FANTASTIC FOUR Announcement

Welcome back everyone, it's Charlie Marvel just revealed more important details about the New Fantastic Four team and it goes Way Beyond  them coming from the 1960s and now it looks like the movie will mostly take place in a totally  alternate universe and by the end of that movie they'll travel into the MCU which is similar  to what's happening in p and Wolverine so you kind of see the way that Marvel is slowly setting  people up see how all these characters are slowly coming into the MCU but t

hen doing this with the  Fantastic 4 also changes everything we thought about galactus's origin story silver server  even Dr Doom coming to the MCU so we'll break it all down if you're brand new to the channel be  sure to subscribe to get all the videos there's a bunch of big stuff coming up we should get a new  Deadpool and Wolverine trailer pretty soon which will explain more about the actual plot of that  movie and why he goes from the original X-Men Universe to the MCU that last big teaser t

railer  reveals enough to figure it out largely the TVA responsible for making Deadpool come to the  MCU it's not totally clear if the TVA is also going to be involved with the new Fantastic 4  movie right now I don't think they're part of that movie the way that they're so integral to the  plot of Deadpool and Wolverine this would mean the Fantastic 4 travel to the MCU in some different  way like they're not pulled to the MCU by the TVA they just make it on their own steam but given  that Reed

Richards is one of of the greatest Geniuses in the world next to Tony Stark and sure  any world like if you're talking about alternate universes here it's not hard to explain how  their version of the team survives an attack from Galactus trying to destroy their Earth and is able  to travel between universes one of Reed Richard's biggest discoveries in the comics is the negative  Zone which they did in the 2015 Fantastic 4 movie so he's already figured out how to travel between  universes Stephe

n your arrival here confuses and destabilizes reality the larger the footprint you  leave behind the greater the risk of an incursion now Marvel's changed some of the rules about how  you travel between universes who's able to do that between the comics and the movies inside the MCU  during Doctor Strange Multiverse of Badness the new Canon for the movies was that nobody traveled  between universes and at least lived to tell the tale up to America Chavez in the Kang variants  like even though Ma

rvel is making all these changes with the way they're doing the Council of  Kings the backstory for all those characters that we've seen in the previous Marvel movies and all  the Loki seasons is still going to exist but aside from them what you typically had was people  who would cause Nexus events which means they turned into Branch timelines evolving to fully  alternate universes eventually but the TVA used to prune those before Loki season 1 by the time  we get to Loki season 2 not so much l

ike not as much they're mostly focused on tracking down Kang  variants right now also apparently tracking down Deadpool very Deadpool thing to do wind up on The  tva's Hit List the same way the Kang variants are now America Chavez is meant to be the only person  in the the Multiverse who has the natural power to travel between universes without some crazy  technological workaround that's why Scarlet Witch needed her so badly because even though she's one  of the most powerful magic users in the

Multiverse she still wasn't able to cross between universes  on her own steam John cinsky Reed Richards had already figured out how the Multiverse works and  to travel between universes but because he was so worried about causing incursions it sounded like  he tried to avoid doing that as much as possible in fact he got kind of upset when doct strange  traveled between verus an incursion occurs when the boundary between two universes erodes and  they Collide destroying one or both entirely what'

s happening now though is that we're in the  middle of the time Runs Out story line going on in the background leading up to secret WS so there  are more and more incursions happening at a faster and faster rate Doctor Strange has tried to start  stopping them with clea's help he'll probably fail at that because we know we're heading to Secret  Wars so the Multiverse has to collapse in order for that to happen so all the previous rules about  not trying to go between universes completely out the

window that's where you get to the incursion  at the end of the Marvel's movie with Monica Rambo ending up in the X-Men Universe we're probably  going to see more of that start to happen Q Deadpool in Deadpool and Wolverine you somehow  crossed through a tear in SpaceTime you are now in a reality parallel to your own which is of course  impossible like that X-Men post-credit scene with the incursion is just meant to be precursor  to the the craziness of all this Multiverse travel like all the H

avoc that Deadpool reeks in  the Multiverse during his movie and by the time we get to the Fantastic 4 movie in that alternate  universe next year it will have only gotten worse like the incursions will have gotten worse and  worse so giving the new Fantastic 4 team this backstory also solves a few problems that Marvel  would have had otherwise if they had said they were originally from the MCU it would have taken  way more Hoops to jump through in the movie to explain why nobody in present day

knew about them  or reference them it's similar to the eternals problem Marvel ran into during Avengers endgame  like they're so powerful why didn't they help out during Avengers endgame in the final battle during  the eternals movie they had to create this whole non-interference backstory in the celestial secret  plane to create TM it purely as a way around this Avengers endgame issue before Marvel decided to  make them come from an alternate universe my way of explaining it just my own head Ca

