Helldivers 2, Rumors, and Animated Comebacks!

ivers man dude hell divers is I  haven't played a game like that in so long it's an online game where you're basically fighting  these robots that are called automatons and you also fight these bugs and you're basically  trying to like clear worlds and it's just it's such an interactive experience and it's like a  four-player co-op game and you use these things called strategems which are like you call them  like air strikes and just support and it's just literally the funnest game that I've pla

yed in so  long and I have a PS5 but I only got it to play Spider-Man 2 but I had to get the PlayStation Plus  just to play that game based yeah the yeah I've been on Hell divers 2o since the its Inception  like in the at least in its first release like the release week that it came out right I have  really I've been really enjoying it as well the max level you could go up to is like death Admiral  or something and that's level 50 I'm already there things you could do in the game as well excuse 

me things you could do in this game as well yeah it's crazy and then yeah are when you have  your own ship and you get to name it and you as you progress through the game and you do various  missions on different difficulties you collect you also can collect like resources that are strong  like laid out around the map to upgrade your ship to make it not only look cooler but to give your  strategems a little bit more of a kick you none of them actually give you any but damage like buff  like the

y don't buff any damages like what is it called they don't buff any of the damage of that  the strategems have but the they do affect their cool down their rotation speed how many you can  call in at a time and things like that and and I've really enjoyed it the game comes with a free  battle pass like all games nowadays it is a life service game it comes with a free battle pass that  you can once you complete mission you are in war bonds and you use those war bonds to unlock what  like each of

the little tiles like in fortnite right like with as you love like stars and the  more you go the more armors you unlock that have different passives like some can't let you  carry two more heal like healing like stems which are things that heal you two more grenades they  give you a 50% chance to not die by a fatal hit and Etc and there is also a paid battle pass it's  currently C ly a short one with only that's only like three pages or three tile sets long but the  caveat to that or the upside

to it more the better way to put it is that the premium currency that  you would buy such as v-bucks you can also earn in game which means that you can save up enough  I don't I don't know the name of them like hell dive points or whatnot to buy the premium pass  essentially for free and that's a that is a very welcoming thing since no other game has ever done  that and I really appreciate that they decided to take this approach not only because they decided  to do that but also because the gam

e is at least the base version is only $40 and then the upgrade  will be like 60 so like the standard easier price for a game yeah I really enjoyed it I still enjoy  it and I look forward to the new content that's coming out do you know anything about the new  content yes okay if you hear my dogs in the background I'm so sorry it's okay bro okay so the  new content coming so we actually just got some new content recent on the recent update that just  came out a few days ago where we got a new me

ch suit so it's a very similar to Titanfall if you've  ever played Titanfall it has basically like you're a giant you're in a giant suit that has it has  Rockets right rockets and like a Gatling gun I haven't been able to play since the update because  I haven't had the time to yet but I know that they did that they did a lot of changes to the game  like they nerfed oh my God shot so dumb it's so dumb they Nerf shotgun that I literally spent days  grinding for cuz I was like I need this shotgun

I need a shotgun and then I stopped playing and  then they nerfed it and I'm like bro they nerfed the rail gun and then they also nerfed The Shield  Pack that you can wear so I don't know but there's a lot of new things coming along with the Mech  suits coming soon they have vehicles coming soon so there was like a little bit of a I wouldn't  necessarily say a leak but it had they had shown up on the internet where someone called in like a  kind of like a vehicle that was very similar to a warho

g and it's just it's going to be so helpful  because a lot of times if you're playing with a group of people it's pretty common to be separated  from each other so like it's so helpful to just go to be able to go across a map on a vehicle rather  than having to like slowly run through enemies so I'm wondering how they're going to do the whole  you know the recool down for that and how they're going to implement that into the game and how  it's going to change the Dynamics for the game and then t

hey also just recently announced three  new energy weapons as well as new cosmetic armors and they looks so cool because the energy weapons  are something that isn't in the game right now but they added a a shotgun a pistol and I think  an assault rifle right yes yeah so it's I'm so excited for the future of this game and then  back to what you said about them bringing in a free battle pass at the start of the game I wish  games like modern day games every game should do this because it makes yo

u want to play the game to  not have to you spend the money for the base game and then it sucks when you're like okay I want to  grind for something but then you have to pay just to have something to look forward to something to  grind to and to me that's the biggest turnoff with games nowadays so I love that they implemented  a free battle pass and then you can use in-game currency to buy another smaller battle pass as  well as cosmetics and stuff the fact that you can earn this in game beautif

