First time seeing MUSIC SHOW IN KOREA

Hello, everyone! In this video we're gonna tell you about our Korean music show experience The program is called The Show and it's created by SBS channel We managed to take part in this show during our trip to Korea To be exact, it was an episode from April 24th which was the day of our arrival to Korea So the first day in Korea brought us a lot of fun In this video, we're gonna tell you what surprised us, how does recording the music show in Korea look like, how to get there and, what's the mo

st important, who performed on April 24th There are 3 ways to get into the music show in Korea First of all, the official SBS app for your phone where you can register for exact dates Not only for The Show but also for Inkigayo You wait for the results There is a huge advantage that if you win the ticket, it's for 2 people so you can bring your friend along with you Second of all, registering into the official fanclub of a group that's gonna perform And making a line with the rest of the fanclub

(You can also buy a ticket but we focused on free ways to get into The Show) The third option is just a simple line But the fanclubs go inside first So if you line in a normal queue, there is a chance that you will not get inside So after coming to Korea, we had time to check what, how and why And in the evening, we got into a complex of buildings of biggest Korean television channels such us MBC, CJ and SBS And we found our own queue for foreigners It wasn't difficult at all But we met really

nice k-pop fans there They talked about the line-up We didn't know the line up before because we were on our way to Korea We didn't have time to check who's gonna perform And we did not have the Internet connection yet back then And we found out that VIXX is gonna perform I was really happy about it I didn't go to VIXX concert in Poland a few years ago When I heard that VIXX can appear in The Show, I regained hope again I thought it's gonna be the day when I finally see VIXX live Other queues h

ad slogans and budges to see who's a fan of what group And which queue comes first So the time spent in the queue passed really fast for us We got to know a girl from Singapore, another one from Philipines We kinda got to know the line up but we were not 100% sure if this group is gonna perform in this episode Or if we're really gonna see them live or prerecorded And we got to know about it later Then we finally could get inside of the building And it was really exciting! Because it was our firs

t music show ever I really wanted to take part in a music show Even if these groups will come to Poland or at least Europe some day and we go to their concert, we will never experience a thing like a Korean music show in Europe All the performances we always watch on YouTube - we could finally see them live And it was so exciting! So we got inside the building with our queue And we climbed the stairs to the upper floor Because we had seats there And it turned out that the seats were very close t

o the stage! And the standing places right in front of the stage were very small We thought that maybe around 100 people get inside (After going there for the 2nd time, it seemed bigger for us :D) It was a small amount of people I have no idea how they do it on TV that it looks like a huge crowd But the place seemed really small! There were more of a seating places And it was almost full Media were sitting in front of us Press and media is a really interesting thing in Korea All the journalists

that were sitting there, were working very hard and fast Because after a performance of each group ended, they edited pictures in Photoshop immediately and uploaded online And adding like 3 sentences long description to it Or even one sentence long Just like: who performed and a picture They were doing it live It was very interesting to see You may not know but we are majoring in journalism And none of us has ever worked like this And we have some journalism experience already So it was very int

eresting The studio consists of the seating places, the stage and the standing places right in front of it and also a smaller stage for MCs In this case it was BAP's Youngjae, TRCNG's Hohyeon and MOMOLAND's JooE They were really close to us Our seats were not that high, just behind the media So we could see the MCs well They were sitting there for the whole time They just moved to the smaller stage when they had to speak We didn't mention it yet but this show was live It started on time and ther

e was no option that it could be even a few seconds late Performance, performance, MC, performance Some idols were even brought from the stage because there was no time to talk to their fans Or they even had only half of their performance MC went on the stage afterwards and they spoke about the performance and left the stage again Everything was perfectly planned When you watch it from aside and see how it works, you see that there is no place for any mistake, everything is practiced Everything

is known But it makes a huge impression on you Ann already mentioned that some groups had only half of their performance and this is the thing that surprised us We finally got to know what the prerecording is During one of the performances I noticed that I see a completely different thing on the screen Their outfits were different So something was wrong in my head But this is what the prerecording is about They record it earlier but they come to the music show anyway and perform But during the

performance, we see the video that was recording earlier During this show we also noticed amazing camera work There is one big camera moved above the crowd and the stage In front of the idols' faces, behind them, just everywhere There are also smaller cameras moving at the sides of the stage But to reconcile all the materials, the camera operators must have a lot of skills All these people have to cooperate with each other And they must know what to do so everything looks perfect on television E

