Hi! Welcome to Spoiler Lab!  An ordinary girl discovers that her toes are fused together  and the membranes can't be cut with scissors. Perhaps this girl is not human?  Today we will recap the 2017 movie Blue My Mind The story begins with a girl named  Mia, who is walking along the beach, enjoying the waves and the pebbles. Then we  are transported in time and we witness the fifteen-year-old Mia and her parents move to  another town because of her father's new job. The girl is uncomfortable livi
ng in the new place  and is afraid she won't make any friends. But Mia cannot discuss her emotions with her mother  because she is busy with household chores. When Mia goes to her new school, she feels  uncomfortable because she doesn't know anyone yet. There is a group of cool kids in the class  that Mia wants to be friends with. At recess, she boldly approaches the teens and asks  them for a lighter. But the boys ridicule her request and do not accept her into their group. Mia comes home feeli
ng bad and locks herself in her room. Her mother is not occupied and wants  to discuss Mia's first day at her new school. She enters her daughter's room without  knocking, which really annoys the girl. The woman asks Mia a lot of intrusive questions. 4:44 - 4:48 - Mom touches Mia's hair and asks, "Didn't you wash your hair for your first day?" Mia rolls her eyes and asks her mother to leave her room, but she engages in  tedious moralizing. Eventually, Mia can't tolerate it and rudely pushes her
mother  away. She falls to the floor. The girl immediately rushes to her mother and begs her forgiveness. In the evening, her father scolds his daughter for her action and scolds her for being spoiled. Mia  is going through a difficult period in her life, she does not find her place in the world. At  night, the distraught girl tries to poison herself with baking soda, but it doesn't work. Feeling  remorseful, she enters her mother's room and lies down next to her. Mia has no idea yet that  the d
iscord with her parents will only intensify. On the way to school the following day, Mia is  followed by a hungry cat, but the girl manages to get away from it. Meanwhile, at school, the  class decides where to go for the weekend. A cool girl named Joanna suggests going to  Connyland amusement park and whispers to her friends that they can get high there. They  start voting on which place the class will go, and Mia's vote becomes decisive. She chooses  Connie Land, which gets the cool kids excit
ed. Mia looks hopefully in their direction  and hopes to become friends with them. After school, Mia parades around the schoolyard  with a cigarette. The troublemakers beckon her over and ask her to give them some. After being  allowed to do so, they take out two or three cigarettes instead of one. Mia is defiant and  won't give up all her cigarettes, for which she is called a fool. Joanna teases the girl for a while  longer, but then invites her over to her house. Joanna has a beautiful house a
nd a rich father,  who is not particularly interested in his daughter's life because of his constant workload.  The girls go to Joanna's room. Here they smoke, discuss boyfriends and shaving their legs.  Mia is not used to talking about such topics, so she feels uneasy. Joanna shows the girl  a snippet of an adult film and registers her on a dating site. Mia tries to play along with  the girls and says that she likes older guys. Joanna then asks to lightly strangle her, passes  out for a moment,
and says it feels really good. She suggests that her friends try the same thing,  but only the brave Mia agrees. Joanna squeezes her throat, Mia faints and feels as if she is  under water. The sensation frightens the girl, and she jumps up abruptly and runs home. Her  new friends look after her in bewilderment. After the scene at her friend's house,  Mia's behavior begins to change, as if she is remembering something from her past.  When she arrives home, she has an uncontrollable urge to eat a
live aquarium fish. After this,  the girl vomits violently. Her mother returns home and suspects that her daughter is ill.  Mia denies everything and goes to her room. In the evening, the girl puts on vibrant makeup  and practices a seductive dance. Then she starts corresponding with a thirty-five-year-old man  from the dating site and lies about being 18. On the following day, Mia gets ready for school  in a new, more daring look. Before she leaves, she asks her father to sign off on her trip
to  Connyland. He promises to think about it. The girl becomes embarrassed at school because  of her appearance. She discreetly removes her earrings and wipes off her lipstick. That's  when she notices that her new friends are running away from class, and follows them to the mall. At the mall, the girls first go to the bathroom, where Joanna takes a pregnancy test. It turns out  to be negative, which gets the company excited. Mia also tries to participate in the general  excitement. Next, the gi
rls go shopping. As they do so, they make a scene and steal cosmetics and  accessories. Mia is surprised by this behavior, but tries to imitate them in everything. At the grocery store, Joanna drinks yogurt and puts it back on the shelf. After this,  a security guard tries to detain the girls. The girls quickly run away from him through the  corridors of the mall. Joanna and Mia pull ahead and run the fastest to the bridge. Here they drink  some stolen alcohol and show their breasts to the drive
rs of passing cars. At one point, the girls  stare at each other mesmerized, ready to kiss, but they are interrupted by the rest of their  friends who arrive. Mia has never had such joyful moments of intimacy with anyone before,  so the girl is upset that it was over so quickly. When she gets home, Mia continues to write to  the man from the dating site and offers to meet him. The girl is immediately frightened by her  own determination and slams her laptop. Later that day, Mia has her first men
