as you load into raids because it's something that's kind of getting spawned that's good to know so your your theory is not totally off base like the back end does have a little bit of a rotating loot table for each map um and then it pulls from that to spawn loot for individual raids right so it's not a guarantee but it is kind of how their back end Works y so I actually had th

e the theory that I had come up with from you know playing so many wipes was that it was two we rotation and that's kind of what it had felt like but if it's a 2hour rotation and you know like the the loot to get let's say gas ANS is one of you know six or one of 12 it might be two weeks before I see that again and that's why I assumed it was two weeks so that makes a lot of sense actually that's a really good yeah so something that I do whenever I'm running a raid if I ever find a high value lo

ot item like a leex or a GPU I try to stay in the raid cuz that means it's in the loot table and then there's proba probably more than one on the map mhm yeah I I've noticed like it feels like some things is also based off of like your unique player ID as well right um because just based off how random works right in programming I think a lot of stuff might be triggered off of that that's a theory I've had for a while I think that our player IDs get used as the seed for randomizing the loot tabl

e and so I think that's why yeah that's streamer loot yeah I think that's why each wi like people kind of have a thing that they tend to find a lot of right like right like last swipe I used to find a Bitcoin like almost every raid that I was in it was insane and then this wipe I haven't been finding them as much right like and I'm still looking in all the same places you know um it just seems like each wipe you tend to have an item that's kind of like your is like your item it's like almost alw

ays in a raid right right yep so we got a spawn this time all right good luck buddy jokes no no sarcasm so I love it all right good luck good luck this delay on the stream chat is a bummer where he's going in and then we're having to wait like two minutes before like we get to see his actual gameplay it is kind of a bumble twoh hour rotation explains why you get goodly top hour let his hour goes on you find everything that's not valuable yeah it's like basically the game uses like a rotating loo

t table and then it each raid it pulls from that and spawns a subset of it for that raid so it's like there's no you can't really guarantee when you're going find loot but if you are finding good stuff on a map it it would be smart to run it for the next hour or so to try to get more of that good loot until it feels like you're kind of falling out of that luck mode right right Lu actually did get a very good spawn for this because of where he spawned out in that parking lot there's a good chance

that there's a player in the building in the building or spawned on the other side of it by the car right on this time no jokes no no sarcasm so no sarcasm see how far behind the yeah it's pretty bad I don't understand why definitely something to look into so I can try to refresh it but what I think it is is his OBS got overloaded when we were having the stuttering problems M and instead of just jumping to live his OBS is trying to maintain that delay that makes sense so that you don't miss any

is kind of not how turov works most of the time right you get that you get that perfect raid like one out of 10 Yeah It's just tough cuz he keeps ending up in situations where he's not able to to like get the car right yeah right so he's only been able to do one Quest like ideally he would have gotten like two or three of these on in one raid but he's only been able to do like one task per raid so it's costing him a lot of time well he's keep he keeps having to make the decision of of pushing a

a certain uh engagement where he is at a disadvantage or going the long way around and extracting in a place that he didn't want to extract right so he's choosing that survive over probably death right cuz these these people have had the drop on them when the deaths are punishing yeah you know he just got 3K experience on that had he died he would have walked out with 100 you know what I mean it's so punishing to die in this game that he's having to make he get a third one there yeah he got two

people in that doorway yeah I didn't realize that the third one was him killing and I thought it was two people engaging and he cleaned it up I missed that he actually got that first kill yeah maybe it was somebody in the garage like he he did just say something about the garage I thought that was a scy of the garage but maybe it was a player but when I watched the the engagement of of the doorway it looked like he got that first guy in the back and when he came up on the second one he got the

second guy um but exact explanation of all the rag bro on Ground Zero yo dude hey nice work nice work sorry the feed for us is just a little behind so uh no worries no worries at all nice raid dude that was good good kills on those guys they were they were they were talking quite a lot of smack well he was trying to cover up the his his boy movements is what I think it was yeah um which you can usually tell if somebody's chirping a lot and trying to get you to talk back it's usually for that rea

son so I kind of suspected I didn't realize there was three up until I saw the guy standing watching for them gotcha as yeah that's T right you don't always get to choose St yeah I'm glad you caught him out there on the ledge I was I was like sitting here going man I really hope he catches this guy out of the ledge I really hope he does and then he forehead pushes towards the ledge and he just rinsed him like yes I was a little worried because I was considering there for a minute jumping off the

