One of our tanks died flying off the edge, according to him he was distracted turning up the music when the Tuvan throat started. A worthy death so we were fine with it.
Still dissapointed his Extreme Quest wasnt called "He's back with a Ravangence"

The waltz is a great choice for ravana. He lives for combat and to him you're a dance partner.
Friendly reminder: Ravana is the first primal who originated from ffxiv. And by god do they make him stand out.
He sure knows how to make an entrance.
The first part is like a waltz. It's so lovely.
I feel like the devs just had a REALLY good DnD campaign and decided to make that Heavensward.
as someone who loves insects, swords and symmetry this boss is like the perfect design!
I love how elegant yet violent it sounds, just like his style of combat, as well as it's people. It also goes really well with Heavensward's overall theme of evergoing war, everytime more brutal as well as intrinsicate
My party hadn't watched a guide, so when he started the guttural singing it actually unsettled us enough that we started making mistakes. xD
I feel like Ravana didn't care about tempering so much as he did about getting a good battle. Probably why he's one of the better primals.
Every single time I look up music from ffxiv there's always someone in the comments complaining about how it doesn't fit with the fight. To me it makes these fight so much more memorable than just some generic boss music.
100% favourite primal so far. 99% of that is because of this song.
When roaches decide to fight back
Ravana has something most xiv bosses don't: voice acted boss quotes. more of this, please. Hearing his LET US DANCE TO THE SONG OF RINGING STEEL FURIOUS AS A BLAZE UNYIELDING AS THE EARTH TAJE WING YE SOULS OF WAR With his moves is exciting, and makes boss fights feel very cool.
My sister is on a dancing school, and they all got to pick a song which they then voted on to dance onto. I convinced her to take Ravana's theme and it won! It was flipping awesome hearing Ravana's theme song loudly and watching them dance onto it for a live audience!
Okay I know this video is old and all but I recently got to Ravana and when I saw his intro I was like "Pshhh what a show off! I bet I can beat him without trouble!" Then I fell down the arena
Other bosses are content to just fight you. This one straight up sings while fighting you.
My first run of this (tank main, drk) had both tanks get thrown off the edge near the end, and instead of giving up, the 6 dps and 2 healers just hauled ass and went through the last 5-10% of ravana's hp alone. I think I only saw someone's hp drop below half once during this time. To this day I am terrified of those two healers