strual period. But  since she and her mother do not have any sincere conversations, the girl is frightened and not  ready for these changes to her body. Mia takes a bath and shaves her legs for the first  time. Immediately she notices that her toes have become fused together. This terrifies  the girl. She locks herself in her room, examines her toes and doesn't understand what  happened to them. Then her frustrated mother knocks on her door, wanting to find  out where some of her aquarium fish h
ave gone. Mia opens the door and lies that  she doesn't know anything. But her mother wants a different answer, and Mia doesn't  think of anything better to say than that: For which she gets a slap in the  face. The girl ends her day crying. Her day was already bad enough, and now  she's having problems with her mother. In the morning, Mia's father wakes her up. The  girl worries that he will see her webbed toes and start asking questions. But her father doesn't  notice anything. He drops the gi
rl off at school and forbids her to go to Connie Land as punishment  for the fish. He points out that such behavior is uncharacteristic of her. Mia agrees, but she  cannot understand what is happening to her. Mia has a lot of questions about her condition,  but she doesn't trust her parents. So she runs away from school and goes to a medical  center. There, Mia hesitates for a long time, but she tells the doctor about her first  menstruation. The doctor says that this is normal and that there wi
ll now be changes  in the girl's body. Then Mia decides to trust the doctor with her weirder problem - her toes  have grown together. The doctor examines her, but doesn't believe that her toes have fused just  yesterday. She assumes that the girl is lying, because such features can only  be from birth. But in the end, the doctor believes Mia and plans to run more  tests. Suddenly, the girl loses confidence in the doctor and runs away from the medical center.  On the way, Mia falls, hurts her kne
es and starts crying from helplessness and loneliness.  The girl really has no one to confide in, because her parents only care about her good  behavior, her new friends make fun of her, and the doctors don't believe what she says. But  soon Mia pulls herself together and goes home. Sitting in the living room, the girl pulls out  family albums to find out if any of her relatives suffered from the same condition. Suddenly,  Mia notices that the albums don't contain any pictures of her mother preg
nant with her. The girl goes to her mother and asks about this, and clarifies why she does not look like her  parents. The mother evades her questions, reminding her daughter that she  needs to do her homework. After this, the girl shuts herself off even more. Strange new bruises appear on Mia's legs, which she hides behind high socks. Sitting  in her room, the girl watches an adult film and offers the man from the dating site to  have fun with her. Mia thinks it will help her take her mind off
her depressing thoughts  and become cooler in the eyes of her friends. On the following day, the girl informs Joanna and  the others that she is going to have fun with a thirty-five-year-old man today. Her friends are  excited by this news and cheer Mia on. Together, they arrive at the hotel where the  meeting is scheduled. Mia has a drink for courage and resolutely goes to the room. Upon meeting her, the man realizes that Mia isn't even 16 yet, but that doesn't matter to him.  He confesses to t
he girl that he really likes her, and he can't think of anyone else. Mia is not  embarrassed by their age difference. The man turns on his favorite song and starts  humming. The girl is amused by this. The man then asks Mia to show him her tongue and  takes off her sock. He notices a strange bruise on the girl's leg, and worries that someone has  hit her. Mia jumps up abruptly, hides the bruise, and pushes the man away violently. He falls, and  the girl runs away. On the street, she confesses to
her friends that the fun did not take place.  They immediately lose interest in Mia and leave. That's when the girl gets a desperate idea.  First, she steals a pair of scissors, a band-aid, and foundation from a store. At home, Mia covers  up all the bruises on her legs and cuts the webbing on her toes. The girl is in terrible pain,  but continues to hide her problems from everyone. Afterward, she goes to her sleazy classmate named  Roberto. Mia pulls the boy away from the video games, and the
teens retreat to Roberto's room  and make out. The boy offers her some fun, and Mia throws herself at him with kisses. After their  fun, the girl becomes indifferent to everything, as usual, although Roberto admires her. She  turns down his offer to stay and play video games. Then the embarrassed Roberto dresses up  and invites the girl to a party. Mia agrees and, left alone, collapses hopelessly on the  bed. The activity does not help her forget her problems. Then Mia goes to the woods and  lis
tens to the sounds of nature. She seems to be more comfortable here than around people. At home, the girl hides the expanding bruises on her legs under her long pants. She eats  dinner with her parents and showing a savage appetite. This surprises her parents, but  they, as usual, ignore their daughter's strange behavior. Afterward, Mia goes to  the party. Many of her classmates and their friends are gathered there. Everyone is already  aware that Mia has been partying with Roberto, and they acc
ept the girl as their own. The boys  drink, smoke some weed, and dance all night. Mia likes this state of mind, it makes her feel  more relaxed. One of the guys suggests that Mia have fun with him and promises to call her  later. She is fine with the idea. After this, Joanna gets sick, and Mia helps her come to her  senses. Joanna doesn't want to be separated from her friend and asks to spend the night with her. At home, Mia tells her friend that her parents pretend to be the perfect family, eve