side pking and going to car yeah but one of them was out front there for a minute watching that and fired I fired a couple shots at him and then he backed off so I knew that I had to get I had to get them pushed off somehow wasn't bad no it was a fantastic engagement definitely caught him out off guard even though they had the advantage of knowing exactly where you were uh I think you kind of caught him out with some map knowledge right they knew the ledge was there but maybe didn't hear you I'

m not quite sure um to be honest with you how they got caught out I think that player didn't know that it was there and he pieced it together a little too late I think is what happened I think he was watching the door door was locked wasn't quite sure how Lu got in there right heard blue jump up onto the the window sill and then put it together like oh [ __ ] and was running into the room to try to stop it and blue just swung on him yeah just too late that makes sense I mean yes there was uh the

re was a little bit of planning that went into that for sure there was a reason that I decided to take that key and not utilize it oh was huge through the window it gave you a lot of safety and let you control like a situation where normally you'd be pinched yeah and with three of them with me trapped in that room there there would have been probably nothing I could have done about it you know yeah they would they would have just like alternated peeking you until you had to reload and then you w

ould have just got swarmed mhm or they' be Hing nades through that doorway you know I mean oh yeah um absolutely so now I get to go uh woods and try to go for Jagger's note so we've uh we've moved onck I'm still the issue that I'm running into now is I'm having a hard time finding salt um and that's the last major piece for those iscas so wow trap how much time do am I at right now you have an hour and 16 minutes left so I'm running up on even just getting the iscis done because uh it's a 46 min

hind where I'd want to be TimeWise on this uh the couple of deaths on Ground Zero set me back so just a little bit I'd say I mean level five at just over the halfway point I think you're making a really solid Pace right you're still in very much in contention with with trap score right the I think the key is going to be if I can pull salt quickly on this and get the iscr crafted will I have enough time to get one raid to try to for tarov shooter because if I just complete one of those and get a

quick extract huge at that point yeah uh the problem is there it's over 40 meter kills so there's only really one good map early on to go for for that in my opinion which is Woods I tried on different Maps throughout other wipes but it's so much more diff it's tough I think I prefer Shoreline for that but it's it's the same principle right it's it's a long sight line wooded map right the issue I have with Shoreline is usually I run into some uh some thicker people on Shoreline just because yeah

you know especially if you're rocking a Mosen with no sight because you're trying to do one and two at the same time yeah um it's not as he it's not as dense I I am loading in right now actually so okay good luck buddy all right thank you I'm trying to solve see if I can find a way for him to force his stream to like catch up can't figure it out it's so far behind now which is a huge bummer Customs Customs is pretty good for that one I like Shoreline for turkey shooter you guys because of the sn

iper scabs some easy long distance they're they're painted against their like you silhouetted against the Horizon which helps a lot is dense I audio a second here go chat 30 seconds behind it's more than 30 seconds it's like almost a minute all right chat we we migrated the woods and salt in the fob but I just think that uh because of how readily pushed it is I think I'll wind up getting caught in a fight that we PR decent push the his goal and then uh get out honestly yeah he's got really nothi

ng else to do that unlocks the ability to debut um with a hard drive that'll unlock the ability for me to go ahead and complete gunsmith part one yeah I just don't get them they don't spawn as consistently on Customs for me all three sniper scav spawn points or like four there's like four total um I find out like I get I get like you know two to four snipers for scab is every Shoreline raid as long as you're the first one to get there you know from these rocks it's just it's an untenable positio

n it's so much open ground around it it's because of the like Woods is is deceptive for the longdistance scab kills because there's so many trees and stuff like that you make it tough without the Optics a lot of things that I do in this game I do almost I agree that with Customs as well I have a hard time with the distance on Customs just because like with iron sights it's a lot of the the noise how many times died spot type deal you know with the gear and it's hard to calculate all that and tak

e every you got a person in front of yeah no shot there's a PMC or a scab out here no it's a PMC oh what [ __ ] way someone else got him the buddy got him yeah was there a second one oh dude you you had the second one second one there yeah the second one got me so yeah not much I can do about that you know yep it's tough there's just there's another spawn right there down at the end m61 Jesus yep uh took the time took the time to go back and double check what level he was because I was curious s

