Flying fish can make powerful, self-propelled leaps out of water into air, where their long, wing-like fins enable gliding flight for considerable distances. It appears these Flying Fish are in a no win situation, picked off above the surface by Frigatebird's and devoured underwater by the Dorado. I think the flying fish has all the rights to say life is unfair.
Predators: exist Flying fish: "You won't let me swim, you won't let me fly"
Poor guys, hunted from below and above. They flew so beautifully.
These cameramen (or women) deserve awards for what they have captured on film. Literally incredible!
Flying fish: "wind of freedom, fly me to safety!" Frigate Bird: "wow, speedy meal delivery on the wing!"
If you're having a bad day, just remember you could have been a flying fish.
They flew very beautifully, like a bird. It's interesting to see their mechanism of flight and dive.
Bros were like ‘imma evolve wings to help me survive from these predators in the liquid’ just to be an easy meal for birds
Man : life is really rough Flying fish : wanna swap with me?
This fish is the most absurdly science-fiction looking thing, but is also beautiful
Flying Fish: "I am free!" Eagle: "Free food!"
0:22 They really have a way of making nature look and feel so gorgeous
That moment when you realized you’ve become emotionally invested in the survival of fish
Such incredible fish that have ability to create themselves extra predator.
This just became one of the most iconic shots in the Planet Earth series.
So sad they have so much predators. What beautiful creatures. The animals in the ocean really adopt not by the environment but by the predators.
The most toughest example of life I had ever seen before.
Flyingfish: Why are we here just to suffer?
