Genesis Connected Services is a connected
car solution that combines in-car features with online remote access and mobile
app functionality. Many electric vehicles,
or EV, specific features can be easily accessed through the Genesis
Intelligent Assistant Mobile app, which is available in both the Apple
iOS and Google Play app stores. The Genesis Intelligent Assistant app
allows you to view EV battery charge level, start or stop charging when plugged in,
and view charging settings. The app is als
o accessible using
compatible smartwatches and other devices to provide remote control functions
right at your fingertips. The estimated range area shows how much
driving range is left in your vehicle, and allows you to find nearby EV
charging stations. You can search by distance,
view charging level and speed, check availability, and send the directions
directly to your in-car navigation system. For deeper EV charging station
search capability, use your in-vehicle navigation system
to find and
filter between nearby Level two AC, Level three DC, and level
three DC plus fast charging stations. Schedule charging is also accessible
through the app. To set a charging schedule
and schedule pre-heat or pre cooling of the cabin. From the app home page,
you will see large icons for Lights and Horn, Lock and
Unlock, and Climate Start, which is used for pre-cooling
or pre-heating the cabin before departure. Press Climate Start to pre-heat or pre-cool your Genesis using preset combinations of the
cabin temperature, duration, defrosters, and seat heating or cooling.
To customize any of the presets, press the arrow icon to see settings
and turn on functions, or set temperatures. Press apply changes to preset when finished
adjusting any preset. You can also select Climate Start
without presets to customize one off settings
that will not be saved as a preset. Press Start Climate to turn on the climate
control system to your desired settings. It's beneficial to pre-cool or pre-heat
your cabi
n while your EV is charging in order to maximize battery percentage
before departure. From the app home screen, press Lock and Unlock to view door
lock status and remotely lock or unlock your doors. Above the three
circular icons is locate vehicle, which allows you to see where your Genesis
EV is currently located. Press Locate My Vehicle Now
and enter your Genesis Connected Services PIN number to refresh your vehicle's
location. Available surround view monitor in the app lets you remotely view
the surroundings around your vehicle while Flashlights and Horn can be useful
when getting close to your car. Remote functions are also available
through the web at Owners.Genesis.com. After logging in, there will be quick
links for Climate Start, Lock and Unlock doors, Geo-fence Alert, and to schedule service. By clicking View Connected Services, you can access further remote functions,
car locator and safeguard alerts. In the remote actions
section, click the remote start icon to set up

e preset profiles. To remote start the vehicle without any presets, click custom, Enter your four digit Genesis Connected
services PIN number, and click submit. For more information
