adies and gentlemen that's enough foreplay let's dive straight in to the action so here we are ladies and gentlemen this is the bit where we're gonna rank every single goalkeeper we do have five categories that they potentially could go into essential basically meaning I think these are the key goalkeepers you're gonna need on your draft great pick I think these players are still good but not as good as the essential ones differential these players are super low owned and could have a really rea
lly good start to the season mid I mean it's pretty self-explanatory what that is and then avoid our players you do not want to be having in your game week one draft in any circumstance at all ladies and gentlemen so I think we're just going to dive straight in we have about 20 I think goalkeepers to go through here there's quite a lot I have excluded the Burnley goalkeepers because it seems like that's a bit of a mess at the moment there's I think three of them kicking about don't really fancy
going through them and I don't think you want them and Luton and uh Sheffield United goalkeepers bin them off as well they're not goalkeepers that you want to have in your side they would all be in the avoid categories so that one clears that one but let's just dive straight in ladies and gentlemen first goalkeeper on the list is Jose SAR now for me I'm putting Jose SAR in the avoid category it has been an interesting summer for wolves obviously there was the report the other day that they've ha
d to get a 99 million pound loan from the government to kind of pay people that's never good when that happens they haven't really signed anyone off the top of my head obviously they've sold Nathan Collins as well who I think is an excellent Defender and will do brilliantly at Burnley there's reports as well that Jose saw is potentially leaving wolves Nottingham forests are interested and a few clubs in Europe as well so he might not even be in the game come game week one so I think it's a reall
y easy avoid it seems like for me I'm gonna put my money on this wolves are going to be down at the bottom this season potentially even relegated they've not really added any quality to their side and they've lost some key players as well Reuben Neves and Collins being the two of them so I think defensively wolves aren't going to be a good side this year and at 5 million there are plenty of other better goalkeepers at the 4.5 and 5 million range moving on to our next one and it is Alison he's go
ing straight in the mid category I don't think he's a bad pick I think if you want to go for him it's acceptable but for me you'd rather have like a Trent in your side I don't think Alison is like worthy of the 5.5 million price tag yes he makes a lot of saves yes he does extremely well on the bonus point system but by saving that you could easily Implement Tren who is going to do miles miles better than Allison but like again he is just a mid goalkeeper pick if he was about on the 5 million lik
e price tag he'd definitely be getting himself into the essential category but he's not he's 5.5 so he's going in the mid category with Margot Robbie moving on to our next goalkeeper goalkeeper sorry and it is Ariola now I'm gonna go great pick for this one if he's going to be your bench goalkeeper because obviously there are reports that he might be getting the number one Jersey this season it's still up in the air West Ham did play their first friendly fabiansky started Arreola wasn't even in
the squad he had a really good Europa League campaign last year so you know what point does he kind of earn himself that number one goalkeeper pick French International as well and at 4 million I think he's a good just bench option to have there is only one other four million goalkeeper who we will come on to talk about a little bit later that might make it as a first team goalkeeper so I think Ariola is a good pick for your bench not for your starting goalkeeper just for your bench he frees up
that extra 0.5 million as well if you're going for the kind of the two 4.5 million slots and could easily lead you to upgrading to a 5 million goalkeeper right but the Bergen I think his name is he is going in the avoids for me now I don't think this guy is a bad goalkeeper not in the slightest I think this guy's an excellent goalkeeper I've seen some of the serbs he's been making out in andelect became their first team goalkeeper at the age of 20 as well so really really impressive obviously Br
ighton signed for quite a hefty fee as well so you do imagine he is gonna be wearing the number one Jersey but again this is such a hard situation to call where is the line because steel finished the season quite well they've also got Sanchez as well who was kicking about so that's three top quality goalkeepers at one club for me I've put him in their voice because we don't know whether or not he's going to be starting and then obviously if he doesn't start the season well then he you know it ge
ts dropped there's obviously steel there's Sanchez you just don't want them headaches I think it's easier just to avoid the Brighton goalkeepers as a whole so I'm going to Chuck stealing at this point as well I think it's easier just to avoid them and go for someone like astropinan at 5 million dunks at 5 million as well I think it's a lot easier to go for them than go for the goalkeeper slot from Brighton just because it's such like up in the air who's going to be wearing the number one Jersey