n though  they don't even sleep together. In addition, the girl is convinced that she was adopted. It  seems to Mia that her real parents have abandoned her. For her part, Joanna talks about her parents.  Her mother left for the United States five years ago and planned to take her daughter with her,  but she soon forgot about Joanna. Her father, on the other hand, is completely indifferent to the  girl's life and is never home. This gives Joanna complete freedom, but she still feels lonely. Mia
complains that her parents have not signed off on the trip to Connie Land. Then Joanna,  without thinking long, forges the signature of her friend's father, assuring her that the teacher  won't suspect a thing. The girls then have fun shining a flashlight at each other and go to bed. On the next morning, Mia learns that her family has been invited to attend some friends'  wedding. She refuses to go. She is spared from an awkward conversation by Joanna,  who wakes up. Her friend chats nicely with
Mia's parents, trying to charm them. The whole class takes a trip to Connie Land over the weekend. The teacher doesn't notice that  Mia's father's signature is fake, so the girl gets on the bus along with everyone else. Her mother  keeps calling her, but the girl doesn't pick up the phone. Meanwhile, Joanna suggests that her  friends take “fun candy” to relax in Connie Land as best they can. The girls dilute the dope  in juice, and Mia takes the biggest dose. Once they arrive at their destinati
on, the friends  aren't having much fun. They wander around like crazy and ask each other monotonous questions.  Mia, stoned, notices Roberto and suggests that they have fun again. For this, the young people  retreat to a storage room. While they are at it, Mia interrupts the boy at the most  inappropriate moment because she feels sick. Roberto notices the many bruises  on her legs, curses at the girl and leaves. Upset and lost, Mia goes to the bathroom  to recover. Examining her body, the girl
notices that her belly button is missing and  that her legs have turned into a bluish mess. The girl faints and imagines herself in  water, where she can relax. Soon, Mia is found by her friends. They notice the bruises  on the girl's legs and try to clean her up. In the evening, the class gets on the bus and  heads home. All the teenagers are asleep after a fun day, and Mia is the only one who is terrified  about her situation. Her problems are growing, and her cell phone screen shows 28 missed
calls from  her mother, which does not add to her optimism. As she pulls up to the house, she takes her  time climbing the steps and then tries to sneak into the apartment unnoticed. But  her parents are already waiting for Mia in the living room. They are in the mood for a  serious conversation. Her father is questioning how Mia dares to go to Connie Land without their  permission. The girl tries to justify herself. However, the parents demand that their daughter  follow their rules, and they
do not understand what is happening to her. But after such  an aggressive start to the conversation, Mia certainly does not want to share her  issues with them. Then her parents decide to send the girl to a therapist. Mia takes this  news as a sentence and goes to her room. Here, for some reason, the girl feels the need  to undress naked and sleep on the floor. In the morning, Mia notices that large  flecks of blue skin are falling off her legs. Although the girl is hardly  surprised by anything
anymore, the new change in her body still shocks her.  She picks up the pieces of skin and hides them under her mattress. Because of this, the  girl is even late for her first lesson. In anatomy class, Mia dissects a fish under the  guidance of the teacher so that the students can visually understand its body structure. The bell  rings and the teacher asks Mia to take the fish to the janitor. As everyone leaves the classroom,  the girl feels a brutal urge to eat the fish. Mia tries to fight her
self, but then greedily  pounces on the fish. In the midst of the meal, one of the girl's classmates appears on the  doorstep of the classroom. Mia grabs the schoolgirl by the neck and threatens to kill  her if anyone finds out. Then Mia returns to her desk and weeps bitterly. The girl no  longer knows what to expect of herself. Roberto meets Mia on her way out of school  and asks her if she has some kind of illness or a rash, but she says she's fine and  asks the boy the same thing in response.
The girl then goes to see the therapist for a  session. Her mother, who gives her a ride in the car, again asks Mia to accompany them to the  wedding. But things are hard enough for the girl; she's in no condition to portray the perfect  daughter in public. As she says goodbye, Mia reluctantly kisses her mother on  the cheek and gets out of the car. At the therapy session, the girl makes a  suggestion to the doctor that her parents adopted her. According to Mia, she has been upset  by everythin
g lately. She also admits to doing things she doesn't want to do, and it's not like  her. The therapist assures Mia that she is not alone, but the girl only laughs nervously,  saying that she is not normal, and her real parents must have been the same. In anger, Mia  almost tells the doctor about her real problems, but she immediately recovers and leaves. At home, Mia and Joanna search for documents proving that Mia was adopted. In one of the boxes,  Joanna finds a document with everything writt
