the maps media Institute in partnership with Stoke Montana is hosting a two-day film Workshop in Townsen primarily for Broadwater County and towns and kids the workshop is free and it gives youth aged 14 and up some hands-on experience with cameras editing interviewing and other related skills over the two-day course the kids will create a film about what the youth skills empowerment organization of stoke is Tina Homan the vice president of stoke says that these skills the kids learn can benefit
them in the long run when looking toward Ward the future I think this is an opportunity not just to learn how to use a camera but it's also going to be a great thing to put on their future resumés um it can provide community service hours to the kids um it will also help with scholarships the workshop will take place March 8th and 9th in Townsen pre-registration for the workshop is required parental consent is also required all equipment is provided it was definitely a windy day today's peak wi
nd gust were over 35 M hour in most locations with some locations even seeing wind gust over 60 M hour during the day today the strongest wind gust today was in Livingston this morning with a peak wind gust of 92 milph we are still dealing with Gusty winds right now sustained wind speeds are currently between 10 and 30 miles per hour in a lot of spots but the wind is a little bit weaker in The Valleys including in the Helena Valley was also a lot warmer today than it has been over the past coupl
e of days as highs we're in the 40s and the lower 50s and right now we're in the mid to upper 30s and low to mid 40s so it still feels pretty nice outside we are going to have mild temperatures tomorrow we're going to continue to have Gusty to strong winds around as well a cold front is then going to work way Eastward across our area as we head into tomorrow evening and tomorrow night and I'll let you know how that cold front is going to impact our weather in my full forecast in a little bit
