hello everyone and welcome to another video review
this time we're going to be reviewing Forbidden Planet the 1956 classic sci-fi film starring
Walter Pidgeon and Francis and Leslie Nielsen when the movie begins the starship c57 d which
is a united planets starship is headed from earth to the planet altair for which is in orbit around
the star altair which is about 16 light-years from Earth once the reach altair-4 they get in contact
with dr. Edward Morbius played by Walter Pidgeon who want
s them not to land but commander john
adams who is played by Leslie Nielsen lands anyway commander Adams and his two lieutenants met by
rabid robot who takes them to meet dr. Morbius where they get introduced to altaira who is
dr. Mobius daughter played by Anne Francis while waited for instruction from Earth commander
Adams visits dr. Mobius who tells him about the Krell the beans that once inhabited that planet
he then shows him the many wonders of the Krell civilization that still exists
later a creature
attacks them for the first time when it leaves the people they make preparations and when
it attacks again they fight it but to no avail when it leaves this time they go to dr.
Morbius to try and get some answers from him the creature begins attacking them and the
retreat deeper into the laboratory where dr. Morbius confronts the creature the movie
ends with the captain and alt IVA and Robbie the robot all on the starship headed back to
earth as our tier 4 is being destroy
ed this move is a classic in a sense fiction film genre
it is the first to show many of the scenes you see in that movie has been duplicated in films
such as Star Wars series such as Babylon 5 it's also one of the few to have a monster of that
type in it and it is also one of the few one of the first to show the planet eventually blowing
up my recommendation if you have not seen this movie then you should get it and watch it it's a