o a little bit of time loss but yeah hey you know like we were saying earlier better to be early on right then to lose 25 minutes and still have to go back through the note yeah absolutely problem is I didn't account for this many deaths in the the planning you know um well you know obviously when we plan we're going to win every raid yeah D I'm so good in my planning no I planned for at least two deaths realistically three but I didn't buy enough meds here carry me so now I'm having to never fi

rst on shorelines slow buy and take the time to try to set everything back up and that's you know that's costly time it's time lost yep yep stop this is what Ral was running into as well not something I hit in uh my test run but you know things don't always go as planned that is tarov right well I mean it just kind of shows like how much thought goes into this right like you can you can try to plan for every veritable and you're still not going to you know what I mean like there's so much comple

xity to this game and how it can be played right that it's the variability to me is insane it's one of the really exciting things about this challenge right you came in with a spreadsheet right Ralph came in ready to swing on streets right trap just came in super casual right I I it's so interesting to me I'm really excited to see what some of the other competitors are going to come in and what their strategies are going to be absolutely me too honestly uh I think realistically coming in at the

position that I am like going third here I have the benefit of of watching two really good competitors and and players you know go before me and their strategies and and trap was a a more Quest focused but not solely Quest focused right strategy right and then you had a Ral that was going for the the big boss kill PVP big raids 40 you know because you can do a 45k XP raid absolutely 100% yeah so um seeing those strategies I I definitely benefited from being able to see how those played out and u

h then kind of formulating my strategy based off how I playabilities around absolutely yeah yeah you build around your strength right I want to see somebody take the loot route I really do I want to see somebody just like looking for high tier loot every raid right they're going to be a loot Goblin they're trying to get as much loot XP as possible like on top of quests and stuff like that you know what I mean would be I mean there's an argument that's almost what I'm doing I'm just not going to

the the high tier locations right yeah yeah um but no I've been I've been trying to when I have and I feel semi- safe pull loot in and then discard it for the extra XP right I've noticed you do that yep it's it's just it's a tough habit because I'm not in it normally I don't really care to Mid Max that much in normal tarov play so it's something spefic for me right right so really what happened there too is didn't think I got that first guy and I stood still a little bit too long and the the sec

ond guy was easily easily able to line up the shot yeah yeah I didn't think you had gotten that first guy either on your initial burst uh but yeah nice pen through the through the bus stop there I actually don't know if I penned him up through the bus stop or if I dropped him on the initial you got him on the first burst yeah okay I'd have to I'd have to rewatch and slow it down and uh eventually I'll I'll have that question and I'll I'll go back and check it but ultimately either way it didn't

really matter I just I Stood Still too long and he had had a second there so the thing then that would require us by other guy I don't I don't know exactly but that's probably a Duo situation there's not really another player spawn around there that would put that guy close enough to third party I don't think I'm trying to think because there is come down from Eastern rocks over yeah the one right below sniper scaff that like sniper Rock maybe maybe but that's that's a pretty hard push and a wei

rd angle it's a push that I would make if I were pushing for player kills with a bolty though because you got a lot of open sight lines there and you know that there's more than likely a spawn right there and then you can swing down to fob and and push that so that might be what it is but I think you're right I think it's probably a Duo yeah just how quickly I mean you were shooting loud so anybody nearby is going to know where to look but just kind of like how rapidly he he retaliated on you ri

ut 16 15 16k uh experience under him estimated so even if I have three more raids like that at 6K I'm still I'm still missing the mark But like I said it was a uh he he set a high bar to try really did he really really did yeah he was close to level nine on his run absolutely like he was well through like level eight so really a couple those woods deaths looking back on it is what really set me back hard yeah which that's always a possibility but yeah especially with the early account that no si

lencer no real optic like this is a tough map yeah but then the the counteraction like the way that I counter that or try to counter that is by taking pathing that puts me in dead ground players aren't going where I I don't there's not long sight lines on me the problem is is to navigate that you're zigzagging across the losing a lot of time yeah yeah so you can't take that straight path so it's it's a trade-off and then dying after taking some of the the more indirect pathing really cost you ev

en more yeah some so it's a it's a risk reward that's awesome killing people in Arena with and tarov just come down to that risk reward calculation absolutely so much of it does yeah and it's like we were saying the whole night right it's and a lot of it just comes down to RNG right like that fight would have been very different had those dudes loaded in with real kits right oh very much so right and so it's like you know all the variables can come in and you know make or break this particular r