nnon was that  they accidentally wound up traveling into the past and that's why nobody in present day remember them  but even that explanation would probably become a little too complicated for casual audience members  to understand in theaters it's just much simpler to say they come from an alternate universe  and that's just Kevin Feige's way of simplifying all this saying they start out in an alternate  universe in the 1960s 1963 specifically based on when This Time Magazine was published zo

om in  inhance if you didn't recognize it it's based on a real life issue that was published it was  the one right after Kennedy was assassinated and Lynden B Johnson became the US president resident  it was published December 13th 1963 meaning that the movie will probably take place around this  period this way it's way easier to explain why the team looks and acts totally different from  every version of the Fantastic Four we've seen in the movies the original version of the team during  the C

hris Evans Fantastic 4 movies maybe some of them will wind up in Deadpool and Wolverine uh I  feel like we just got here I feel like we never even left um I have no idea where I am in time and  space the much darker much grittier 2015 version of the Fantastic 4 and probably one of the other  big reasons why Marvel wants them to also be from the 1960s in addition to an alternate universe is  mostly so they can be more true to the tone and the vibe of those original Fantastic 4 Comics  which start

ed in the 1960s around this period which if you have not read are really wacky like  they're doing Herby the robot from the original Fantastic 4 cartoon he didn't actually debut  in the comics either he's like a Harley Quinn kind of example where there's a character that's  created purely for a television show then goes in reverse and they write him back into the comics  Herby can you compute the source of the danger it came from outer space but now it is on Earth so  what's the problem we'll ju

st clobber it normally characters start out in the comics and they get  turned into cartoons and movies sometimes though every once in a while it works in Reverse Harley  Quinn is probably the most famous example of that she was actually created for Batman the Animated  Series then became so popular that they just wrote her into the comics and became a super popular  comic book character and people just gradually forgot the fact that she didn't start out in the  comics the other huge thing this

does for Marvel is that it allows them to utterly destroy the  Fantastic Force original Universe in the movie and explain how their team survives and shows  up during Avengers 5 secret Wars everything that comes after in the MCU if Galactus is going to be  the main antagonist to the movie everyone's been wondering how they going to stop galatis in the  1960s with that level of Technology available to them even if Reed Richards is a genius here's the  thing what if they don't stop him and what if

in trying to stop him they wind up also causing  an incursion like we saw at the end of the Marvels movie then their only way to survive the  destruction of their entire universe is to travel into the MCU or maybe it is like the end of the  Marvel's movie and they just wind up in the MCU on accident like I said in the comics there's the  Negative Zone they travel between universes all the time the whole plot with the Negative Zone  during the 2015 Fantastic 4 movie was a little bit different li

ke they kind of went off the  rails with that but it is based on some things that happen in the comics a lot of people also  asking about them doing annihilist in the movies too annihilist comes from the Negative Zone he  was almost in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 but then James gun change some of the origin story for  Rocket Raccoon his original idea was that an nihilist would have been the person who created  Rocket Raccoon I think that he was correct to make the change and turn it into high evol

utionary  being Rockets Creator it would have been weird if anilus was the person who created him but this  also solves a lot of problems with introducing Galactus Dr Doom to the MCU Silver Surfer any  the other Heralds that they introduced during the Fantastic 4 movie there have been a lot of Dr  Doom references and Easter eggs in previous Marvel movies like Doctor Strange multiperson Madness  also a really good example of this originally he was actually going to be a member of the  Illuminati

but it would have been a version of Julian McMahon's Dr Doom from the original  Fantastic Four movies from an alternate universe like the 838 version of his Dr Doom with the actor  coming back they didn't say which character they swapped him out for maybe it was black bolt maybe  it was one of the other characters but he would have been on that roster and had they gone with  that version of the movie this is like a pretty early version of the movie he would have been  the person to create the Ul

tron Bots instead of that universe's version of Tony Stark like the  superior Iron Man from that Universe making the Ultron Bots more of an Easter egg for the Doom  bots but also when they were doing commentary for that movie they also talked about some of  the Dr Doom Easter eggs there a really special treat the detail of the teleportation device uses  to get into the scene is something we took from the comics that's Dr Tom's Dr Doom's uh self  created the Illuminati so it sounds like in that U

niverse this version of John kosinski's  Reed Richards has started to work with this universe's version of Dr Doom like that would  have been one of the big twists like oh my God they're working together that's one of the funny  things about that movie is like every alternate version every deleted scene you hear about makes  it sound like a more interesting version of the movie than the one we actually saw on screen but  outside of them being from the alternate universe and from 1963 there are a