ul every game needs to  take notes from this and you can tell how popular it is because it in the last 3 weeks that it's  been out it's already sold over 3 million copies it became the bestselling game on Steam beating  out power world and then it also outperformed Call of Duty and fortnite on PS5 like it's just I  feel like we haven't seen this in a while from a new game yeah and since it's released have there  been any problems with the game I mean there was the biggest issue was with the serv

ers you know  when the game first dropped I remember my brother would tell me cuz he got the game like first day  I think it came out and he was waiting like for 3 or 4 hours just to join one game or connect to  the servers and he would tell me he would like yeah I'm going to I'm going to do homework but I'm  going to leave it in the background so I could try to join a game luckily I did get it like about a  week in so servers were a little better and then they recently just fixed the servers an

d now are  just focused towards producing new content for the future so aside from that I think that's it  yeah I thought it was crazy like they raised the cap from 200,000 to 350 and then like lately they  just dumped it into 700,000 for the cap which is insane and then they they I think they're still  like buffing the servers more as time goes on because every time they when the game initially  released I'm pretty sure no one thought the game was going to I think the people that developed  the

game didn't think it was going to be such a hit but since it was they had a problem suffering  from success and I find that such a a funny thing because it's usually when games that are that  have server issues are those that have art that are made for that kind of player base but it's  only because they really under what is it what is the word for it it's not like overex overextend  over yeah like overextending what's the word where like underestimate they really underestimated  they really un

derestimated the success of their game and I think that's a hilarious thing  especially for a lot of people who aot lot of develop a lot of Studios that put games out  that are [ __ ] they really think they're they treat their games like stocks where they can just  pump and dump it's okay cool bunch of people buy this game and then it's [ __ ] whereas this game  has continuously been like outperforming itself day in and day out and it's really it really is  a breath of fresh air and I believe a

just like how Bowers Gate 3 was an example for what single  player games should be like and what they they can offer I think hell ders 2 is a good example  of what live service Games should be like moving into the future cuz Suicide Squad is still 60 or  70 and that game is terrible well that game is is the general consensus around that game is that  it's bad and it's also a life service game like like Avengers like The Avengers game that came out  but hell divers 2 isn't you know bad it's gotte

n really good reviews and according to game rant the  hell divers 2 has been closing in on almost like since its release or since a a person on Twitter  or X asked one of the developers they they said if they said that it was something around 3 million  and then one of the developers confirmed that it was around that Mark where that was the official  amount of games sold and that's crazy especially for a game that's only 40 bucks and then moving  forward from Hell divers put sales hell divers 2

is as noted um releasing new new content with  the server patches and I got to say they look really cool they look really fancy the shotgun  looks cool the I think the probably the biggest takeaway from the weapons are the the assault  rifle I thought the assault it's like a laser assault rifle that most most likely is going to  be used to deal with the automatons or the robots and later down the line probably the the third  faction that's going to that's been repeatedly been hint hinted at as t

he as the game has gone  on since its release diving away from this game that we last talked about it seems like DC and  Mortal Kombat have have once again G gone got very chummy because John Cena is in the game yeah  you could have also said hell diving away oh true sorry eight N9 to5 gets you man no you're good  brud I just came from work too so yeah so Mortal Kombat what I don't know how many months we are  from release finally added crossplay and not only that but finally added Peacemaker Jo

hn Cena so  this is something like that was announced way before like him being in the game was announced  at least probably a month before the game actually came out and it's been months since that and we've  slowly been getting new characters I think every one or two months so far we've gotten omn man  I think we've gotten Quant and then now we're finally getting Peacemaker and I'm just waiting  to the days till we get homelander cuz I love the boys but yeah so they finally added Peacemaker he