un especially you know it's tough cuz we talked about like do we do four hours do we do two hours like what's the sweet spot for this Challenge and we wanted to make it not so long that like people don't want to do it right like hey I need five hours of your day in order to do this thing and people are like oh well that's a lot right but at the same time you know three hours is a tight window there's not a lot of room for mistakes yeah it's yeah um sorry go ahead I was just going to say it's rig

ht on the cusp of when you start to get fatigued I think right both mentally right and just kind of physically even from just being in your chair for for three hours straight I think that's that's right on the the edge of it absolutely um what I will say is I think a little bit longer would allow specifically the strategy that I'm using to take some of that RNG out right and Factor some of it out um but I think that three is very good uh time wise for sure when it gets just tight enough right be

cause it makes those deaths punishing um I think at because at the end of the day right the goal is to survive your raid you you make your money you earn your XP you beat your quest when you live um and that the time I think makes those deaths really mean something and I think we've seen that in traps gameplay and R's gameplay and your game play like decisions that on a normal account where you have a little bit more longevity and you're thinking more long term right and you and you have some ro

free to load into a ground zero and everything no big deal and if you stay in there and it hits midnight while you're still in you've got like a 10-minute buffer kind of just try to make your way out and then if if you come in here and you get a bunch of kills you end up extracting or you die or whatever you know we just load up a factory right gotcha um how do you want to handle any Quest items I have if I make it past that midnight buffer uh if you've got Quest items and you extract you can tu

lot on this map but you just unlucky right the loose spawns haven't been in cms's for you yeah it's just that loot cycle got home you're gonna hop out all right Huffy have a good night good night good night um if you guys didn't know the shadow might know this you brought it up Mass Effect actually did that so this is final raid this will be final raid unless you die right and you got kind of got that five six minutes left then you can load a factory you know you got two or three minutes or what

ever we've been letting people run that it'll just be you know you got that 10-minute grace period try to keep it tight um but but yeah if something ends up happening to you in these next couple minutes and you manage to Kit up before they end you just jump into the factory raid so that means I might actually play this one just a little bit slower I've been pushing pretty hard off spawn you just your greatest and most dangerous idea run it try see I they did that in Mass Effect when you run in t

he first Mass Effect you're actually not moving any faster to get me caught up I don't think it will be honestly I mean every little bit's going to help and it'll what at the very least it's going to push you up so it'll be harder for someone to take second from you right yeah so I'll be solidly in second place with the Trap having permanent bragging rights yeah you know I can tell you're so excited about that that's the main consideration for my entire uh gameplay tonight actually did you reall

y sub we're going to bring our magic decks I'm bringing I think I'm bringing my sliver deck and then Katie's bringing her enchantments deck yeah you're bringing slivers what a dick well it was that or the Ren and Siri and you said you didn't want me to bring Ren and Siri okay yeah timer the other two decks I don't like as much the spear the the fairies one and then the um Pirates one and then I haven't played the pl Walker de to know how much time I lose SL deck is so [ __ ] mean throughout this

it'd be a harder one to track but it would be fun to keep track of that just like how much time was lost to the the weight times yeah we haven't really baked in like a buffer for match the CU buug mhm something that we should should probably think about like you know kind of like they do in soccer how they give like extra time right right yeah absolutely for a minute there I was a little bit worried that I was on one of them because I was waiting for players at like almost six minutes yeah once

you get to the waiting for players you're good um I've had it before where it puts me at that and locks me at it for like 30 minutes and then I that's crazy I have to alt f4 um and then I'm actually standing in raid or I'm already dead in raid had that happened a couple times already this wipe and it made me a little bit nervous yeah that would be really really unfortunate to run into during something like this yeah that's not cool it's something that we would definitely account for for sure it

's hard to account for though realistically because it it almost feels unfair matter what you do right because it's you got off but I think it would be one of those where we would like add five minutes onto the timer you know what I mean like the time lost right because like the raid time that's part of tarov but the time loss from the time that you had to Al alt f4 restart your game relog in all of that time is abnormal time and I think that's where we would account and add more time to the end

yeah absolutely yeah I'm in now so uh I'll catch you guys at the end here good luck good luck yeah the kit loss would be tough too for sure twist and there's no way to account for that right we just don't have access to any sort of tooling to try to like rewind that in any way shape or form um but chat what the story we were trying to get out the shadow reminded us of we were being bad hosts and not paying attention to luau um is that Mass Effect actually did that placebo effect for the game uh

