Hi everyone! Welcome back to our channel! Today we react to "Geography Now! India". India is a country we would like to visit very much, Chiara has always wanted to go there Francesca read a book about India and she fell in love with it! So we are curious to know this country better! There is sure to be a lot of information! - So he's talking about some territories in India which are independent? - I think he is talking about some semi-independent states, as Trentino Alto Adige and Sardinia are
here in Italy ... I think we will have to watch the video about China after this! - These are among the most interesting places to see, the "wonders" of the country, the particular places ... - These are beautiful places! - Indian architectures have always fascinated me, especially the temples, with their sinuous statues and geometric decorations - How beautiful this is! - This looks like a typical Indian architecture to me! I don't know much about it, but if I had to imagine it, I'd imagine it
like this! - To me it almost looks like Arab architecture! - It says that this place feeds hundreds of thousands of people every day! - For real?? - it is a temple where there is a kind of soup kitchen ... but there are many hundreds of thousands of people! - Wow !! How nice it would be to take a hike to get there! This place is beautiful! - This kind of places is just what I like most to visit in a country! Obviously after the beaches ... First of all the beaches! And then I am very fond of thi
s kind of attractions - I am curious to know if he will talk about the stepwells They are huge wells dug deep, with many stairs - Like the one we saw in Orvieto? - Ah, St. Patrick's Well! No, that's different, stepwells are not "vertical", they are rather like giant funnels, they almost look like cities - What are they used for? - For water! And they are beautiful because they have many stairs and are very decorated, they almost look like temples ... I'm really curious to see if he will talk abo
ut it! How wonderful!! It's like Mecca! - Wow! The most haunted place in India! - How beautiful this is!! - In India there are many vegetarians - It is now known that one of the biggest causes of pollution is intensive farming I have read that if the Indian population ate the same amount of meat as we Westerners, the impact on the environment would be devastating - In India, beef is not eaten, because it's sacred. In non-Western countries, a bit poorer, cow meat is not eaten, but I am not sure i
f it is for a cultural reason or if it is for the high cost. Among other things, the cow is the animal that pollutes the most compared to all the others: for example, chicken and pig (which are the most eaten animals in the world with the cow) pollute much less. In oriental dishes most of the meat is chicken or pork - it's true, it's almost never beef. Beef is terrible for the environment Fortunately they have this culture and there are many vegetarians! - Indeed, fortunately for the world! - In
Italy we don't have all these Indian foods! - I have never seen this one that he showed! Here we know the chicken curry ... and ... that's it! I have only eaten once in an Indian restaurant, and I really enjoyed I am very curious about the fact that they use a lot of special spices - I would love to try it again! - I have proposed many times to eat in an Indian restaurant! But we still haven't been able to go there! When we go we'll tell you what we liked and what we didn't - I'm just afraid it
's too spicy! - Spicy food is the only thing I'm not afraid of! Maybe you can write us in the comments which are the little spicy foods so I will know which ones to take! We don't know any of these dishes! - I know they have special rules on currency exchange within the country, I read it in the book about India - They can't be taken out of the country I thought there was only Bollywood! - He is really crazy! Really good! - He gives a lot of information! - Who knows how much he studies before ma
king a video - Even all these technical data, information on relations with foreign countries, etc., he studies a lot - It was interesting to see this video, I didn't know many things - If you want to write us which Indian singer we could know, or a few songs, we could make a reaction - And also recommend the food that we are curious! - India has always fascinated me for its multiculturalism, I hope one day to be able to visit it See you in the next video! Ciao!

2:55 Union Territories are NOT Independent or semi-independent .. They more directly administered by central government and powers of local government are limited (compared to other State governments)

12:14 Actually there is not a particular reason why we don't eat meat, I think it's in our culture since Millennia to avoid meat consumption because it hurts other animal lives.

Indian history is so rich ....Indian history is biggest in the world.....even we indian don't learn full history during exam ... There are so many ruler and kingdom... You can find old structure build by different ruler thousands of years ago..and they stand strong even today

@ABCDE3203

Farming doesn't cause pollution and Indians consume very less meat compared to Western nations. Indians are mostly vegetarian and considers animals killing a very sensible matter. Indians don't prefer killing of animals.

Fun fact one of the Indian languages - "Telugu" is called Italian of the east, bcoz there are many similarities in grammar and every word in each sentence ends with vowels.
