Hi. Welcome back. We have arrived at the final episode of Death Note. We ended on a fucking cliffhanger. I didn't even discuss the episode. I just want to know how this ends. Are they all going to die? I'm hoping. Near anticipated this move. And then it's a fake book. Somehow Light is just despicable. He's such a cocky little shit and he's proclaiming himself to be the winner. And I hope they don't die. And that's how they find out that he's, in fact, Kira by him saying, I won. Oh, man, I hope.
I hope he suffers. I really do. Anyway, let's jump into the finale of Death Note. Let's go. I'm sweating. I hope they don't die. No, just show me. New World. Does his plan work? Yes! You gave yourself away, bitch! His face! His face! Oh, this is fantastic. His face. No! You’re ot going to get away with this, bitch. Oh, he's freaking the fuck out. Yes! It’s what gave him away. He’s just going to get arrested. That's it? Oh, you fucking loser. Look at him. Absolutely terrified. Oh, holy shit. Ryuk
Many, many times. Yes! Holy fuck, dude. To go on a different day. His face. Maybe. Oh, he was the one calling her. He didn't want to work together in the beginning. Mello. He's going to try to grab the book now. Why is he laughing? He's going to try one more thing for sure to get out of this. You're fucking crazy, dude. Holy shit. Six years. He did not hesitate to use it at all. Just arrest his ass. Yes, yes, yes. Get him Is he going to kill himself. Holy fuck. What the fuck? Don't let him get
away. Oh, my God. You laughed as people died. Fuck you. You deserve this. Ryuk is going to finish him off. He got away with this for six years on some fucking stairs. Misa, you're finally free. What is she doing? Do not jump. Bye. He's dead. Yay! I knew Near had a plan where he anticipated that move from Light. And I said he's going to give himself away by saying I'm the winner. I win this. You lose. I You see him go off the rails very quickly. I've never seen his face express the things that he
'd expressed in this episode. And then we have Matsuda out of everyone to shoot him, to gun him down And then Ryuk, It seems fitting. Ryuk is the one that ultimately ends him. But man, I'm really happy about Aizuwa Matsuda and the rest. To be alive still to have Light Getting his ass dragged. and to have Near say, no you you're just a killer. You are a serial killer. You're nuts. Yeah. He was just batshit crazy, like, cocky. Um, thought of himself as a god. It's bullshit, honestly. Um, and the f
act that he got away with it for six years is astounding. Um. But, yeah, this is pretty much what I wanted. And I got it. Although that last image of Misa, I don't know if that implies what I think it implies. I don't love it. I would much rather have her have a fucking life away from her obsession from Light. But other than that, I'm. I'm pretty happy with this. Um. To see Light cornered in that way. To see him scared shitless. To lose. To be absolutely unhinged and crazy. And he died on some f
ucking stairs in some empty warehouse. Bullshit. It's what he deserves. He was laughing his way through these killings. Fuck him. I don't know if that's, like, is that a hot take? To not like Light to disagree with Light. Because I know there are people out there that think he's doing the right thing. But, yeah, like Near said, you are a killer. You can't just keep getting away with this. I very much agree. So, yeah, Near won. He got the job done. Um, I'm very happy with this. I thought this was
a really fun, really great show, especially because it has a protagonist that is as well. That is a protagonist, but also the antagonist. He is the villain of the story. And it doesn't come very often that I'm rooting for the main guy to die or to go to jail or whatever. But this is one of these shows, um, like with Attack on Titan. And I think this has great voice acting, um, very dynamic, visual animation. Like I said before, twists and turns that I didn't see coming. Um, I think the only dow
nside I would say is I would have liked to have seen Misa play a bigger part in like the final stretch of this story because she felt huge as a character when she first came in. And then they sort of didn't do much with her. I feel towards the end, um, but yeah, this is great. This was a great watch. Um, I can't believe I, I've now finished two anime shows. I am starting a third one either this week or on Monday. It is now Wednesday as of this recording and I will be starting a Vinland Saga whic
h came in second after Death Note on the polL. I know nothing about it. I know it has two seasons that I know. Other than that, nothing. Um. So that should be very exciting as well. I like going into things without knowing too much. Um, which was the case with Death Note, which was the case with Attack on Titan. So I'm very, very stoked to start Vinland Saga. But this was great. I'm very happy with this ending. I think it was the only ending that you could have. I think if Light had gotten away
with this and that was the ending, that would have been some bleak shit. But yeah, very happy with this. This was a great watch and that's that. Leave like, leave a comment, maybe subscribe and I'll see you guys for Vinland Saga. Bye.

i love how she says Misa is free/doesnt want her to commit suicide, regardless she killed innocent people voluntarily ahahaha

@JosePerez-eb7kp

Wonderful final. Ladies and gentlemen, it was a pleasure. Senpaierin thank u for all those Death note reactions <3