where in Mass Effect you people like in their during their testing BioWare noticed that people were complaining that like they didn't have an option to Sprint or anything like that and that like they they couldn't move faster and they wanted a way to move faster but the devs didn't actually have that functionality in or it wasn't something they wanted to add and so what they ended up just doing was for the sprint button it just does a camera effect where the camera zooms out a little bit and ge

ts a little bit of a shake to it and some like speed lines and you actually don't change speeds at all it's just it's just 100% a camera effect to trick you into thinking that you're going faster but you're actually not yeah animation discussion people don't play certain characters in games like Apex because slower ring animations if characters run at the same speed yeah no it's it's definitely a thing T in there's a good spawn for him to catch a few people out and take some different pathing th

an I have previously here I do want to make it just had a big sub bomb huh my extract I think we just green flare extract and we count on that look at that number dropping the 25 Subs with a champion love that scab just took a shot at him I think that seemed to be working pretty well for us or there was something else on the left I don't know what that was kind of peek see if I can't catch someone out on if you can catch somebody making these runs that' be huge yeah he's only got 5 minutes befor

e the timer officially hit zero so I do think this will be last raid for him yeah yeah if he whatever engagement by the time it develops and then I don't think he'll have time to Reit a little bit rer than I'd like to just going to put him in at a solid second place really solid second place hi Veronica how are you good to see you almost like I'm going too hard and uh the heart rate's a little bit too high so I'm starting to make some mistakes off that so it down might not be bad kind of hoping

for some scaff spawns here it's okay good to see you ideally he'd catch a player here I would love to see him honestly catch a three men little group of timmies or something magnified Optics would have been nice um getting across here too might have look at that IRL lean into the monitor right trying to trying to dip see if he can see between the gap between those slots yeah let me get a there's no [Laughter] way this is the quietest raid he's had all night yeah FPS for heart rate and FPS came c

an match people actual isn't that wild especially with the game like sound like tarov where you actually got the bullets and everything I load into an offline like what the [ __ ] is my my brother doesn't like to play this game um actually because of that it's too realistic for him does have movement can be able to make that shot character G you feel like they're easier to see or get hit F the characters in IEX do have different Siz hit boxes stuff right this is I think this just the wrong POS I

think he should have tried to push to terror group I just don't trust the mrss like the uh yeah he doesn't have the sight for this the dot right he's got yeah he's got a red dot and it's not a great red dot yeah it's literally it's the Walter it's the level one scope and I'm still shooting loud so that's still a potential issue if I give away on position without securing kills here s is fine skill trap trap you're holding on to first place tonight buddy I love it I love the amount of confidence

this is giving you as well the [ __ ] talking is real and I love it helps you with exposure treatment for your p yeah Shadow for some people it's it like exposure treatment's the right path and it's good that things like this exist and for some people it just definitely is not the right move right yeah it's the opposite effect it it triggers them in ways that they're not ready to handle operator error trap out here bird and his boyfriend down for the bottle Lu's doing it to [Laughter] you it's

ut of the way right yeah yeah like that that raid would have been perfect to hit the guns do the terror group get out a car just try to skirt around all the the people standing still that's that RNG effect coming into play again right just like it's tough it's tough absolutely yeah great effort man 46% survive rate 3.86 KD how many pmc's did you get tonight I think you got a few let me scroll down here I did get a few six or so I think yeah more than that 12 USC two bears so 14 oh wow you beat t

rap for PMC kills you only got 13 you did okay so you beat him in the number of PMC wind up with r end up with 10 his first three raids he didn't run into a single player and they were long raids six in one raid and then he got six in one raid and then he had a few more throughout the night but yeah yeah you only ended up with 10 how many scavs probably not a lot I don't think you were dropping that many uh 13 13 yeah so least amount of scavs amongst the crew uh trap had 25 R had 43 scabs yeah i

