now a look at gas prices which have jumped over the past couple of days as people head out on spring break or Easter road trips we talked to Patrick danan from gas budy today about the spike he tells us that price hikes happen every one to two weeks Dean goes on to say that the wholesale price of gas is below its 2024 high but he's also watching the price of oil which is the highest since October of last year I'm hoping that we'll be able to avoid the $4 a gallon Mark prices today and GR Rapids
well pretty similar to what we saw a year ago before the hike we were at about 360 in Grand Rapids well actually 354 a week ago which is only about four cents above where we were last year so um things are a little bit above now with the jump and prices but all in all prices this year are going to be very similar to last year the Han recommends shopping around for the cheapest gas because there are a few stations in Cascade and Kentwood defying the increase with gas prices below 3 30 a gallon do
