I think one of the most time-consuming issues
for production is changes. You are constantly moving to different ideas. Information is the only
currency on a film set. If you know what is coming towards you, you can actually, as a department,
try to preempt that. Changes are fine. People know that changes happen. It's about the communication
around those changes that are important. We recognized their need for stability, the
same as they have with their internal team, and we really put effor
t into having a team that's
as stable as possible, which is not always easy. I think they appreciate the trustworthiness
and commitment displayed by Infinum. We work with some of the biggest studios in
Hollywood, Disney, 20th Century, Marvel. Most of the feedback we get is that, oh, I didn't need
to be trained on this at all. I just understood exactly where it was, and we tried to keep it
very simple. ProductionPro has three main feature sets. We have the production binder, the script
brea
kdown, and the media hub. The production binder is where the studio and the production get
to manage and work with their scripts so they can make notes. They can have them personally
for them, they can share them with others, and we automatically transfer those notes every
time the script changes. The breakdown matches and shows the breakdown of the scenes and the
characters in those scenes and matches the current script. And the media hub is where all the
departments display the most recen
t versions of what they're working on. The costume designs, the
set designs, the pre-vis for VFX, and all those pieces work together in harmony so that you can
jump from the direct scene in the script to what each department is having, what they're displaying
in the media hub to the breakdown elements. One of the major advantages to us to work with
Infinum has been flexibility around the team. So we have always felt like Infinum's team was
our team, and we've made lasting relationships the
same way that we've made with our
in-house engineering team as well. What I really enjoy about working on this project
is that it's actually a very exciting industry, and although I'm not working directly
with movies or theater productions, it's nice to know that you're at
least a little part of Hollywood.