verything also happens very fast because there is no time for a smallest mistake The artists come down the stage very fast Sometimes they are almost 'pushed' from there This is also why they have no time for having a contact with their fans Even though the audience really wanted to talk with them When it comes to fans, even though there were microphones hanging above the people, they stayed... Kinda quiet, in my opinion This show was a bit... Peaceful It wasn't something like a concert which is

a completely different category But the fans were ready to fanchant There were quite a lot of BAP lightsticks Even though BAP wasn't performing There was only one BAP member as MC But it could be easily seen that fans support him and they come to The Show for the MC This type of organization was something new for us The main difference is the fact that we're from Europe and the biggest amount of audience was from Asia And they act different We could finally notice it live In this case, they were

quite peaceful We have to mention that during this kind of shows, taking any pictures or videos is strictly forbidden You cannot even take your phone out If the security sees that you take pictures, this person has to go out immediately We even read that we can be put on a 'black list' when they see us taking pictures And they will never let you get inside again So we didn't want to take a risk We don't have any photos from The Show But at least we have memories we're gonna share with you now B

ut we're moving to the most important part - who performed there The order will be complerely random We will tell you the things we recall We can starts from the groups who had a comeback during the week we arrived For example, Snuper They had a comeback exactly the same day we arrived And they performed in The Show So we didn't hear that song yet (back then) It was the first time we heard Tulips live And I cannot believe that I saw Snuper And all the other groups we saw I usually talk about the

m on our channel I always get excited about the comebacks I tell you: love Snuper, love Imfact, love VIXX! And I suddenly see these groups live And I felt like the luckiest person ever And it was just amazing Seriously The best thing ever: for the last week before coming to Korea, she's been telling me that she wants to see Snuper live That they should make a fanmeeting or a showcase or anything else And she really wanna go there And suddenly Snuper goes on stage in The Show Boom! It's done! I h

ad the same situation with Imfact! Imfact had a comeback a few days before we went to Korea I kept on sending the link to Carol See it! You have to watch it! 'The light' is amazing! Maybe they will gain more attention! They will gain new fans! Oh my God, I love Imfact so much! Carol, check this out! And suddenly they come on stage And I can finally hear it live I love this feeling When a group you talk about... The group you get excited about and you listen to... Suddenly goes on stage in front

of you! It was really unexpected for us back then Because we didn't know the line up We could guess that a group who had a comeback was going to perform Or at least we could hope so But seeing Imfact live was just amazing Same with Snuper I really love less popular groups If you are not on this channel for the first time, then you know this about me perfectly It was a perfect chance to see these smaller groups And also some bigger groups I wanted to say that since then, I love Imfact with all of

my heart And I cannot stop listening to this song! The best thing is the fact that now we changed the hotel but in the previous one we didn't have access to YouTube because it was blocked We couldn't watch any performances or listen to k-pop groups The only website that worked was Chinese But there were these performances from The Show on this Chinese website So we watched Snuper, Imfact, IN2IT and other groups we saw live Like a whole playlist of the episode we participated in But IMFACT climb

ed to the top of my list of favorite groups right now It's just... WOW. Speaking of IN2IT, it was my favorite performance 'Snapshot' live was amazing It's not because of their sexy outfits But their performance just had power in it! I almost fell of the chair And I kept talking only about them After leaving the building They gave me so much energy They just made their own show on stage This performance was definitely one of my favorites (if not a favorite one) If I had to choose a performance th

at sticks to my mind the most... it would be IN2IT, for sure But also Samuel! I didn't expect him there at all Not at all! Suddenly we saw a lot of dancers coming on stage Wearing weird outfits With masks on their faces And one soloist I didn't know what was going on But I saw someone holding a 'Samuel' slogan in the crowd It seemed quite impossible for me because Samuel had a comeback at the beginning of April And it was April 24th I couldn't believe it but I suddenly saw Samuel I was just shoc

ked I felt like crying! Samuel is the youngest of my biases I feel very sentimental about him I wanted him to get into the final 11 in Produce 101 I liked him even when he was a part of Seventeen I really support his solo career I really like what he's doing now When I saw him live, I couldn't believe it, really! I've been fangirling over 8 years younger guy! More then over any other band! It seems a bit weird for me now But seeing Samuel live was one of the best experiences Samuel performing li

ve is genius His choreographies are way different from any others Even though he performs solo But he is really very talented! He can do it alone! With backdancers, of course But everything looks genius It makes a big impression I've been looking at him like this Carol, is it Samuel? Is it really Samuel? What is Samuel doing here? I was shocked But I am really happy that I saw him I think there is one more song we really love... You keep singing it all the time and I think you really don't know

