Herobrine. Not. Exists! - Or does it still exist? - Okay, I won’t speed
it all up again. A little over a year ago,
I already sorted everything out in this video. I advise you to look. Today, I want to tell you
about none other than “FROM THE FOG” - a peculiar phenomenon
that makes Minecraft players leave
their worlds in horror and never enter them again. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating,
but in fact, “From The Fog” is a gorgeous datapack
or mod that adds that same Herobrine from
those same creepypas
tas that you read on the Internet. At the same time, he will do it,
not clumsily at all, but just so that the blood in his veins
freezes. Okay, let's talk about everything
in order. As I said earlier, “From
The Fog” can be installed as a mod or as a datapack
- they are no different in their content. It depends only on the convenience of the
installation itself. After the player has installed
it, the world does not seem strange, but this is only
at first glance. All the horror starts
after 3 days
. Why exactly the third day? — It’s not entirely clear, most
likely in these three days the player will already have time to obtain the
resources he needs, as well as build a minimal shelter. Until the third day - you will
live a quiet life, only occasionally encountering
strange structures. There are 10 of them in total. Among them you can find: a leafless
grove - this is a kind of forest consisting of trees
without foliage. These are mainly oak and birch. Redstone torches can be found on thes
e trees
. Felled trees - yes
, this is also considered a structure. There are 4 types of them: acacia,
birch, oak and pine. You will not find large felled trees,
such as dark oak, tropical wood, and so on
. Perhaps they will add it in the future. A pyramid made of mossy cobblestones
is one of the most typical buildings that Herobrine left behind
, in almost all creepypastas. A pyramid of sand in the ocean
- to be honest, I have never heard of Herobrine
leaving something like this in the cano
n creepypastas,
but perhaps this is an innovation from the developers themselves. A sand pyramid is
also a typical building. It differs from the previous one in
its size and position. Redstone Torch Trail
- From time to time, around the world you will see several
torches arranged in a row. Overall, I only encountered
three torches. A torch in a cave - this is what
this structure is called in the game files. This is a small cave measuring
approximately 6 by 10 blocks, in the center of which ther
e is
one redstone torch. There are also exactly three
types of tunnels. A dark tunnel measuring
2 by 1 block, exactly the same, only with redstone torches,
and the third, last one - measuring 2 by 2, sometimes
with torches, sometimes without. All of these structures, except for the
huge sand pyramid in the ocean, are canonical to the
Herobrine story. Again, I do not exclude the possibility
that I simply missed the moment where
such a huge pyramid appeared. That is, the player can encounter all
these structures at the very beginning of the game. After the third day, the
“fun” begins. The first thing that awaits you
is someone standing behind you. From time to time, Herobrine
will appear behind you and look at you. It is difficult to notice him, but
if you turn around sharply , you will notice him. He won't do anything to you. Then he will conduct surveillance. If you are
attentive enough, Herobrine will appear not far from the border of your drawing and just watch what you
are doing. A
s soon as you try to
approach him, he will try to hide from you. The game has, let's say, a slight
complication. If you build a canonical
summoning totem, Herobrine will appear much more
often. To build it you will
need 9 gold blocks or mossy cobblestones,
four redstone torches, as well as netzerrak. To activate it,
you will need to set fire to Nezzerak. After this, he will begin
to act more actively. Another unpleasant moment
is that it will make sounds as it approaches you. The first time I
heard this was
when I was rummaging through a chest and really got a little
scared. I just didn’t expect
that he could run up to me. Naturally, I didn’t see it,
and I’m unlikely to see it; most likely, the sound of walking is simply being reproduced here
. The next thing that struck me
was crash games. How it works? After Herobrine
appears, you need to run up to him as quickly as possible
and try to hit him. After this, some kind of lag will occur
, the game screen will darken and Minecraft wil
l simply stop
responding to any actions, at the end Windows will show a
Java error. How did they do it? I have no idea. But this is really really cool. By default this is disabled
in the mod's configuration. Then, from time to time,
wooden doors may open
and close on their own. Especially when you are
close to them. One of the most unpleasant
things is setting your base on fire. This is also disabled by default. With a small chance, Herobrine
can set fire to the blocks near your bed and thus
sta
rt a fire. You can protect yourself from this by
building a house from non-flammable materials. The next thing he will do
is destroy your torches. I note that not all the torches,
