Welcome to Education Day. Great to see everybody. I'm Laura Zakowski, Vice Chair for Education,
and very happy to see everybody here as we celebrate great scholarship, mentors, educators, all sorts of people who
support education in our department. (Thorunn Thordardottir, MD, speaking)
Uh, what excites me about Education Day is to learn about all these different projects. Also, just sitting and seeing the
awards session was very inspiring; to see these amazing,
amazing clinicians, um, how they teach and how, um, successful
they are and how important this is. (Alexandra Wick, MD, speaking)
Education is kind of the one reason that I, really one of the
main reasons that I became a doctor. And I love teaching and learning from everybody
else, what they're doing with their medical students, with their residents. And it's
just a really exciting part of my career. (Laura Zakowski speaking)
Well, this has been a great Education Day and we celebrated schola
rship, mentorship, teaching, support in education,
