welcome back to K 5 this morning you know long Waits confusing bills feeling rushed in the office those are just a few of the beefs that Americans have with the health care System right now as Ken 5's Jeremy Baker reports in today's healthy essay shopping around could help solve some of your problems recent survey by mdvip and ipsos found nearly a third of adults report waiting 3 months or more for a doctor's appointments and half of all Americans say they are burned out and say the Health Care
system makes it hard to stay healthy and then the waiting doesn't stop I think as many people know when you get to the office I've heard doctor's visits compared to uh the experience at Disney World a 2hour wait for a three-minute ride another 10% say they've waited so long they just leave the office before even seeing a doctor that just adds to the frustration it winds up making diagnosis delayed or or missed altogether the survey also said 61% of Americans say the Health Care system is a hassl
e one out of every three people have skipped or delayed treatment because of a negative experience or lack of a timely appointment 51% have received care from an urgent care center or retail clinic within the last 5 years and 62% say healthc care bills are unclear and difficult to understand and for those with chronic conditions having to wait could mean life or death they're not having their medical issues followed appropriately with LA abbs and and exams so what do you do if you aren't satisfi