' I'd say just from my observations which you know take that with a grain of salt uh that is a big difference between yours and traps runs specifically trap I think had a lot more scavs that he was dropping in between his runs yeah double and 25 year 13 yeah you guys had similar PMC kills but his scav kills definitely outshined chat said fur I think he got a little bit further in the the quest too yeah so he had how many quests you have completed sure be operational so you'll need to go to um ta

sks I think and then I think there's a checkbox for it right so I have one operational that's the dailies I might have done two yeah but I think I know for a fact I did at least one of those yeah da trap total had 10 tasks completed where is that at think might had to go through and tally it from all of the Traders from the show completed screen okay yeah we can do that we can do that afterwards but yeah and I I'll have you go through and take some screenshots for me as well and then we'll Absol

ut we'll tally up some of those but um but yeah dude great effort um some solid raids great PVP um honestly it was just awesome getting to hear the way that you think about the game and the way that like you navigate through these Maps right it was it was super interesting being able to hear that and you narrated it very well you know I actually wanted to compliment you on that we don't see a lot of streamers that are that articulate at just narrating everything that they're doing all the time t

his is what I'm thinking this is what I'm doing and then doing it so thank you for that that made our jobs a lot easier yeah I uh I appreciate that it's um it stems a little bit from part of honestly part of the reason that I I enjoyed the content creation side is uh I had prior to doing any content creation at all i' had done a lot of Sherpa work in Sherpa Ing and running new players through like if you give them like this is what I'm thinking this is why I'm doing what I'm doing and you just k

ind of narrate your thoughts and and what you're paying attention to it it makes it a lot easier yeah absolutely absolutely a habit from that yeah no it's good and it's one of the things that sets like good content creators apart I think is that ability you know not everybody needs to do the narration but I think it's a skill that like a lot of really good content creators have is like talking through their thought process narrating I think it's really easy especially in a game like tarov to get

like locked in on what you're doing and be so laser focused that like you stop like interacting and telling people like kind of what's going on and like even in the middle of firefights you're narrating through like I got to heal this heavy bleed and I got to deal with this because I don't want to lose my head right you just got done killing three people you're a chicken nugget you're running away from the fourth guy and you're still letting chat know like this is what I'm thinking here's what

I'm going through and like that's a skill um and it makes like watching the firefights and watching your progression through the maps a lot more enjoyable because there's l guess work um and we even get to like think about like some of the the things you've done right or wrong in the moment and then to hear you confirm that back to us that like that's the same thing that you're thinking is really really fun to watch yeah well I mean hopefully uh if if anything people can learn a little bit from

you know watching and then you can see my mistakes I'm not like I said coming into this mechanically I am not as good as r or trap mechanically at the game so one of the things where I I get to make up for that a little bit is uh map knowledge so there's maps that I'm really poor at and my surviv rate tanks out just because I don't have that map knowledge yet and I force myself to go learn it quite as intimately right yeah that's I use offline a lot for that which I know you do to some extent as

well because we were talking earlier about how you were doing a Recon and you you ended up getting the car extract on the new map um but yeah that's that's a lot of what I do to kind of ease that discomfort of not knowing where I am like not not knowing where to go not knowing where the loot might be um offline has helped me a ton with that yeah yeah definitely for this new map that's uh that's how I learned it and that's a good portion of the reason that there are quite a few flanks when you l

earn this map um it it feels like you can get locked into places and you for sure can there's a few spots where you can get really locked in right but once you have that map knowledge you realize there's there's usually quite a few rotations and ways out of stuff so uh one of the things that I I hate on this map is going down the middle of the street and I noticed players do that but there's a lot of in that underground you can rotate through come up in different buildings and then and then move

through the buildings yeah yeah that that underground area is huge especially with loot as well I think it it goes miss a lot of times both for movement and for loot right it's it's one of those like hidden secrets of the map yeah I've talked to people that didn't even know it was there you had no idea it was a section you could get to well I mean one of the things too is uh there's not a lot of guides out on that map yet and then the majority of people that are are running it they run it you k

now about as many raids as I ran tonight you know get the wine bottle and they never look at it again so it's one of those that I think learning and spending a little bit of time on is going to pay dividends for anyone that does at the start of next white yeah especially like I think the one of the things that you know trap did well is that he completed a lot of those tasks on Ground Zero very quickly and so he didn't get stuck there so to speak from the tasking perspective he was able to move o

n to stuff that he can do on multiple Maps you know he was able to do search mission he was able to do the uh like work towards the pocket watch I think he actually finished the pocket watch on his run I want to say he did get pocket watch I think that was like the furthest he made it in the quest line right and so that's huge getting through a lot of those tasks because you know like you were showing in your chart when you're looking at it you know some of those tasks reward you with 12K XP and

