We, Nicolás Kingman and Magalí Kanterewizc, currently staying at Solukhumbu in the Everest Area, have decided to stay in Nepal until August and provide a helping hand. As in many other areas in Nepal, where we are at the moment, government and NGO’s help is limited or non-existent, but the needs are immense.

Wir sind Nicolás Kingman und Magalí Kanterewizc und befinden und momentan in der Mt. Everest Region Solukhumbu. Wir haben uns entschieden nach dem katastrophalen Erdbeben in Nepal in der Region zu bleiben um die Einheimischen in dieser schweren Situation zu unterstützen. Wir sammeln Spenden und bringen diese direkt in die Region um den Menschen die lebenswichtige Grundversorgung zu sichern. Bisher gibt es kaum oder gar keine Hilfe von internationalen Hilfsorganisationen bzw. der nepalesischen Regierung in dieser abgeschotteten Region.

Due to the earthquake in April 25th
our house was fully destroyed So we need to rebuild it It was about one week that the quake was stabilized
and everybody thought that it was gone So we were planning to rebuild and we need
to make cement to plaster the house So we were in the riverbank to bring sand My father was a bit ahead I was with my mother
and it suddenly started to shake again We are really in problem
we have no carpenters, no house-builders They are also back to their home because thei
r
home is also damaged The government hasn't done nothing in this
place because only Thame area is damaged in full Solukhumu Much of the Solukhumu is damaged but our place
is badly damaged Also the media people think that nothing has
happened here so there are no funds from the government
side but private sites like Apa Sherpa and other popular
peoples they are raising funds from their own We are somehow get a bit of help
lets hope everything will get better We have to hold each others hands and
move
forward We all now that the road ahead is hard But moving together will make it easier. Thank you!