if one of them does get it and then starts making errors there is so much quality within their side that they could easily be replaced as well so I just don't think it's worth the headache easy avoid for me next goalkeeper is Edison he's going straight in the avoids as well 5.5 million absolute troll Master himself yes City have a really good defense but you might as well just save that extra 0.5 million and personally go and get a kanji and Edison doesn't pick up save points as well just down t
o the fact how like effective Manchester City's defense are so he's not going to be getting save points not going to be earning himself up the bonus point system as well 5.5 million not worth a penny at all right the next goalkeepers we're gonna do these two as a pair I think you could have these two as a pair and it is Johnson and gaita both under 1.5 owned both of these goalkeepers Johnson did finish the season as the first team goalkeeper for Crystal Palace last season but guy to start of the
Season as number one so you could have both of these at least you know in that way one of them is gonna be playing every single week Palace as well under Roy Hodgson actually put up some really good defensive statistics at once he was appointed and even in his last spell as well defensively they were one of the best teams so I think for the combination of these two good opening fixtures as well Sheffield United in game week one and well I like these two as a potential differential not really se
eing too many people have it I think obviously down to the fact that you could easily go and get a guy eater or an Anderson at 4.5 is potentially putting people off but I can't believe how low owned these two goalkeepers are as a pair I think it's under three percent owned for like both of them to get ever so that is absolutely incredible to kind of have right Dean Henderson is the next one he's going in the mid category now the reason we're putting him in the um the mid category at the moment i
s we don't know what the kind of situation is I imagine he's gonna leave uh Manchester United and go back to Forest with them signing Oh Nana so you do imagine he's gonna go back out Nottingham Forest fixtures on the best he is a good penalty saver though so he's definitely a player that if he does go to Forest might be an option in us in our first wild card or even our second wild card when he obviously kind of returns to regular playing football as well but at this moment in time he's an easy
mid he's not a bad pick if he moves to Forest but he's not a great pick there is plenty of other goalkeepers who I would rather much have in my team over uh Dean Henderson but at some point I think he will be a potential option right moving on to another mid a lot of mid players in here a lot of mids a lot of Battle of the mids in this video uh it's kepa 5 million quite extortionate for a defense that last season was atrocious yes keppel was a highlight during times of it but to put him at 5 mil
lion I think puts him out of a lot of people's thought process and bracket as well Chelsea you know don't have the worst fixtures uh after game week two but you know do we really want to be paying 5 million for a goalkeeper when we could get a chillwell of James at an extra 0.5 million who have so much more attacking potential I just don't think he Val he's good value at five million other goalkeepers around that 5 million price who we are going to come on to talk about are much better options t
han Kappa yes he picks up saves yes he picks up bonuses we don't know what that Chelsea defense is going to be like we don't know how long it's going to be before they are seen it as a solid defense just not worth it for that 5 million price tag Right Moving On and keeping with the London theme it is Leno now I'm gonna go great pick for Lano I I you know don't have any kind of issues with people going for Lano don't think he's essential but think he's just a great pick he's not mid he's a good p
rice point 4.5 million doesn't seem to be too much competition around in the Fulham Squad as well had a really good season for them kind of Reviving his Premier League career a little bit last season picked up plenty of bonus points I think he saved a penalty as well obviously my only concern is with the Fulham defense they have lost quite a few players as well in terms of their squad maybe looking at mitrovic going looks like Willian has go into Forest at the time of recording as well so their
squad is going to be a little bit weaker but but ladies and gentlemen I think for 4.5 million the fixtures aren't the best but it's just a good solid pick I have no like issues with Leno as a goalkeeper I think if you wanted to go for him you're pretty much gonna guarantee that you've got yourself a playing goalkeeper every single week it's just whether or not you feel Fulham can keep enough clean sheets to make it worth that 4.5 million but I think he's a good pick right moving on to our next o
