FINAL FANTASY

2 days ago

In the beginning, I looked around and could not quite find the car I dreamed of. So, I decided to build it myself. Creating FINAL FANTASY VII was quite a different process from what we had done in the past. It was now in 3D, so we could harness more artistic power it was an attempt to create something unprecedented where there wasn’t yet a right answer. I believe that the power to create something that has never existed before comes from a creator's imagination. FINAL FANTASY and FINAL FANTASY V
II were not created by one person's imagination, but by that of many. We wanted to create something completely new. I see a commonality with that in the creative power of Porsche’s designs. Porsche’s philosophy of "creating cars that never existed before", can be felt strongly in their perfect visual balance, combining elements that change with the times, with those that are timeless. I felt that if we were to remake FINAL FANTASY VII, we would have to be bold and daring. So, completing this pro
ject was like a dream to me. A Creator's imagination has the power to bring tangible new creations to life. With the arrival of the PlayStation’s 3D graphics, we were unable to use the framework, and in many ways, much of the knowledge that we had built up in the past I was very unsure about how we should go about creating something new, something that would become the standard for the next generation, the new standard for RPGs, but we struggled on through, searching for our answers, and overcam
e the difficulties. It was the ideal game we were aiming for at the time, a crystallization of our dreams of what a game should be like. FINAL FANTASY will, of course, continue over the next decades, there will always be new technological innovations. Another moment will come when we face the next stage, as we have many times before. It will certainly be difficult moving up to that next level. But I hope that we can take that challenge as an opportunity, and continue to push forward to create so
mething new. Something different from what has come before. Difficulties are bound to come. However, it's also an opportunity to embrace the greater challenge of creating something new.' At the time of FINAL FANTASY VII's release, the PlayStation had been launched, and the graphics became 3D. FINAL FANTASY VII was a game that had a huge impact on me as a child. So, it felt like fate for me to be involved in the remake project. Our competitive landscape for creating products and games is no longe
r limited to Japan, so we create games with the whole world in mind. We are always conscious of the need to create games that shine as brightly as they can globally. We adapt our storylines and game experiences to fit the modern era and ideals We do this because people’s ideals change with the times, day by day. And I believe it’s very important for FINAL FANTASY to keep up with these changes. Porsche has also evolved and grown with the times. I feel that they always pursue new things without be
ing complacent of their past successes. I don't think many companies in the world can do that, and that is why FINAL FANTASY and Porsche resonate with each other in this way. Never be content with just one success. Always be in pursuit of the next innovation.

Is there a Porsche in FF7? Or is there a FF7 themed Porsche? 🤔

@OldManPhillips

What the hell is this collab lol

@nufi20

Here all I wanted is a FF7 toaster to imprint the comet. The wheels should leave comet imprints.

@novarepter386

"One day I was crossing the road while playing Final Fantasy VII on my Nintendo Switch and I was struck by Johnny Silverhand's Porsche but I was also struck by it's amazing speed and power and I wondered, how can I spread it's unimaginable majesty to every plain of existence, how can I exist in a world where a Porsche automobile isn't present in every Final Fantasy game?, can I even exist in a world where a Porsche automobile isn't present in every Final Fantasy game?, No. That's why I've dedicated my life to modding a Porsche complete with 2 cup noodle holders into every single Final Fantasy game be it Sprite or 3D Model. I have hidden these of course as use brings about wear, tear and rust, and that's a real waste especially of such a priceless automobile (oh boy the price of Porsche is steep). Even if the morrow is barren of Porsches, nothing shall forestall it's return, to become the tyre marks on the land, to spare the roads, the seats and the signs, I offer thee this sound advice. Embrace your dreams and whatever happens, refuel the Porsche"

@johnminore

We had the final fantasy house and now we have the final fantasy car.

@finalfantasymemory

Nomura tells us more about a car than about his own game's story.

@Yo_Gamer

Noctis gets the Regalia, Yozora gets a Porsche 😂

@NormNoXz_97

I was never expecting something like this to happen

@johnsonle9440

One of the most hype games everyone want to collab 😂😂

@THELYRICALTMAN

Not sure where this came from but hey, we got Rebirth so I'll give it a view

@ryouma1717

i cant even afford a used car and they want me to go out and buy a brand new porsche? lulz

@Alvis-DxNami

Still haven't save enough for that ff15 audi r8 Square enix pls...

@The_Gallowglass

When I think of Final Fantasy, I don't think of porche.

@FirstDarkAngel2001

So, leaning on that whole thing of what happened when Sephirorh(George Newbern) had voiced a commercial for a car, huh?

@EddDoubleDD

Remember when VIII actually gave you the damn car to build hype and brand loyalty?

@markisaki979

First they partnered with Nissan for XIII, then with Audi for XV, and now Porsche for VII Rebirth. I honestly thought that I was an outlier by being an avid sim racer who is also a FF fan, but Square seem to know that there is such a demographic overlap 😂

@J-Pow

"For this collab, we decided to replace all of Aerith's dialogue with Porsche revs."

@CarlBeRockin

The collab is themed around life changing dreams that came true. The dream of the Porsche and that Final Fantasy was the dream that saved Square (VII being probably the most well received then and personally now)

@SlayerSeraph

The Crossover we never asked for, not expected, but we sorely need (a new car)

@Driahva

The best thing about this collab with Porche is that Roberto Ferrari is a character designer for the game.
