Hi. Welcome back. I'm watching one more episode today. Episode eight We met yet another new character. We met Ketil's other older son, Thorgill,
who's your typical warrior. We find out a bit more about Ketil
and how even he's in conflict with himself. And we have that little twist at the end
with Arnheid. it's going to lead to some drama with Einar, I think. In terms of crops and farming it's going really well for Einar and Thorfinn. I love watching them together. They're funny together. I'm gl
ad we're at this at the stage where they're friends, genuine friends, they're helping each other grow as people and they're teaching each other stuff, which is nice. But yeah, Thorgill I feel, if he's sticking around, I feel like he will be,
I don't know, bad influence, maybe. I don't know. We have those thieves. Um, those poor, poor kids. Um, maybe we'll see more of them as well. We'll see. But onto episode eight, let's watch another nightmare Einar is like.... Just like every other night, his
hair is getting long. Oh, you have no idea. An empty man. You can't keep suppressing things. Feel like that's all you've been doing. Don't fuck it up. They're going to do something. It's not up to you to decide. He's. He's going to do something
to ruin the crops, isn't he No. You fought way too long. He needs to process everything so he can move forward. Yes. What’s left? You literally did well. He's still alive. fish? Thank God. They have people around like this. Some people can You had your kn
ives. He's grown up. He would have been dead. yes, you would have. Oh, they ruined the crops. They ruined the crops. Those assholes. I knew it. It's all ruined because they're petty little bitches. That's why. here has to be repercussions because they're going to keep doing this. Because Ketil doesn't want her to leave. Oh, God. Kick their ass. Oh he’s mad. Pathetic. That's what you are. With one punch. Oh, boy. Here we go. No! Fuck those retainers. Oh, my God. I knew. I knew they were going to
ruin
those crops. But this was a great episode for Thorfinn, because I feel like also with these with these dreams, with these nightmares, he's obviously not processing things, not, um, dealing with his emotions, with everything
that's happened, with all of his choices
that he's made in the past. He hasn't dealt with it basically. And I feel like through, through Einar he gets to have a chance to talk about it. Um, sort of reflect on it
and even talked about Askeladd. He's like, I don't hate him
anymore. But hating Askeladd was all I did for 11 years. And now that hate is gone, Askeladd is gone,
and there's just nothing left. So there's this big question
whether when can I be reborn? Can I be a person again? Um, can something else take the place of this hate
that I carried? Um, I like to think that there is a chance
for Thorfinn. I really do. But it's not easy, you know? But then this whole retainer bullshit. Oh god. And then Arnheid does not have a chance to be free because Ketil like
s her. So much. It's just. It's a rough day for Einar in particular. But we get a glimpse of old Thorfinn at the end
where he basically crushed that asshole's jaw when one hit. Um, I do wonder what the what the nightmare means. Where he's falling off the cliff and he keeps seeing that older woman
that took care of him as well. Um, yeah. I'm really excited about Thorfinn and where he's headed. I do think that
he is on a path of healing. I hope that he is, um, I think that would be the most satisf
ying
thing, you know, for Thorfinn. I just want everyone to be okay. Like Thorfinn, Einar Arnheid just the not assholes I want to. I could care less about the retainers. Fuck them. Um, but yeah, I hope this... because will
this fight have repercussions? Will they get punished? This has been a really interesting season
so far. A lot of twists, very curious how this will end because there's no more seasons
after this. So I have
I still have 16 episodes to go, but this has taken an interesting dire
ction that I did not see coming at all
when I started season two. Um, but I'm really liking it so far. I really like Einar. Um, yeah. It's working for me. Leaving a like, leave a comment,
maybe subscribe and I'll see you guys for the next one. Bye.

I find that the ways this show reminds us that a relatively privileged slave is still a slave, are brutal and heartbreaking
May I just take a moment to say that you're one of my favorite react channels and are severely underrated? You have such excellent commentary and it may be a small thing, but I love your setup. It is such a great aesthetic that I'm slowly but surely trying to revamp my home into something similar. If you ever question yourself or this channel: DON'T. You're doing such an amazing job and I'm certain many more people will take notice in no time. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND DON'T EVER DOUBT YOURSELF <3!
The next episode is one of the 5 best in the anime.
Ep9 epic 🔥
Nice reaction as usual. Hate it when reactors stops, rewinds every few mins and asks about stuff which they'll likely get answered in the next 30 secs anyway.