ne and I'm gonna go with Emmy Martinez now I think he's also gonna make the great pick not quite in the essential category but I think he's going to be in a great pick spoke about him yesterday in my differentials video that I did film if you want to go see that go check it out on the channel as always where we highlighted like I think it was nine differentials that you potentially could put in your game week one drafts some really good picks in there so do go check that video out Emmy Martinez
one that I highlighted under 10 owned 5 million for him yes is a little bit expensive but World Cup winning goalkeeper has penalty saving ability good shot stopper as well and Villa have some nice fixtures as well after the Newcastle game and after Emery's appointment really solidified that defense so it's definitely something that you want to see within a kind of defensive unit they've also added quality to that defensive unit as well pal Torres coming in really really solidifying them as poten
tially one of like the better defenses in the league and I think if you wanted to go and get a villa player in your team Martinez would be at the top of my list so I'm gonna put him in great pick but not quite making it in to essential rights next up we're gonna go with natto he's gonna make it in the um mid category again those question marks around whether or not he's going to be playing with Travis starting the first preseason game against Hibernian but I do think it would be Neto I think he
was a lot more solid after he came in over Travers but again there's question marks around this one so he's gonna go in the mid category as well boom if we don't know what they're going to be like last uh this season last season defensively weren't exceptional and I think 4 4.5 million you could get a goalkeeper from a better defense I think as well we'll we'll deal with Travers in a minute actually because I think if he's playing it definitely boosts him up as a potential option so come on to t
alk about him in a minute but Neto is gonna make it in the mid category right new signing ladies and gentlemen it is Onana deal looks to be pretty much done bar like the Fabrizio Romano here we go it's pretty much looks sealed done oh nana 5 million I think is gonna be an essential pick in your game week one drafts I'm gonna try and get him in my team I think obviously a lot of people have had Luke Shaw he's at 5.5 million yes he does offer that little bit of attacking intent and is a bonus Poin
t magnet but if we wanted to save that extra for 0.5 million get a solid goalkeeper like an honor Bish bash Bosh in he goes I think he will be an essential goalkeeper to have at that 5 million price point for me I think he's an exceptional goalkeeper who could be leading the way in terms of fantasy points this season playing for an improved Manchester United defense as well they'll obviously have Iran and Martinez back so that is a pretty solid back line and an honor at 5 million I think that's
what they're gonna price him out if they put him up 5.5 he's going straight in the mid category but if he's priced at 5 million I think he is an essential goalkeeper to have in your game week one draft right moving on to a player who is quite highly owned at the moment it is Jordan Pickford we're whacking him straight in the mid category I do not understand why this man is in a lot of people's teams it's absolutely ludicrous ladies and gentlemen 4.5 million yeah is fine whatever is a playing goa
lkeeper there isn't too much competition but that ever in defense is shambolic and they haven't added any quality they've actually lost defensive players does potentially look like they're going to sign Johnny Evans yep it'll be fit for about two minutes I think it's going to be a long season forever and they don't have the money to go buy reinforcements Pickford arguably is too good for that Squad but in terms of FPL we're looking for the defensive unit as a whole to be able to keep his clean s
heets yay might pick up some save points and a few bonus points along the way but there's so many other better goalkeeper options than Pickford I do not understand why people are putting them in their team if you have him in your team get him out or explain in the comment section why you have him in your team there are so many better options ladies and gentlemen avoid Jordan Pickford right Nick Pope he's going in the avoid category 5.5 million for him last season was a fantastic goalkeeper this
year overpriced isn't a 5.5 million yes Newcastle did have one of the best defenses in the leagues in terms of goals conceded but this year you imagine it's probably going to be a little bit different with Champions League football new additions to the squad as well and 5.5 million you're probably not getting your money's worth in terms of having him as an asset in your team I think for 5 million you can go get a player like Martinez or Onana or the next man we're going to come on to talk about
as well just makes more sense easier void for me is Nick Pope right ramsdale he's going in the essential category as well with Onana 5 million to get in to one of the best defenses in the league they're gonna have Saliba back as well looks like they're gonna add Timber don't already know what's going off with the paperwork with that one good Defender good Defender good goalkeeper good shot stopper as well will pick up plenty of clean sheets especially in that good period at the start of the Seas
