I'm OBSESSED with this! I have never seen anyone interpret a song from a musical with how it might look on stage and that's what makes this so amazing! Fantastic work!
1-One of the most unique interpretations of the song, and one of the most visually stunning. 2-Poseidon showing his crewmates decayed corpses is so brutal. 3-It’s interesting how Odysseus isn’t completely terrified like he is in other animatics. 4-I like how you used the existing audio to create a natural ending for the animatic.
I just had a thought. What if poseidon manifested the dead bodies of those he drowned in ruthless, with them chanting "get in the water" basically to mess with odyseus.😢
I'm getting a feeling that you wanted a stage play come to life through animation but after half way through, you were like "Eh- why not, let's incorporate some fantasy stuff" BUT STILL IT'S SO COOL!!
This went like, four levels beyond, by all the brainstorming needed to make such a scene work. I especially love the blankets being used as waves, I can totally see several systems in place to make them flow and crash like aerial silks. Bravo!

The fact that you could feel that there was something eerie even when it’s supposed to be a staged play. Kinda like this is how Poseidon sees the whole thing. It’s amazing. The trident coming through at the end breaking the feeling of suspended reality and giving us the perspective that it isn’t just a “feeling” that something is off— amazing. Love it.
On it's very own your art is STUNNING, but then to go on from that and not just make an animatic but to CHOREOGRAPH A WHOLE STAGE PRODUCTION FOR THE MUSICAL IS SUCH A FANTASTIC IDEA! It's like everything I've imagined while listening to this musical! I cannot believe I haven't seen one of these yet. And it looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL as well! Such a delicious treat for the eyes, colour- framing- everything. Keep up this amazing work!

I love how you staged it as if it were being performed and the sheets that dropped and became waves lashing at Odysseus and the ship SURGING up with the pile of bodies who then float by in the surf were amazing and impressive as an animatic and a staging idea. Just simply amazing. I heard myself saying "wow" out loud multiple times. The mix of stage play and fantasy gave it a magical feel.
