FIRST DAY IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 (Absolute Chaos)

I don't think it was a good idea to wear black clothes this is exactly what I [Music] needed so I was I was just walking and then  he stopped me there's another one there's no English in this just  just L uh no meat no chicken no meat no chicken so I can't wait to show  you guys what this place has to offer [Music] good morning and assalamu alaikum everyone  welcome back to my YouTube channel so if you haven't already guessed by now I'm in Pakistan  I'm in Lahore it's uh my motherland and uh it'

s also where I was born and I spent the early years  growing up in this city uh before I moved into the the UK so a lot of my friends and family back  in the UK they've been telling me you know that they want to see Lahore what it's about that  because they've never been so I've got this opportunity to visit this beautiful city and  U I can't wait to show all my friends family and especially you guys uh what this city has  to offer we're starting the series of right in the middle of Lahore which

is known as the old  city and also the wall city of Lahore it's uh surrounded by 12 gates which served as entry  points into to the city during the Mughal era and it was actually in his prime during the  Mughal era but he actually traces back to at least a couple of thousand years old so one  of the gates we are exploring today is Delhi gate this is the true Lahore so I can't  wait to show you guys you know what this has to offer and the hustle and bustle the  chaos the the traffic the horns ev

erywhere you know it's just it's a bit hectic but  you got to love it so I can't wait to show you guys what this place has to offer in  terms of its culture tradition shopping uh landmarks food especially food so if you  haven't subscribed already please do so because from now on from here on it's about  to get really exciting and uh now without further Ado let's get inside Delhi gate or dly  Dera and see what this place has in store for [Music] us so as soon as you enter Deli  gate uh when you

take the first left you are greeted with this  building it's called the Shahi hamam this was actually built in 1060 after  Christ B ad I don't know about any of those uh ad BC I know BDS before Christ but  anyway it was built in 1060 ad and it was uh it's like a public bath house back then  it was Private it's for uh Emperor Wazir Khan he was the governor of Lahore during that time  so this was his private uh B house this is not something which you get to see in traditional  imams around the pla

ces like Morocco or turkey it's got very um what what's the word rich fi  to it even you know with the architecture and the way it's just being laid out and it was  actually a public bath house during the time of uh wazir Khan who served as the governor of  Lao where people used to come and uh pay for the services the ham services and then uh have a bath  so let's show you guys some more of this ancient ham this this is what you call a modern day  oh sorry an olden day jacuzzi that's where the s

howers used to come from and then this  was actually for special people for like rich people and uh you know the executives they used  to have this uh private room where they used to both Ste SP so this is steam room SAA it's hard to believe that you know things  like these existed back in those times as well like Sona steam room jacuzzi they seem like  you know very modern Innovations but when you really like dig deep into history you get to  know that you know those people were you know capabl

e of producing things that we have as  well in this day and age in fact that those things look better back in back from those times  so so this was the Shahi hamam very fascinating place um now we're heading out to explore  some more of the deli gate and the ancient Lao check this hand out chicken that's massive I'm thinking now it's time to find something  to eat because I'm getting a bit peckish so now we're going to find uh so it's only right  if we hunt for some street food and try the the f

amous dishes of this area and I already know  they're going to taste good so I can't wait to eat people BL selling spices has  pickle AAR look at that red chili [Music] powder so as you can see we entered  from that way so now we're going this [Music] way [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] the sun is out and I don't  think it was a good idea to wear black clothes so it's only right if we  get ourselves a juice just to you know get some freshen and some coolness  in the body which will keep

us going so orange the juice [Music] look at this color look at the  color of this so orange let me taste it oh W so good this is exactly what I needed it's not too it's the perfect amount of sourness it's not too sour it's not too bitter  but it's not too sweet it's it's just perfect and this cost 100 rupees which was  which is like 35 ft or big jug you know if you're ever in deligate you definitely need to  get one of these fresh juices it's so [Applause] refreshing I think I can easily  drink

like two maybe three comfortably look at the the hustle and bustle everybody is just so busy just got tapped by a bike look at this chicken let do I'm definitely going to try this I don't know how to Des describe it but I'm definitely going to ask someone  and then tell you what it is is it so this is called a l l i don't  know how you say in English but I'm going to find out and then I'll let  let you guys know so this is how it looks it's like I think these are onions  and this is like a mayb

e chili sauce and then the [Music] is there's no English in this just  just Luddoo uh no meat no chicken no meat no chicken this is so yummy [Music] wow it's very crispy crispy and uh  it's called K like a bit um B bit like [Music] salsa this is what I was saying you know in  the previous uh series like when I went to Albania or Portugal I couldn't  really try much because everything like it was either not Halal or it's  just not appetizing but everything you see here food related it's just you 

want to eat it I love it okay [Music] n let's pay and leave [Music] for like sorry guys I I was just became too busy  in eating so this is actually called uhaa it's like a fried bread  with chickpeas with few spices so delicious I think we can consider this  as a street food does this come on the street food this a street food one of the  many Street Foods options that we have in the tri it's not the healthiest  steep food but let's be honest which good thing has always been  good for your heal

th if you want good taste then forget good health which  is exactly what I'm doing right [Music] [Music] now there's literally no space to  walk I'm it's peak hour right now 10 to 3 in the afternoon and we've just finished up the  Chola butura it was delicious it was creamy the the bread was crispy but soft and uh the  chickpeas were just perfect amount just a perfect taste as I was saying got the clip  got cut again the street food in Pakistan is undefeated is literally the best in the  world a

nd my favorite look this is what we had earlier it's just I'm so happy  to be here right now just just because just purely because of the  food thank you um alhamdulillah ABD yeah favorite cheese coin man this is what I mean you know a  lot of people say Pakistan is not safe pakistanis are not nice people but this  is this was a live example of how kind and generous the people are so I was I  was just walking and then heo another one the hospitality of Pakistani people is  undefeated he stopped

me and he asked me you're vlogging this and then you know  he told me a few places I can see and then he was just he had big smile on his face and  he was greeted me he doesn't even know me and the guy before the the one at the clothing  shop he even you know offered me tea and he asked me if I want to eat something it's  things like this that you know show how good the Pakistani people are and uh how kind and  generous they [Music] are even though I know this but still like I've experienced the

first  time so it's it's it's a really good feeling I'm currently stuck in the ch of people and  bikes there's no literally no space to walk there's water leakage there's everything  I have to walk let's just do this and then walk oh I'm going to get wet oh the water's  gone in my shoes great absolutely great stuff I need to wash my shoes I need  to wash my feet okay everything else oh and it stinks as well so  I'm uh I was about to go to this next location but some people stopped  us I'm with

my dad some people from a news channel they stopped this now  they're doing an interview for of my this just some serious uh  M get proper proper into it talking about politics it's funny but  he's saying the right things I can't [Music] complain