on where Arsenal do have so many good fixtures as well ladies and gentlemen so I think he's going in the essential category currently in my game week one draft and potentially should be in yours unless you've got Gabrielle and if you have Gabrielle go on honor simple as that ladies and gentlemen right next goalkeeper is David rayer right we're going to talk about the two goalkeepers at Brentford I'm putting both in a void at the moment now the reason is I've seen a lot of people have flecken I t
hink looking at his kind of data set from the Bundesliga really good goalkeeper have no issues but the reason he's going in a void is very similar situation with the Brighton one David rayer is potentially not going to be leaving the club it looked like Manchester United and Spurs were the two Front Runners they didn't want to meet the valuation of 40 million for the goalkeeper which is very fair considering he's going into his last year of his contract no one else has really kind of put themsel
ves in the race for David rare So I imagine he's potentially just going to be staying at Brentford for a season running his contract down and then moving on so what do they do with him do they play him do they don't play him do they play this new goalkeeper that they've signed for quite a bit of money there are so many question marks about who's going to be the number one goalkeeper there I imagine it's going to be flacking with a kind of long-term view in mind and just let David rare rot on the
bench and play Cup games that's what I imagine but until we see it I don't think it's worth the risk going for the Brantford double up yes they are a really good defense I think in the game week 9 wild card when we have a clearer picture of who the number one is he will be well flecken or rare will be a really good pick at that point but at this moment in time not worth the hassle pick a solid goalkeeper who is going to be playing don't try and go for one of these 4.5s who like might play pick
a solid goalkeeper who's gonna play It's one less headache to worry about and it means you don't have to use a transfer in the first few game weeks which is so precious especially when you're trying to chase the inform players you don't want to be kind of having to bring a goalkeeper in because you've picked the wrong one so for me avoid avoid for them too right next one Travers he's going in the differential category now the reason I've done this is the fact that it is 4 million if he can secur
e the place over Pedro now and start great 4 million absolutely banging very similar situation with Ariola and Travers if they are the starting goalkeepers at 4 million excellent picks for the bench I've seen absolutely nobody have this man everybody has had areola maybe it's Travis turn to get a start similar theme as well is with the next goalkeeper is Bentley from wolves I think it's what's his name is it George or David could be completely wrong with both of them accounts but yeah Bentley ve
ry similar situation with Jose SAR potentially looking to leave lack of money in terms of wolves transfer Kitty and the fact that he did finish the season with two games as well as Jose sarg's form just fell off a cliff I remember that Brighton game they were abysmal ladies and gentlemen so Bentley again could be a good formerly and goalkeeper pick not really seen too many people speak about this one as well so I think you've got a good free goalkeepers there to potentially go out as your backup
goalkeeper on the bench kind of wait and see how preseason goes see which one is getting potential game time and then yeah I think just pick whichever one you feel has the most potential to earn himself a number one Jersey this year and then you can get yourself a ramsdale and an honor that would be a really nice appearing of goalkeepers right moving on to our second to last goal and it is um vicaro we're gonna go with vicaro he is Spurs new goalkeeper who they've signed from emplay um do I put
him in a void or do I put him in the mid let's go mid I don't think he's in a void I think he's just a mid goalkeeper five million quite pricey not proven Premier League obviously Spurs as well haven't been a great defense over the past few seasons ped poro at the same price has so much attacking potential as well it just makes more sense to go that route so I think he's just a mid goalkeeper I think if Spurs have a really good start to the season and maybe we look at it in game week nine eight
whenever we're going to be playing our Wild Card around that time period Then he might emerge himself as a potential option but at this moment in time he's a very mid pick not a lot of people have him 5 million for a defense that isn't great and doesn't have a great opening two fixtures easy easy into the mid category right next goalkeeper is fabianski I'm gonna put him in the does he go avoid or does he go mid um we're gonna go with mid we'll go mid here's our last goalkeeper we are going to t
alk about again it's this situation of who's going to be playing the number one goalkeeper I don't think fabianski has done absolutely anything wrong to be demoted from the number one goalkeeper pick but with those question marks in mind again I just don't think it's worth going for him but he is a good goalkeeper West Ham weren't the best defense last season but on the underlying data was very good for XG conceded so maybe there might be an uptick this season who knows fingers crossed um let's
