"I don't care if I'll be send to hell, as long as my country live in paradise" - President Rodrigo R. Duterte

@cinnamontoast4192

you know his cursing pretty much indicates his honesty.

@thelittletina

No wonder why Trump called CNN a fake news 😂.

@OakedRS

Right on Philippines..much respect.

One of the greatest Filipino Patriot of recent memory

@batmanrobin4364

We still love him no matter how western media portray him negatively.

@davidhess1019

Duterte is exactly right. People don't listen to the substance of what he says but rather criticize "how" he says it.

@thanos4683

Atleast that man admits all of his wrong doings, not like other leaders, full of denials.

@halilrhoxsan6438

regardless of the way he talks I still salute him for doing his job not as the great at least one of the best!!!and he's damn right he should only salute to his own country!!

@theisshi9085

Lol CNN I think your elaborating more on the vulgar words. You're not focusing on the real issue. The issue which you won't know unless you live in the Philippines. Media is really manipulative

@matthewlang7364

The US have a very short memory when it comes to foreign policy.

@spencercarr8257

Love this guy. Especially when he sent "liberal" Canada back their garbage.

@glensibayan7333

We will miss you PRRD!

I am an American. I wish we had a leader like the Phillipines president

@rexie7023

I just recently watched the full interviews again. Duterte was pissed because instead of Obama talking to him at the forum about the situation, he decided to do a press conference about the "human rights" situation in the Philippines. And at the interviews, western reporters always question him about the deaths in the country. Duterte basically responded (very rough verbatim) "What's the difference between your country and ours? Black people are killed everyday. Bomb/Attack Iraq, claiming they have weapons of mass destruction, only after to publicly announce that there isn't." It was long but his point was that, why is the USA meddling with the country while they have their own problems in their backyard regarding human rights. Why is the UN not doing anything about it? Why are you focusing on the Philippines? Why is he the only one being chastise? Very rough explanation but people need to watch the whole interviews/press conference so they can get a grasp of it.

@justtryinglove6734

In the first place, America and Philippines are different in so many aspects such as their views in life and the way they live, the needs and culture. So that's why, America shouldn't push their standards in other countries such as Philippines. Edit: it was more than a year ago that I posted this and I got 3.1K likes. I'm now famous. Hahahaha PS. I'm afraid of looking at the reply section.
