Sounds a bit like parents who give their kids guns, a car is just as dangerous in the wrong, inexperienced hands. Such an unnecessary loss!
I mean, why is a 17-year-old rookie driver allowed to drive a fast car with passengers? I don't want to sound insensitive but it's his parents fault that this accident happened. If there are any consolations here, at least no other people were hurt.

Don't drive reckless. Your car isn't a race car and the streets are not race tracks. Speed + stupidity kills. Simple as that. Parents know who your children are hanging out with, especially riding around with. 10 p.m. on a Friday night sports car full of minors. Appetite for destruction. It's sad, but the reality of it all is this was totally preventable.