  John Cena is amazing in every way just everything he does in the games all the new dialogue he  recorded the way he interacts with all these characters the fatalities the brutalities he has  eagly I'm I'm a really big fan of The Peacemaker show I don't know if you've seen it but it is  it's so funny it's like Peak James gun and if the rest of the DC Universe ahead of this is just  like Peacemaker obviously with comedy dumbed down a little bit I'm so up for it how has Peacemaker  changed the wa

y that the meta in Mortal Kombat has been since his since he was added to the  game I would say he's changed it in the way that it leaves it it makes a lot of references  to other DC characters so it makes you wonder if anyone else is going to end up coming in here  you know into the universe like I think one of cuz each character has an intro whenever you fight you  get like a little intro sequence and it's two or three lines of dialogue between the characters and  they reference I think I I kn

ow for sure Joker and they referenced Batman in one of them I'm really  curious if like maybe that's one day we'll have that we've had Joker in the past I think in the  last Mortal Kombat game we had Joker but imagine Batman it wouldn't really work cuz fatalities and  you know killing and stuff but I'm just wondering who's going to come next and in future DLC uh I'm  hoping they go back to um horror for the next uh season pass that they're going to do for Mortal  Kombat you know because they've

been doing horror characters every single one except for this one so  I'm hoping that they go with the and Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series or a Pennywise would  be cool Michael Myers just something you know that can just bring more uh of that like aspect  to the game the kind of horror elements and the kind of stuff that makes Mortal Kombat different  from all these other fighting games because it's like you know taking advantage of the violence  of the game gotcha yeah he's definitely be

en a welcome addition among my other friends and a lot  of people seem to play him and I I do believe the fatalities and the brutalities that have been very  creative in the way that incorporate his character I do agree all right so since we're on the topic  of like recent new gaming content coming out something that's coming out very soon would be the  Star Wars Battlefront collection releasing on May or March 14 which is going to include Battlefront  one and two The Originals with new maps you

got two new Heroes you got I think it's AA Secura if  I'm not mistaken and Visto which weren't in the original game as far as I know and then as well  as implementing a 64 player multiplayer which I am Head Over Heals for I'm so excited I I am  trying to figure out what console to get it on I'm getting it on PS5 oh are you yeah I'm trying  to see because okay I am not sure if it's going to have crossplay or not no so I'm I'm assuming  it's not because yeah it's like an older game they don't wan

t to implement that engine so I'm trying  to decide what where I can go which console I can go on just to play with friends yeah the the only  way people can play together on separate consoles is if you're on P if someone is on PS5 and your  their friend is on is so broke and has a PS4 oh yeah yeah the cross gen right that's right  cross gen I'm definitely it's definitely has been the way this game has been promoted and just  casually just the news has just been dropped it's just I think hilario

us cuz there hasn't been any  big announcements it's all been like circulated through articles and and videos on YouTube but  the no official advertisements at least to my knowledge that I've seen regarding the Battlefront  collection and it's definitely something I'm looking forward to because I've always been a  big fan of the original battlefronts although that my favorite Battlefront isn't included in the  collection which was the PlayStation Portable the PSP Battlefront called Elite S quadr

on which  I really enjoyed but it's really welcoming to see that all of the DLC is going to be for free I  do wonder how they're going to monetize the game because that's everybody's aim nowadays in the  gaming industry and of course you know how the game is going to run and what's the long-term  going to look like for this game I just want to note that it's honestly surprising that this  game is going to be on sale for $30 like I know it is technically like a re-release like it's not a  remaste

r but the fact that you know in modern day where they're releasing something like old with  new features is crazy to me like it's something that we don't see that often so I'm wondering if  that's going to become maybe the norm and maybe they're going to bring back other Star Wars games  like this I would be a really big fan of that like how you were speaking on the game on the PSP I  did not play that one but my first introduction to the battlefield series or the Battlefront  my apologies was o

n PSP I remember playing Battlefront 2 on the PSP as a kid and it was my  uncle's PSP and I was literally amazed being able to be a stormtrooper being able to be a I remember  being a scout trooper and I was just mesmerized by being like in the world because at the time we  had you know little we had a lot of different Star Wars games but it was like we had once from  the based on the characters from the movies and I just always I've always had a thing for video game  movie tie-in like Chicken L

ittle was that a thing I play Chicken Little the game the chicken little  DS game was a real thing out of 10 what would it be what would you give it oh man like a six damn  I did used to play a lot of the did you ever play like the game the video games that were based on  shows so they had a Fairly Odd Parents game that was amazing they had a edit and Edie game that  was amazing what the Yeah I swear if you have an emulator you got to download it oh they had what  else do they have the Jimmy Neu