en in French. The girls assume that these are the  adoption papers. At the most inappropriate moment, her mother arrives, scolds the girls, and chases  Joanna away. But she tries to support Mia anyway: Mia's mother gets mad at the girl and hides all  the papers. Sometimes, even she can't believe that Mia is her daughter. The girl leaves the  room in tears. She never manages to find out the truth about her true origins. At night, Mia sleeps naked on the floor again. She has no idea yet that  soon
she won't need her clothes at all. The following morning, her parents are going  to the wedding they've been talking about for a long time. They finally realize that Mia won't  be going with them, so they leave the girl their hotel phone number without too many questions  and leave. Mia is surprised by her parents' sudden understanding and even feels that she  will miss them. Left alone, the girl stares at the aquarium with the new fish for a long time,  and then swoops in and eats each one wit
h gusto. Later, she receives an invitation to a party at  the lake. Before going out, Mia takes her mother's sedative pills and washes them down with vodka.  As a result, the girl arrives at the party in a stupefied state. At the lake, Mia meets Joanna and  the other boys. The friends talk heart-to-heart, dreaming of stopping time and delaying this  moment forever. In a burst of heartfelt intimacy, the girls embrace. The touching moment is  interrupted by one of the boys, he invites the girls to
his party the next day. The girls  eagerly agree. Everybody gets drunk that evening, as usual, with Mia drinking the most to drown out  her depression. While she lies on the pavement, Joanna goes swimming in the lake with  one of the boys. All of a sudden, the young man calls for help because Joanna is  drowning and he can't find the girl in the water. Mia immediately sobers up. Without further  thought, she rushes into the water, finds her friend in the total darkness, and pulls  her to shore.
Here, Joanna comes to her senses and thanks Mia sincerely, but the girl rushes  home quickly because she senses a new change in her body. Running into the bathroom at home, Mia  discovers that she has developed gills. The girl touches them in disgust, not wanting to accept her  new features. She then undresses and uses tweezers to remove the huge flecks of blue skin from her  legs. The resulting wounds are taped with cotton and band-aid. In her haste, Mia did not close the  door to the apartmen
t, so at this moment Joanna enters the room. She is horrified and begs Mia to  see a doctor. Mia adamantly refuses to be treated, and Joanna vomits from what she sees. Mia  hysterically yells at her friend to leave and throws a bottle at her. The girl then cries  and hits her legs in a fit of helplessness and self-loathing. Mia considers her best friend's  reaction to her peculiarity a betrayal. Now the girl becomes even lonelier. On the following evening, Mia is going to another party. She dres
ses up, puts on flamboyant makeup,  and drinks vodka for courage. When she arrives at the party, Mia wanders around the rooms like  she's in a fog. She pays no attention to Joanna, and just gets drunk and dances until she drops.  Some guys gather around, looking at Mia like she is prey. One of the guys approaches her. The young  men kiss, and the guy rubs a pill into Mia's gums. He then takes the girl into the next room, puts a  blindfold on her, and forces her to have fun with more participants
. Joanna bursts into the room,  pushes the guys aside and tries to take her friend away. However, Mia resists and says she needs  it. Joanna insists that Mia needs to see a doctor right away because she has a serious problem with  her legs. The boys hear this and forcibly remove Mia's clothes to look at her legs. What they see  reminds them of gangrene. Suppressing an attack of vomiting, the guys ask if it is contagious.  The other guests who came to the party also come running into the room to
look at Mia's feet.  The girl screams that it's contagious, gets dressed and runs away. After her humiliation, Mia  doesn't want to see anyone else and hates herself. At home, she undresses, drinks a sedative  with vodka, and starts crying. The whole time, Mia is trying to call Joanna, but the girl rejects  the calls. A webbing appears between Mia's legs, interfering with her ability to walk. Constantly  sobbing, the girl can barely move around the house on her unruly legs. In the kitchen, the g
irl  tries to hurt herself but loses consciousness. Waking up the next morning, the girl  discovers she has a huge tail instead of legs. She is hysterical and struggles  to get to the bathroom. In the water, Mia is immediately relieved and gradually comes to  terms with her transformation into a mermaid. Now at least it becomes clear what exactly is wrong  with her. After causing a flood in the apartment, the girl swims through the rooms and says  goodbye to her past life. She soon decides to ca
ll Joanna. She quickly arrives and helps  her friend move into the car without too many questions. The girls arrive at the sea. Joanna  sits Mia down in the back of the pickup truck and gives her the phone to call her mother. Mia realizes that she will never see her parents again. And they won't even know what happened  to her. As she talks to her mother, the girl remembers fun moments from their lives and tells  her parents for the first time in a long time: Mia promises her mother that they  w
ill definitely see each other, though she realizes that they will not. Joanna helps Mia get to the seashore. There, the girls hug each other and say goodbye.  They thank each other for everything, and Mia says she is no longer afraid of anything.  She crawls to the water and dives in. Here, Mia is genuinely free from anxiety. The girl  gains freedom and understanding of herself. Would you like to turn into a mermaid? I love how her friend, takes her to the water and helps to set her free...she could have called the cops or turned her in but she did the right thing and let her go.

