This is the largest career fair at Mason each semester. We're super excited to have about 120 employers representing a wide range of industries to recruit Mason students for their internships and full time opportunities. I think Mason graduates are great because first and foremost, I am a mason graduate, so, you know, always a little boost. But also, the accounting course load is perfect here. They go into every aspect and give you a nice little dose of everything. So, people who are coming into
the workforce, getting into accounting, have already seen and experienced, too, a little bit of stuff already. So it kind of have a little boost over some other areas or other schools. We know that Mason students can choose to use their degrees in any different way. It's not like major equals career. It's more about how a student wants to use their degree out there in the world and what kind of difference they want to make and so we want to introduce students to lots of different options, and t
hat's what makes this fair so special. It is important for George Mason to have companies that are a reflection of what the community looks like. It's also very important that George Mason is targeting a lot of people who have different interests. Not everybody comes from a very specific kind of background. And so I hope that by building connections and building bonds with these companies and these organizations, I'm able to diversify my experience a little bit. I feel like it's a full circle mo
ment coming back here. You know, I graduated here. I love my time here and coming back here, like, you know, to get more students interested and my peers interest in the field that I'm in, it feels good. I'm hoping that I could potentially build some sort of common interest in trying to save the world.