p this episode it was just recently announced that the stalker series the  legendary stalker series which is a well-known PC series series on PC is going to be over it's going  to be coming to Xbox and PlayStation 5 as well so it's you know it's an upward Trend a lot of things  are going happening but yeah it's really cool seeing what they're going to do with cross gen  especially PS4 and PS5 yeah now that you mention it it is Al going back into crossplay crossplay  we're seeing it more and more

become evident in gaming today while it isn't in these older kind  of games like the Battlefront collection it is in a lot of these new life service games or any  game really that if if you think of it having multiplayer your mind instantly tries to be like  okay is it gonna have crossplay and I hope that I do think that it is a future of gaming I just  want to see more and more games have crossplay because I do play with a lot of different  friends who have either PC or Playstation or Xbox and

while I do have an Xbox and a PS5 a lot  of my friends play PC so being able to play with them makes me want to play because I am a more  I love single player games but if I'm playing a game that has multiplayer I need to be playing  with other people or I get lost in it like bored so I do think that crossplay is something that  should be more frequent and I think it should be the norm how do you feel about that to me I  I I do think crossplay is a great thing because it allows for people to do

come together and play  different sorts of games together one of the most recent things that sorry let me take the step back  one of the newest things have that PS5 Xbox and PC with regarding Discord have done lately have  been the ability to connect your Playstation or Xbox like mic up to a Discord so you're talking  natively through your console on Discord so that way your friends that are using the Discord app  on their computer can still hear you as if they were talking to you if you were o

n the computer  as well which is really awesome I do I think that's really cool you know a lot of efforts have  been made across the gaming industry as a whole regarding crossplaying as a late Battlefield  has it Mortal Kombat has it tons of games have it I think the only real downside regarding uh  crossplay would be the fact that games are you know it it goes it erodes the idea of exclusivity  but knowing that games are live service you want to capture the most amount of people possible  and t

he only way to do that is to make games accessible across as many platforms as possible  which is a great thing yeah and I feel like it also increases the lifespan of a game because  too often games are coming out and they're just pumping them out not updating it so then the games  just die off and like the support dies off but if it's something that's being consistently updated  you have the ability to play with anyone you want to I feel like it just makes you want to play  that game more more

than just the month that it it comes out it's going to be something that like  just becomes a staple in your gaming Library yeah especially I I suppose another thing that would  detract people from crossplay which most games that are crossplay you have the ability to turn  it off and just play with other console players or PC players is that when it comes to competitive  games for example like Shooters such as a recent industry hit the finals you go into the whole de  conversation between aim as

sist on controller and then balancing that with the ability to use the  entire arm of your to grab a controller a mouse and use for precise aiming and balancing the  two because I I played the finals and I played ranked all the way up to platinum I didn't I  wanted platinum and I secured it cuz you know ranking up is so hard in that game especially as  a console player because you know everyone on the on a computer it seems to just like just destroy  you because of like laser like aiming and the

y Rec and they did in this season that is coming to an  end by the end this episode is releasing has been nerfed the a assist did they Nerf the a assist so  I guess that would be another takeaway as to like why people would not like crossplay but overall  it's a good thing overall it's a good thing a lot of people like it they even mentioned on link  on LinkedIn of all places about why crossplay is such a great thing in regards to how it affects  the overall health of a game and moving in from c

rossplay moving on from crossplay you know as  much as people want to keep playing from PS5 to Xbox to PC and and all the rigoll people can now  play from PS5 to PS5 Pro and it seems according to W Tech they published an article saying that  the PS5 Pro specs are already being shed by third party Publishers which is a rumor so nothing has  been officially announced and so so those rumors include things like uh 120 frames per second and  also running at 4K at the same time and people are saying t

hat's due to the AI upscaling uh around  which is similar to nvidia's dlss performance improvements and then apparently later down 2024  this console is going to be not only announced but also released but yet there's only all I've all  people I've heard are rumors and crickets what like like you have a PS5 and an Xbox what are you  going to do now man it's funny cuz of course they announced this literally like right after I just  bought a PS5 cuz that's usually what happens that happened to me

with the Xbox 360 I remember  I bought the 3 x60 Elite and then literally like the month a month after they announced the  Xbox one goes into my usual kind of luck but I'm curious to see how like the difference between  the consoles cuz if it's a console that's going to be playing up to 120 frames per second that's  literally a PC so I'm really curious as to how it's going to play and then how it's going to  look and you know if it's really going to be a difference and if it's really going to be

