I want to tell you a story. It's a story you may think you know, but you don't. Over there! What is that? Papa! It speaks! He's just a puppet. No, I'm not! I'm a real boy! People are sometimes afraid of things they don't know. I don't understand. We have found him! Our star. Everyone shall love you and call your name, Pinocchio. Pinocchio! I have something I'd like to give you. It is a schoolbook which belonged to a very special boy. The boy you lost? Papa! Enough of this nonsense! Hey, where ar
e you going? You tell him I love him. And I won't be a burden anymore. Hello? The wooden boy with the borrowed soul. While you may have eternal life, your loved ones, they do not. You never know how long you have with someone until they're gone. The boy loves you for who you are. Guide him to be good. Stop that! Don't hurt him anymore! You may have no strings, but I control you. Please bring him back to me. Papa! Pinocchio! Life is such a wonderful gift.

I hope everyone understands just how deeply lucky we are to have this. Stop motion is a DYING form of filmmaking because it’s time consuming and expensive. So much love and care goes into every frame.

@nellies

I just watched this and I'm so moved, I couldn't stop crying at the end. The stop motion animation is so beautifully done, the fact that everything is handcrafted makes it so special. I'm glad it wasn't just another remake, it had elements of the original story and something totally new that made it so much deeper. It deserves so many Oscars!

@boxofcereal

This is art. It's not soullessly pumped out for money, it's not made to capitalize on a trend. This was made out of pure love and dedication.

@lordsinister707

This film had so much more soul and passion than Disney. It truly felt like a movie that anyone could watch regardless of age. Disney has lost that somewhere

@farazhuq5568

Not many films get me choked up. This did. Absolutely wonderful piece of artistry, cinema, music and storytelling. Please support this film. It deserves it.

''What happens happens And then we are gone'' What a masterpiece! This movie will touch your directly in your hear.

The mere existence of Guillermo del Toro is a love letter to humanity.

@KOZAN808

After watching this I only have one thing to say Thank you Guillermo del Toro

@TheRodionu

We need more stop-motion movies. There's something surreal about them.

@colesandersdalleva8323

I swear to God, if this thing doesn’t win an Oscar, I’m gonna freaking riot. WHO’S WITH ME?!

@mayfrenz504

The part where he says he doesn’t wish to be a burden anymore… that hits close to home. All the themes and messages inside this one trailer outweigh anything Disney has made in years. I can’t wait to see this masterpiece of animation!

@TeamRemForever

I just finished watching it. First off, let me start by saying that this was my most anticipated movie of the decade. I have waited 9 years for it's release. Second, this is one of the most beautiful movies that I've ever witnessed in my life. What a wonderful piece of art Del Toro has made! I have always loved stop motion, ever since I first watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. For Pinocchio, you can literally see how much time, love, and care was put into this film. The 9 years of waiting was definitely worth it. It has now become one of my all time favorite movies, and I'm sure that it will be known as an instant classic in the next few years. If this doesn't get nominated for Best Animated Feature or Best Picture at next year's Oscars, I'm going to so depressed. I can't recommend this wonderful and iconic masterpiece enough!

@johnfelix503

This trailer is more emotional than the whole Disney's live action movie version. Can't wait for this work of art.

@colinbell2983

Got the pleasure of watching this on the cinema, it is in my all time top 3. If this doesn't win best animated feature at the Oscars, I will officially lose faith in the Academy

@dodoraptor8387

It took 15 years to make this movie Frame by Frame!! Every single expression of Pinnochio was a different mask with a unique facial expression. Every single character, building, background decor, infrastructure was hand made/painted. A monumental endeavour, a masterpiece, a movie that I really enjoyed on Netflix

@Trainy2

He's an artist who just happens to make breathtaking films.

@KyrieFortune

OSCAR WINNER Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio!!!

@hyperspace2752

That line " Tell him I love him and I won't be a burden anymore" hits me in the feels. I've been called a burden numerous by my parents and it stuck with for all my life.

@madeleinereads

Earned the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Well-deserved!

@vicmanelguapo1678

The best animated feature oscar ever!!!!!!