@kpoprubix9812

I liked that her friend actually came to the apartment to help her❤

@homesteadgamer1257

That poor hungry cat is the real victim of this story.

@MilaMila20245

This is H2O with Euphoria. 🤷

@prettyxbonez96

I dont understand parents like this. Basically, the child is non-existent and is raising herself, lol

@gtcreations4396

when I first entered university I hung out with two girls who never went to class. after three days of lazying around campus I distanced myself and went to class and made friends with more serious students. those girls did poorly. one failed out. the other was struggling with extra year when I graduated. I'm so glad I got away from them. only reason I followed them was because I thought I needed friends.

@nyclyricistsbkborn3295

Imagine how she's gonna feel when she meets a great white shark or a giant squid 😢

@RoseZalen-xy7yu

I wanted to be a mermaid when I was little. I even wished for it in prayers. But now seeing this movie I would never want to be a mermaid

@mhiggs8001

Hey! Stop! This is actually a pretty good mermaid movie, so you may actually like to watch it before you watch this. Just a warning, since most of these are about terrible time waste movies, but this one is actually good. I’d love to see more from this story, but I don’t see anything ever happening. I’d like to know if she found her own kind, what her parents were like, why’d they leave her, is this the way mermaids do their children? Leaving them to be raised by humans until their changes start and they are called back to the sea? All kinds of interesting thoughts come to mind. Really, as a mermaid fan, this is a great movie.

@nikkiej.5875

I feel like this movie is similar to The Thirteenth Year, which is also a movie about mermaids. The main character was found on a boat and was taken in and adopted. When he turned thirteen, he started experiencing changes with his body and eventually he turned into a merman. I think in this movie, it could be the same thing and she was adopted and her birth parents are from the sea.

@Coyoteprime

You know they say puberty is about change. You’re experiencing emotions, hormons and body changes beyond your understanding. I mean you can have an instruction manual to help you but they won’t tell you how to deal with it. And hanging out with a bad crowd doesn’t really help the situation just makes it more complicated. But after the many said and done things, where the transformation is comeplete, at first you’re scared, confused, freaking out and having anxiety problems then finally acceptance.

@Cheios-Demiose

her getting with the toxic fake friends. and with all the party's. this girl was setting her self up to fail. and then with the predator men at the party. in this girls confusion and doubts she makes decisions which are later revealed to be completely regrettable. this story recap reminds me of many people i have meet and seen in my life's. they fail to realize what choices are best for them... and which choices will just set them further on a path of failure.

@miriamllamas224

Webbed toes.... So I'll turn into a mermaid eventually? 🤣🤣

@Its.urgloria

Her friend was so Nice for getting her into the Water❤ shes the friend that we all need ❤❤

@BecauseIamHere

@RonLarhz

@mariachakkunny1203

Uuggh! So much casual sex and drugs...puts u off immediately!

@I_am_a_Caprisagittarius

From the first second the recap started I just intuitively knew it was a typical mermaid story 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@michaeltibbets6606

Paul that is the best ending I have ever heard to a story

@theforsomereasonsentient8ball

I know a guy who has 9 fingers, one of his fingers is just two fingers grown into each other. He also has no legs.