worth  upgrading cuz mine I just have the the digital version I'm just curious how what the difference  would be yeah I I have the disc version of the PS5 and if a PS Pro releases sometime this year I  would I definitely look will look into trading it in for the pro to enhance my experience because  I think the PS5 although some people don't like the outer exterior look I personally really enjoy  it I think it's a really cool thing and the way it's handled the loading times everything that's  b

een advertised for the console has been Stellar I don't think like I've been sold garbage  it's definitely is the leading console of the once again PlayStation is the leading console  manufacturer for good reasons this is going to be this is going to be controversial but I prefer  Xbox it's okay man you can like I've always been an Xbox guy I prefer my series X I do I have the  Halo edition of the series X so beautiful I don't think I'm going to end up upgrading my PlayStation  just because I do

have the Spider-Man Edition cuz you know that I'm like the hugest spider or I'm  like one of the biggest Spider-Man fans like so to me nothing nothing is more beautiful than my  PlayStation and my Xbox just get the plates from like a third party website bro oh for the new  one yeah see okay what makes mine different I don't think I've showed you this but I have my  my Spider-Man PS5 is signed by Tony Todd so who plays who voices Venom is signed by Yuri lenthal  who plays Peter Parker and also n

iji who plays Miles Morales so I have all I have the three main  voice actors for that game signed on there so I'm never replacing it I'm that is a priz possession  definitely hopefully you don't break your PS5 in the future that would suck yeah but yeah with  a PS5 Pro coming over The Horizon a ton of new games have are also coming and one of the one  of the two that we're going to talk about today Epic Mickey Epic Mickey first released on the Wii  to my for me to remember back in 2010 it is go

ing to be a remake it's according to Gamespot it is  the game is going to be developed by developer called purple lamp and the game's original creator  waren Spectre is still at the helm which is cool according to Spectre as he uh uh on at this game  article called Epic Mickey 3 is impossible but serious creator has some ideas he says that he he  said I'd love to do Epic Mickey 3 but I have a day job that would make it that impossible I actually  have a high level idea for what I do in a tri in

a trio so that's really interesting it seems  like Epic Mickey is on the horizon oh no it is actually you're right there it is a real official  trailer for it and but the problem is according to the article that the war inspector still is  currently at a different develop development studio called other side entertainment which  is working on games such as Argos Riders of the storm and thick as thieves giving some Exposition  as to this game what what is it the what are your expectations what ar

e your thoughts where do you  want it to be released on or what do you or what consoles do you know that it's already going to  be released on confirmed all right I personally have never played the original Epic Mickey but I  did see the trailer and the graphics look insane like the difference between the the two games is  insane and like I said I'm so down for old games to be remastered with up Graphics but like keeping  the original story I'm so down for that and as far as what consolle it's g

oing to come out in I know  it's going to come out on PC on PS4 on PS5 switch Xbox One and on the series X and S later this  year so that's actually pretty pretty crazy cuz they just announced it that's great yeah a lot of  definitely looking forward to it I might get it I might get it to be honest I really I thought  the original one was really cool but I never got a Wii during that time I was a PSP PS3 head  I know you're a 360 guy we don't got to get into this no it's crazy cuz I grew up on P

layStation  so I had my very first console PS1 and then I had yeah I literally I got I had I've had every  PlayStation console but nothing compares to the Xbox 360 in my eyes I also have a Wii I had my  fair Sher of consoles except the original Xbox I have not had that one but yeah but yeah I have  I did have that I also had a PSP I love PSP PSP's lit yeah favorite games on there Battlefront 2 and  that Daxter game if you ever play Jack and Daxter yeah go dude but I do want to try out this game 

when it comes out I'm hoping that it's not like a $70 release that would be so dumb yeah so if  it's something that's like a 30 maybe 40 I I'm open to it because I I think there's so many like  opportunities for cool things with this and I hope they end up doing more than one yeah I hope this  game isn't 70 of course that would be super dumb that would be really dumb to put it in the nicest  most advertis terms possible yeah this it's not it's no bueno for them to leaves it at that kind  of pri

ce I don't maybe 50 since it's a remake I know the Dead Space remake was around that price  man that game was great and I hope this one is too and and if it sells well it'll be great to see  them remake the second game hopefully they tweak it so that way it's not as bad as the as it was  when it first released because the second one was what killed the series if I remember correctly or  misremember yeah but for those that want to know what the official title of the game is called it  is Disney E