that you do it It's The Boyz - Giddy up Yeah, I hear it all the time! Like this! In the morning, at night, in the middle of the day, in the bathroom, in our room, in bed... I hear it EVERYWHERE! The Boyz were really great! What I remember is Carol noticing that they all are signed I could choose my bias When we talked about members, we used the numbers they had on their t-shirts The Boyz have a lot of members The stage was full And my mind was also full of them, as you can see Since I cannot sto

p singing this song But Giddy up is very catchy It's a very... K-pop boyish song With a positive energy They brought a lot of positive energy to this show Everything went even better afterwards It was a group that has a concert a few days after we leave Korea So unfortunately, we cannot participate in it But they went on stage and I had only one thought in my mind: I can see them so I don't feel sad that I won't see their concert anymore We saw The Rose live! It is one of my favorite rock groups

! It was really a big thing... If IN2IT's performance is on the 1st place for me, then The Rose is second What they do live on stage... Their voices live! THEIR VOICES LIVE I had tears in my eyes The sound of Woosung's voice... I just fell in love! First of all... I really appreciate idols who can play the instruments and sing well at the same time It a typical thing for rock bands, though But The Rose sounds like this... All the members have such a good voices! I have no idea why didn't I faint

I have no idea how did I survive The Show - There is a really funny situation... - Oh no Carol told me once... Something like... They have such amazing voices! Different voices Their voices are so different from the other idols! And I heard 'hair' instead of 'voices' (the words for 'hair' and 'voices' are similar in Polish) And then I continued the conversation saying: did you see Ravi's hair? His hair didn't move at all, they used so much hair laquer on him! For Carol it seemed quite natural t

hat I suddenly changed the topic to Ravi's hair And she meant their voices... We came back to the conversation 4 days later When we talked about The Rose again And then Ann told me that I like their hair I had no idea what was she talking about And it turns out that we both meant their voices This kind of situation but we solved it well But The Rose is really amazing Love, love, love, love them! I would go to their concert But their hair is also good Our episode was very manly There was only one

girlsband in this episode, BADKIZ and their song 'Just one day' I heard this song for the first time during The Show But girls impressed me a lot! You should check them out if you are not a fan of cute, sweet songs This song wasn't cute and sweet at all We did not know girls before But we really liked them! We had a lot of positive vibes after their performances But it was the only girlsband in this episode and it was very surprising for us Maybe they knew we were coming Definitely! This is why

they invited only boygroups... BUT WHAT BOYGROUPS, OH MY GOD. But there was also one more soloist - Eric Nam! With his new comeback and... I think I fell in love - You think? - I think I'm in love I wouldn't say you think. You are definitely in love But I'm seriously in love! Eric Nam live... First of all, he is very, very handsome Second of all... He is very talented His song... It's another song that sticks into my mind and I cannot get rid of it The choreography... ve! Wow! Really... Yeah, he's amazing I will not tell you anything more about him, Eric Nam is just amazing We saw a big amount of our favorite groups SNUPER, IMFACT, IN2IT, SAMUEL, Eric Nam... But we were hoping for one more group They had a comeback recently Or rather they started to promote another song from the newest album NCT Black on Black Carol said that there were cameras everywhere and everything could be seen on the big screen - The Show live on TV Including all the ads and everything

that can be seen on TV NCT was also announced It meant that NCT is going to perform in this episode But here comes the problem of prerecording Other groups recorded their performances earlier and the came to The Show anyway, but NCT didn't appear there We saw their performance live but on the screen, recorded a few hours earlier Just like we were watching it on television Not like we're taking a part of the music show where they theoretically perform So we felt kind of disappointed at first Bec

ause all the other groups came and NCT didn't So we felt disappointed How unfortunate it is that one of our favorite groups... My favorite group! Didn't come Okay, we felt sad We really felt sad But we liked their performance Yeah, the prerecorded performance was amazing Just like the rest of Black on Black performances When I found out that NCT will promote Black on Black... I've been praying for them to perform with this song live! Unfortunately, they didn't come to The Show It was sad But aft

er NCT, we saw VIXX live I repaired the mistakes of my past We both did The group we couldn't see live in Poland And we really love VIXX It is something we did not want to talk about till now We regretted not going to their concert in Poland But we finally saw them live And the comeback with Scentist (sorry for the bad pronunciation) was played on the back screen And VIXX performed their second song I was looking at N for the whole time VIXX live! It is a one huge WOW This performance was a proo

f for the fact that not going to their concert in Poland was the biggest mistake we've ever made!