but only a small part of them. Some will remain hanging
in their places. Most likely, destruction
also occurs by analyzing your bed. When you go to
bed, the game will constantly say that there
are monsters near you. At the same time, monsters
will not be visible anywhere. This is also the tricks of Herobrine. This way
you won't
see him, but know that he is somewhere nearby. Another unpleasant feature
is the replacement of torches and lanterns. Sometimes, instead of destroying
all these blocks, Herobrine, on the contrary, will try to
replace them with their “sinister” counterpart. That is, ordinary torches
become redstone torches, and lanterns become soul lanterns. In addition, if you have
lit candles, he will put them out too. There is nothing to replace them with, but
it’s somehow insulting for him to blow
out the candles
on the cake, not on his birthday. One of the creepiest things
is watching through a window. It's scary as hell. You are sitting at home,
doing something and accidentally notice how he is looking at you. At the same time, he will not do anything, he will
not even touch you with a finger. But as soon as you turn away,
he will immediately disappear. Near your base, or
where you have been for a very long time , you may come across creepy
signs with different inscriptions. By default,
they will be
written in the language in which you play. But in the settings you can choose
what appears to be an encrypted message - In fact, the text
will simply be written in Swedish. But overall, the inscriptions are cause for
concern. Herobrine isn't that bad. He can leave you
pleasant gifts in the chest. In fact, they are called
“terrifying gifts” - by the way, I didn’t come up with that. If you think that there
will be diamonds and gold there, then I hasten to disappoint you. There will b
e a redstone torch
with the inscription “Help” and “I see you”, 11 plates
with the inscription “You are not alone”, mossy cobblestones and rotten
flesh. Not the best gifts,
but fish for lack of fish and cancer. There are also nightmares from Herobrine. Sometimes, when the player goes to
bed, Herobrine may appear in front of him . As if causing
sleep paralysis in the game character. When I first saw this, I
put one brick aside. The second to last thing he will
do is relight the fire on his
totem.
That is, if suddenly you or the
rain puts out the fire, then Herobrine will set the
netherrak block back on fire. The last, most unpleasant
thing is the spirit of a dead miner. When you stay
in the cave for a long time, Herobrine may come to
you and start digging blocks near you. You may even notice it. It’s very creepy, sometimes it’s scary in caves
without Herobrine, and knowing that he’s somewhere nearby
only increases the degree of horror. By the way, you can even choose the
Herobrine skin
. There are 25 of them in total: regular,
classic, black-eyed, Enitity 303, Glitch, Null, Lunar Eclips
(this is the name of the team that created this mod), Ghost,
Zombie, nullified, faceless, distorted, Alex,
Face, from the Fallen Kingdom video, infected with a rolling pin, Netherbreen, Wanderer of
Distant Lands, Headless, Woodcutter Jack, Smiling,
Grim Reaper, White Eyes, White Pumpkin from the game Story
Mode. If nothing from this list
attracts you, you can use a custom
skin. You can load a
s many as 5
pieces. This mod has its own unique
achievements. It's very strange, but
they are disabled by default. You need to enable them in the
mod configuration. There are 23 of them in total. From the fog - automatically
executed after enabling in the configuration. There are as many as 5 achievements
related to the number of days lived in Minecraft
with this mod - 3 days, 10 days, 50, 100 and 200. Am I really in a single player game? - to do this you need to meet
any structure from this mod
. I don't remember doing this
- you need to find any tree cut down by Herobrine. Lava has nothing to do with it - you need to
find a leafless grove of trees. I'm not going there - I need to
find the tunnel dug by Herobrine. Who put this here? — must receive a terrifying
gift from our persecutor. It communicates - for this
you need to receive a gift from Herobrine with some kind of inscription. Light in the Dark - can
only be obtained by one player with the nickname “Librarian”
Literally cool -
just like the previous one, can
only be obtained by a player with the nickname “Comical Bonzo”
What have you done? — you need to build a
Herobrine totem. This is not a cow - you need to see
Herobrine for the first time. Everything is fine? - you need to hear how the tamed
wolf whines from the presence of Herobrine. What was that? — you need to see Herobrine
who is digging something in the mine. To hell with you, this is mine! — you need to pick up the redstone
torch in the cave. Just a bad dream
! - Herobrine should come
to you when you go to bed. Behind you - you need to see the jump scare for the first time
. What!? — you need to see
Herobrine dancing. He's Watching - Can be completed
when Herobrine watches you for the first time . As I said earlier, this
mod or data pack has fine-tuning through the
configuration. To do this, you need to enter a