your best raid where you killed multiple pmc's got Loot and extracted was uh 4,500 XP rate right yeah yeah it was a big rade yeah so unless you're chasing bosses it's really like tasking is is definitely the way to right or or I think getting the the that scav kill count up above 10 right so you get into those bonus XP numbers yeah yeah yeah the breakdown on that I wound up looking that up for this I've got it pulled up right now um it's interesting how a lot of this breaks down on the mathemat

ical side too you know the modif survived is a percentage based it's a it's a 50 I think it's a 1.5 times boost right for 1.3 1.3 yeah so so every extra point right matters so racking up those scab kills you know getting two or three pmc's um finding a little bit of loot like it all really does matter in the end and that's something that you know you were running into as well is you knew what loot you wanted and you knew where to find it you just you weren't finding it you know you weren't findi

ng those propane tanks and some of the other things that you mentioned at the very beginning that you really wanted to find you know you weren't able to find the squash that you wanted in order to make the iscas and or even the salt to get there right um you knew where it all was it was just RNG coming into play again and and like really affecting the trajectory of your run yeah yeah absolutely uh there's a few that I think you could probably mid Max a little bit harder that I just didn't think

about like breaching a door gives 20 XP does it really so I haven't done any testing that's what the wiki says so I haven't done any testing on that that's one of the things that I really should have paid a little bit more attention to and tested is you could just walk up and kick doors constantly right interesting something I thought about yeah someone constantly unloading and reloading to get reload XP someone you know kicking doors someone constantly searching someone that uh what's another t

hing you can do to kind of span or spam XP a little bit I mean you could like jump off of stuff to give yourself spr or like breaks to heal a few silly things you could do right yeah yeah um I'll say the head shot are a big one too so I'd be curious uh how trap and I compare on head shots so I've got that one I can pull this yeah so trap trap had 27 head shot Ral had 46 head shots yeah wow and I wound up with 23 23 yeah so so you were the you were the closest to 100% um headshot to kill ratio ye

ah it's uh I I make the joke that it's always one Taps you know may use an entire mag but I end it with the one tap it's the one tap though only one hit him so it's a one tap right yeah it still counts yeah the only one that mattered so now that you've run through you know you've watched both episodes both run throughs you know now you've run it yourself what's kind of your your opinion on the The Challenge what do you think I I really enjoyed it uh yeah it was a it's a fun format um it gives me

it gave me like planning for it and doing a lot of that I mean the the Excel spreadsheet that I sent you guys over I think I name it tarov speedrun yeah it actually gives me very much so A speedrun vibe like you know people that have certain uh time hacks that they're making for like you know doing a Mario 64 right uh 10 star speedrun right yeah so like those kind of it it feels like that and that's a very interesting I haven't seen that in tarov before it it feels a little bit different kind o

f cool um yeah my our thought process when we did it was kind of like a Time attack right where we kind of like we give you a certain amount of time to hit a thing and just see how many points you can score up in that time limit right um and I think in a weird way tarov kind of really lended itself to that format yeah I think like you know originally the leaderboard you know we were thinking like you know just like that like times on a Time attack right you know when you you're in a race car or

something like that right best time on the track wins that was kind of the original like leader board that we saw and we're like oh we could how do we adapt that how do we adapt that yeah yeah that's where we ended up with on XP because I think like it it opens up these different play Styles where you know you know Ral went heavy PVP and you went with like a really focused like task and looting strategy and you ended up beating Ral right um and I think that's something that's really amazing abou

t um tarov in general is at a lot of play Strat you know we were talking to some people in chat where you know they've been playing for a long time they enjoy the game and they don't have that many PMC kills right but they got a [ __ ] ton of scab kills and they they still keep coming back and so that's something that tarov does um you know we talk about the Giga Chads all the time right and that's they're at the top of twitch and everything but really you know there are a lot of play styles tha

t are viable and you can still have a really like good time playing I mean we've seen three different play Styles already right um I'm really really excited to see how many more variations of this we've seen we haven't seen somebody rat yet right we we haven't seen somebody successfully go the the straight um PMC let's fight PVP route right there's there's still quite a number of different ways I mean those are just the two off the top of my head that this this challenge could be played um and I

