I really like that Hira doesn't forgive Orhun because she feels guilty that Orhun got shot, but reads the letter tomorrow, and finally feels like Orhun understands what the whole Cihangir incident meant to her, how it totally shattered her, and how much trauma she is still dealing with. I’m very glad that the writers didn’t choose to immediately have Hira and Orhun get back together. In Season 1, Hira would have immediately forgiven Orhun but they show her to be much stronger now. Hira and Orhun obviously have deep love and care for each other but Hira’s reluctance to be back with Orhun was absolutely valid. I thought the kidnapping plot was so unnecessary and long drawn out, but I’m glad it wasn't the silver to have the leads get back together. I'm hoping we get to see Orhun's self-reflection in the letter and that he is willing to reflect and do the messy, everyday, emotional work that it takes to really make a relationship work.