special command into the chat: /function fromthefog:admin/config. You can easily customize
every aspect of Herobrine. I would like to point o
ut that the setup is done
very nicely and conveniently. There are 6 pages in total, which
can be easily switched using the green bar
at the bottom. At the very beginning, we can
disable the beginning of the pursuit of the player, or select the number of
days after which Herobrine will begin to scare the player. As I said before,
we have some mechanics that are disabled by default. For example, setting the base on fire. This is where you can
enable this option. By the way, it’s very good that
it
is disabled; I don’t think all players are ready to say goodbye
to their home. Then, what I said,
choosing a skin. Click on the head icons
and select the skin you need . Or you can choose a
personalized skin, for example, yours or your
friend’s. What I liked was the
choice of language. If you enable “hidden
language”, he will leave signs in Swedish. It is possible to disable
the screamer, it appears if you get too close
to Herobrine, but then if you turn on “crash games”,
nothing will work. The
re is also an original
totem - the ability to turn on lightning when calling
Herobrine. In my opinion, this option
should always be enabled. This is canon after all. You can also include a name
above the head - this will allow the above Herobrine's head,
or you can include an encrypted name. Looks nice too. As I said, you can enable
achievements that for some reason are disabled by default. The last, dangerous setting is
“Control” - when you give everything into the hands of Herobrine. Then he w
ill be able to change
every parameter of the mod as he pleases. Very convenient and subtle
mod settings, everyone can easily choose
what they like. “From The Fog” is a perfect
example of how to revive a classic. Herobrine is still an integral
part of the history of the development of Minecraft as a gaming
phenomenon, so such sensitive attention to detail
has borne fruit in the popularization of this mod. All links are in the description as always

cha
nnel, telegram, like and write, have
you played with this mod? Watch these videos,
they are also interesting. We 'll hear from you again, because we're opening
Minecraft in a new way! Here we have the
option to choose the chance of Herobrine appearing: Often, infrequently
and rarely. Enable or disable the
start of player pursuit. Or choose the number of
days after which Herobrine will scare the player. Will Herobrine be able to open
your doors in the game. Will he wait
until the player turns ar
ound and then disappear? Then two similar points,
will Herobrine follow the player, if so, will
this happen from very long distances. You can disable disappearing
torches, this is when Herobrine will destroy ordinary
torches in your house and replace them with redstone ones. You can just set the
house on fire, that is, Herobrine will try to
burn it down when you are not at home. A detection sound will
play when the player detects Herobrine. Eyes in the dark -
no need to explain. They will glow
in the dark. What I was saying is that you can
choose Herobrine's skin and turn him into a completely
different character. What I liked was the
choice of language. If you enable “hidden
language” he will chat in Swedish. It is possible to disable
the screamer, it appears if you get too close
to Herobrine, but then if you turn on “crash games”,
nothing will work. You can also choose the duration of
the fade when he is following the player, or when
he is simply standing behind him. The maximum t
ime is 2
seconds. There is also insomnia, this is
when Herobrine is not visible, but he prevents the player from sleeping. Each time the player clicks on the bed, he
sees a message that there are monsters nearby. Terrible gifts - well, these are
the same gifts in the chests from Herobrine. They are not scary, naturally,
but you can turn it off. Crimson Curse - is responsible
for replacing ordinary torches with redstone ones, and lanterns
with soul lanterns. The original totem is
the ability to
turn on lightning when summoning Herobrine. Nightmares will
allow Herobrine to appear before us
during sleep. Window Observer - is responsible
for Herobrine's ability to monitor you through the windows of
your house. Extinguishing Candles - Allows
Herobrine to extinguish those candles that the player has lit. Ominous Signs - This
option will change the appearance of signs during
certain events. The sixth sense is, firstly, a
reference to the Shyamalan film of the same name , I highly
recommend
you watch it, and secondly, it is responsible for the
reaction of pets to the appearance of Herobrine. Totem fire - determines
whether Herobrine will light a fire on a dead totem. Achievements - I don’t know why
they are disabled by default, but this option is responsible
for additional achievements related to Herobrine. Footsteps behind are the same
sounds that the player will hear behind him in caves
or throughout the world. At the top of the totem - is responsible
for the appearance of Herobr
ine on the totem after its activation. Miner's Ghost is a rather
creepy feature that allows
Herobrine to dig tunnels when you are in a cave.
