Genesis Pay is a convenient in-car
payment service that allows Genesis Connected
Service subscribers to remotely reserve and pay for parking
at participating locations. Genesis Pay can be accessed
through the vehicle infotainment screen and the Genesis Intelligent Assistant Mobile app
To utilize Genesis Pay, You must have an active
Genesis Connected Services account. All new Genesis
vehicles can be enrolled in GCS by a Genesis retailer or on owners.Genesis.com and then activated in CAR.
Search
for the Genesis Intelligent Assistant app in the Apple or Google Play
App Store and download it to your mobile device.
On the bottom menu of the app, press utilities then Genesis Pay. After reading through the terms
and conditions, check the acknowledge box and press enroll. The next screen will take you to vehicle
linking where you will enter your license
plate number which is required for validation. After entering your credit
card information, hit save, under link to merchants, select add a m
erchant to see the list of
merchants that you wish to use Pay with. Select a merchant and confirm
that all your information is correct on screen before acknowledging terms and conditions.
To use, access the infotainment in your Genesis
vehicle and select Genesis Pay. Select from a list of nearby compatible
parking areas. Then select Genesis Pay on the left side
of the infotainment screen. After choosing which credit card to use
as payment, select Parking Start Time. Select the date and time that
you would
like to purchase parking for, then press Okay. Next, set your parking duration and press. Okay. The purchase option screen will show
what kind of rates the parking lot offers.
Confirm that all the information is correct on the screen. Then press pay.
Enter your PIN number and complete your purchase. By selecting Parking
Pass View on your mobile phone, the QR code and pass number
can be used to enter the parking lot. You can also cancel the reservation
from the app if you ever change y
our mind. To reserve
a parking space near a destination, access your in-car navigation
after entering a destination. Next press nearby info, Nearby POI, then parking. To show a full list of parking areas
near your destination. To show only Genesis
Pay compatible parking, select the filter icon and check Genesis Pay, then select near destination. The list will now repopulate to display
only the parking lots that accept Genesis Pay. Press the Genesis Pay icon
and set the date, time and duration. T
he purchase option screen will show
what kind of rates the parking lot offers. Confirm that all the information
is correct on the screen. Then press pay. Enter your pin to complete the transaction. After setup, full reservation details
can be accessed from your Genesis Intelligent Assistant app, including
recent activity and monthly reporting. You can also unenroll from Genesis
Pay directly in the Genesis Intelligent Assistant Mobile App. For more information on Genesis
