now your forecast from Fox 56 news the weather authority well we started the day with some showers and storms this morning and then we pretty much dried out for any of those egg hunts or Easter dinners this afternoon and evening and it's dry across the area on live radar as we speak now notice this front it's up towards Cincinnati just to the north of it we have showers and storms across portions of Illinois Indiana and into Ohio and as we go through the day tomorrow this front's actually going
to slide a little further to the South bringing us the chance for showers and storms both Monday and into Tuesday so let's time it out for you here this is what we're tracking as the next big thing again notice as this area of low pressure develops here this will start to drop South and we'll have some showers and storms around during the day tomorrow now it won't be a complete wash out but we'll have showers and storms from time to time and then they could become a little more wide spread and s
tronger as we head into the afternoon and evening you can see some of these cells popping up here near the Ohio River and if any of those drop South we could be talking about some strong to severe storms then we get a little bit of a breather with just some on and off again showers as we go into the overnight and then into Tuesday we pretty much do it all over again showers and storms possible throughout the day and then in the afternoon and evening notice these cells trying to pop up once again
along with this cold front those could be on the strong side as well and all threats are on the table as far as severe weather goes especially into the day on Tuesday so tomorrow we have a level two risk for most of central and Northern Kentucky a level one risk for most of southern and Southeastern portions of the state again main threats would be Heavy Rain hail and some damaging winds now as we head into Tuesday we're right in the bullseye of this level three risk with far Southeastern Kentu
cky under a level two risk the greatest threats on Tuesday once again large hail damaging winds and yes it looks like we could have the ingredients for some tornadoes to spin up so we'll be watching this very carefully make sure to have your weather alerts turned on both tomorrow and into Tuesday once that front passes through this warm air starts to move on out of here and this cooler air drops into our area so we have the 70s the next couple of days and then highs only around 50 on Wednesday a
nd only in the 40s on Thursday so behind the system that brings us the showers and storms the next couple of days it turns much colder 66 Lexington same story in Rich 68 Hazard still 72 and Harland SE 70 out in Somerset tonight overnight lows won't fall off all that much down to 63 mostly cloudy there could be a spotty shower or storm for somebody but I think most of us stay dry now tomorrow again we have this chance of showers and storms throughout the day some of those be could become on the s