'm really really really excited to see the different styles that come out of this yeah yeah yeah honestly if uh somebody were pushing PVP PMC I almost think just going Ground Zero back to back not really worrying about the quest until you've killed your you know gotten player seven on that map I think would actually be a viable strategy in my opinion just because the it kind of feels like you're you're almost Pub stomping right a little bit yeah yeah so there's there's I think there's room for t

hat and then I've got it pulled up here you're you're looking at like a Killa kill's 2,000 experience right and there's a a head shot multiplier for that or uh sanitar 2700 So like boss kills and even if you just get uh looking at like col's uh or kab's guards their followers 450 yeah 450 and 300 right so that's yeah absolutely there's a definitely that stack up really quickly for sure and that was that was a strategy that Ral was aiming for at the beginning of his run and he ended up having to

Pivot was go in get kaban kill a bunch of guards looted kit from one of the guards yeah right and then be Juiced up start pushing PVP keep fighting the um the bosses so that's why that RNG really really starts to come into play right because you have those B those boss spond rates which Speaking of which we really should be keeping track of what the boss spawn rate was for each of these runs right especially when we do come into the the first contestant that does run into the boss and is able to

kill them right I think that's something that the the viewers are going to want to know is what the spawn rate was for them versus the other competitors yeah yeah we'll have to see they're higher I uh I think I had Sturman on one of those woods runs I was on I didn't uh see any latency but uh I wasn't planning on pushing it I didn't you know it could have also been the goons that's true and that's actually kind of scary I didn't think about but if you look at their XP as well man like you know

that's that's like that's like six to 7K XP if you drop the the right massive yeah bird eyes 21 big pipes 21 and then uh Knights 23 yeah yeah you're almost 7K right and then if you get out plus the gear that you're going to get off of that right you know there's easy an AK raid there's still a lot of room I think for someone to to to kind of Skyrocket past trap and I think at the end the day we are going to see that that PVP and surviving I think are always going to be baked into a strategy that

succeeds and it's always what's going to be the most interesting to me is as we see the leaderboard develop and all the play Styles come through is like what is the right mixture of those things that makes it work right yeah um is is a full PVP style the only thing that matters is there a way that you can work in the tasks in a way that opens up for a little bit more of like a push through right getting to level five a lot faster or something like that you know it's I I I I really do enjoy watc

hing the routes that people take and and like what kind of strategies and planning they have that they bring to the table um I think uh one of the issues that I see just long term with a a PVP only strategy is you're dependent on the gear that you get off of other players that they're bringing in right so you have to kill somebody that's going to be Ked because just running unsuppressed is it's pretty punishing it is oh yeah that dinnerbell effect really to get a surp ressor for the AK you have

to do uh debut for right so you have to get those one 133 shotguns so that's tough you could potentially yeah I just trying to look here I guess you could go suppress pistol PB for scav kills to try to keep it down um but that's rough like if I have to fight a player with a PB pistol yeah yeah that's that's uh that's less than ideal for sure right and then there's always like you know you could log in and your first scav could have something on him that you want to do and so maybe the first one

you load in you run the scav on Factory and you get out with the kit so that you can run like a silenced weapon like a ker or something like that that's right ready to go right out the wp you know yeah we haven't really seen anybody take advantage of a of a scav kit yet I had considered that too because that scav had a a decent uh it's a pretty big mag and then yeah or like they could have the armor on them right get the right yeah so like honestly he's probably got better ammo than we have acce

ss to ini with PS ammo yeah so it'll be interesting to see just the different strategies over time you know we've been looking at that too like how many scabs did they run nobody's chosen to run one yet yeah it's tough because there needs to be enough reward for it because you're giving up the XP gain for however long you're in and the time right it's it's a double whammy to to run a scav but yeah if if it's worth it then then it's definitely something that I can see a player doing right it's yo

u know we could have somebody load up and their first scavs got the SV 98 with the Flur on it yeah you know for some reason Nikita decided to bless the Timmy you know right right yeah it'd be incredible yeah Doo wants us to yell at you for not checking all the bodies yep yeah you had lots of scabs that could have had your shotguns uh or or your or your paper armor uh for that matter um you had quite a few bodies you didn't check but I I understand why you didn't I mean I wouldn't say there's lot

s of scabs I think uh looking at stats right I wound up actually killing and fighting more pmc's than I did scavs I thought you had PMC kills 13 scav kills y wow so yep I definitely passed some up but it's uh I think it most of the time it was a situation where it was uh I had I had items or Quest goals that I was trying to get out and I I wasn't trying to stick around yeah yeah we were talking about that how like you know the need for those survives and then to push through those quests is like
