I am Polish and I am very proud of our history however I am also sick of wars during over 1000 years. No more wars! We want just live in peace. Thanks for sharing this video and your empathy for my country ❤

@grimmjowespada2422

It's a pity that Russians don't have such thoughts, sincerity is the condition to understand each other

@Adrian-ez6dg

My grandfather was sent to Germany when he was 10 years old during World War II, working for a landlady on a farm. As he recalled, she was nice, he even called her "Uma" :) When he was older, he was sent to a mine, where he lost a finger. After this accident, he was taken to hospital, where German nurses protected him from soldiers who tried to return him to the mine. He survived the war and I am grateful to those who helped him

I'm Polish and it's the first time I'm seeing this! It got me 🥺 I know about the history of my country (especially about the XX century), but to see it like this! Thank you for making this video and for what you said about my beautiful country. Your reaction is so genuine 🥹 Seeing you first emotional and afterwards smiling about where Poland is now...I'm forever grateful 🙏🙏🙏 My grandfather was half-German, so my family was safe during the WW I and WW II (when it comes to the offense coming from West), but when the Soviets arrived...that was another story. The would steal, rape and kill everyobody on their way 😣😣😣 And to think of all those families that had to frightned by both Germans and Soviets...My heart goes to the victims of those terrible events, to the living survivors of those timess and all to all their famililies who have been struggling with their loss ever since 🫶🫶🫶

@SilveiraWTraveler

I take my hat off for the Polish people. They are amazing ! Despite they been through a lot, they are the most generous people I have met for awhile. I really enjoyed my 10 days in Poland. I visited 5 cities, Warsaw, Wadowice, Krakow, Malbork and Wroclaw. I only met extraordinary people. In Wadowice, I think the population that speaks English are very small. Even there I met with people that made every effort to communicate with me in English. I am glad that I registered my experience in my channel. I will go back to Poland soon.

Pozdrawiam z Polski

Great reaction film. Its nice to see a humble German.

@MayaTheDecemberGirl

It's worth to add that in our history we had many wars and battles with not only Germans and Russians, but also with Turkey, in XIII century even with Mongolians, with Cossacks, with Tatars, with Swedens (in XVII century, especially so-called Swedish Deluge - it was a very difficult period and Swedish destroyed much in our country then). There were many important battles, but the most famous, victorious for Poland, were the battle of Grunwald on 15th July 1410 (against the Teutonic Knights Order and others supporting them), battle of Vienna in 1683 (read about the Winged Hussars and Polish king John III Sobieski - it was against great forces of Turkey) and the battle of Warsaw (also called "the Miracle on the Vistula") in 1920, in which Poland stopped the Bolshevik Red Army from going further to Europe (it was a very important battle, not only in our history, but also history of Europe).

@wsk350pl6

I am Polish and I am proud of it and I am not ashamed of it. We have a great history, although most of it is tragic, but we are here and we fight for our own.

@user-qq7rf8hf5z

Chris, greetings from Toronto, 🇨🇦 Canada. It's nice to know you are one of, hopefully, many young Germans who focuses on history and contemporary Poland. Good job !

@jolantanowak9976

Most of us are lucky to live in the times of peace. the few examples of wars in Europe - Yugoslavia in 1990's and Ukraine now - show us how much we must care about peace. Wars are the ideas of politicians and bankers. Ordinary people don't want wars. Ordinary people want to live in peace, they want to love, work, have family and friends, have their hobbies. Please, let's not let politicians convince us - you, me, each of us - to fight for them in any war. This is our task: let us ensure peace for ourselves and our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Greetings from Poland. Thank you for your video and reaction.
