4 minutes is the edited video. This project would take several days even if you know what you're doing. Just the research into how to hook up the electrical bits would take a while. And, of course, everyone has a DC socket and 3 UV LEDs pre-soldered lying around in their home for projects just like this... This is superb work, done by a well prepared pro!

Mosquitoes aren't attracted to UV light. Probably the heat attracted them. Maybe Infrared would work more effectively? Also, you'd be better off painting the thing black and using a sugar & yeast liquid to produce CO2. If you doubt me, try making my suggested mods and compare the results to your original, set up in the same area of your home.