@3tm4ne

In the manga the ending is slightly different in the way that Light dies. I don't think it's a big spoiler but if you intend to read the manga you can stop here. Very well. In the manga Light turns to Ryuk and pleads with him to write the names of Near and the others, Ryuk starts writing and Light thinks he will get away, then Ryuk shows the book and Light sees his name written on it, Light despairs but Ryuk says that, as Light knows very well, if the name is written then it can't be changed, he will be dead in some seconds, and after some crying and begging in front of everybody Light dies. I think it's more satisfying this way :) Then there's an epilogue, Near is the new L, Matsuda shares with the other police members his theory that Near might have used the Death Note to test it and control the actions to ensure Light's death, but Aizawa and the others don't buy it, throughout the series we see that Matsuda had the most sympathy for Light, perhaps because they're around the same age. And then there's the One Shot, this one I recommend you read it, where years later Ryuk gives the Death Note to another kid, who comes up with a plan to auction the Death Note, with the US government and others giving their bids :D It's only one chapter and I highly recommend it.

The thumbnail hahahahaha says it all

Sempaierin, I've been following you for a while, and I really enjoy watching your reactions—so expressive and particularly how you often cut the most important parts in a spectacular way. However, I just want you to know, or more than anything, to consider whether you are in favor of or against Kira. If you think about it, Near only has one argument, 'you're just a murderer who thinks he's a god,' clinging to the morally 'correct' standards of our society. But Light, despite being practically a megalomaniac psychopath, has achieved results in the world that put him in the right position. It has been reported in the anime and the manga itself that violent crimes and wars have decreased by more than 50%, and even wars have ceased. Imagine the number of innocent lives that governments at war (like Russia today, for example, or warlords in Africa) and criminal organizations would have claimed. Let's use a very low number, say 100,000 innocent lives, and let's increase the number a bit in this case. Light killed 1,000 innocent people. Isn't it worth it for 1,000 innocents to lose their lives just so 100,000 innocent lives can survive? Your response would make me very happy. Thanks for the excellent content.

@orionstar8177

I'm not surprised. In the first episodes, she says, "kill that bastard," and at the end she says: "You deserve it, scum," no one even tries to understand that this anime has two sides of morality

@GENKEJ

12:30 she jumped :3

@gageracer

Rip Yagami you were the bravest of all. The true prophet who died for our sins.

@comentariorandom1264

Lmao that "hes deaaaaad" at the end with a smile really got me xDDDDDDDD

@SupremeEnlightened

Death note's ending is awesome! And yeah, LIght definitely got what he deserved! I can't understand why some people don't see that!

@viriatox9782

Great reaction. By the way, after finishing reacting to Vinland Saga, I highly recommend you react to the anime titled Monster This series is a masterpiece of psychological thriller based on the manga of the same name by Naoki Urasawa (one of the greatest manga artists in history, known in Japan as the Master of Suspense), which has one of the best casts of characters that can be found in a series (including one of the best protagonists, the best antagonist, and several of the best supporting characters in all of anime/manga). It's also considered one of the best and most faithful adaptations of a manga to anime. Additionally, it was made by the animation studio Madhouse, which also animated Death Note.

@FunMedic-indonesia

This anime represents in real terms the laws that humans make, what light said is not completely wrong. In this world, many people do not get justice. Many parents lose their children because they were brutally murdered but do not get justice. Many criminals receive inappropriate punishment. .They keep repeating their crimes, there are many elite criminals who hide behind human rights and wealth..we as people who have not experienced this incident will find it easy to defend the suspect's human rights because he is also human, but you don't feel the pain of the people who lost their families .Humans are really hypocritical..

@JonSnow-pn6gn

The question is if Light is not supposed to kill anyone, then what about the girl he saved in early episode who would've probably gotten raped by some thugs outside that store he was in.

@vincentvieille5996

Some people theorize Light became one of the god of death after dying. His soul i mean, without his memories of his human life. I don't know why. I think a lot of people like Light because he is a genius, despite of the pleasure he feel in killing. Even if some people agree with him or his point about society (His argument are real and very true when you watch actual society. You can't deny that. It's factual justice is not always effective and right.) i don't think people are agree with killing for pleasure either. And for Light it is. He clearly enjoy win against an opponent by killing him, just to show he is the most clever, the best etc ... This guy only enjoy life when he is in competition and win. His enjoyment is to win against an oppenent and that's all. I personnaly think even if in the begenning it was with real intention to change society, the more he used the Death Note, the more it became a game with the only goal to win and proove himself as the best. The Death Note slowly corrupt him to the point he enjoyed this. Where he could have feel the same thing just with playing chess lol.

@PhiBrian

A moment of silence for the people who didn't watch this anime or didn't listened to the japanese voice, which is the same thing I think.

@moizekhan4643

I wish Light had won and wrote down Near’s name at the end. That would have been great.

@vaanaxo5818

Death Note is such a classic one. Now u need to watch Code Geass :P

@slayer91340

Make sure you have had enough sleep when you watch Vinland saga. Easy to be put to sleep as the show goes on.

@fortnitesause4411

lmao you said he laughs as he kills people and then laugh as he dies lmao.
