Hello, friends! If you, your friends, or someone from your family, believes in Astrology, then pay attention to this video. Fasten your seat belts because this video may shock you. Today, we will do the biggest exposé of this fraud industry. A fraud industry that has fooled millions of people. Why do I say it's fraud? I'll explain that later in this video. And why do millions of people fall for it? I'll explain that too, additionally, if you are one of the people who claim that astrology works f
or them, that they genuinely believe in it, don't worry, I will make some astrological predictions for you. Yup, that's right, I don't know what's your date of birth or your name, but since you're watching this video, I will make some predictions through this video about your personality that will shock you to your core. "People go to astrologers, palm readers, have birth charts made, educated youth are also falling for these traps." "I'll tell you how you can be wealthy." "We're from the modern
age, we're educated, should we believe in this?" "Nothing is destined, God hasn't made you a puppet chasing a destiny." Friends, some weeks ago, the Indian cricket team was unfortunately eliminated from the T20 World Cup, after losing the semi-final match against England. Unfortunately. Does that mean that they had a bad fortune? If astrologers are to be believed, it was the opposite. According to them, the Indian Cricket Team's fortune was exceedingly good. Before the semi-final match, a news
program was run on ABP, "11 Astrologers Will Predict Our World Cup Win." 11 astrologers on this news program, made some astounding astrological predictions. "I can 100% guarantee that India will win." "You give a 100% guarantee too, okay." "If we look at India's charts, tomorrow's victory is certain." Apart from India's win, several of these astrologers even predicted that the match would be neck-to-neck battle. "It will be a close match, but there's a 100% guarantee of a victory." "It will be a
n amazing match, that will be finally won by India." "The teams are well-matched." For those of you who don't watch cricket, let me tell you this turned out to be a completely one-sided match. There was no neck-to-neck battle. India scored 168 runs, and England chased this target in 16 overs without losing any wickets. Guinness World Record poked fun at India on Twitter and asked whether this was the easiest run chase in history. But according to the astrologers, this was supposed to be a close
match, with India's win guaranteed. Well, you lose some you win some in cricket matches, but to be this wrong with astrological predictions, this wasn't the first time, friends. Each year, astrologers make millions of predictions that turn out to be false, but people are unbothered about it. A famous historian, Francesco Guicciardini had said, Compared to the common people, astrologers lead an easier life. Even by telling one truth among hundreds of lies, they make people believe in themselves.
But if a common man, tells hundreds of truths but one turns out to be false, he loses all credibility. Isn't that something? Why does this happen? Let's discuss this later in the video. But before that, let's look at some more false predictions. Covid-19 prediction by India's most famous astrologer Bejan Daruwalla, in 2020 he had said that after 15th May 2020, Covid-19 will be completely eradicated. Or would slow down to a large extent. "Around May 15th, this Corona or whatever you want to call
it will be greatly reduced. It may even be eradicated." Several other astrologers gave similar predictions about Covid-19. "It will not peak, we have already passed the peak." "On 30th March, Jupiter will leave Ketu, and enter Capricorn. That means after 30th March, we will be steadily rid of the Coronavirus' influence." "On 19th September, Rahu will enter Taurus, so you can think of it as this problem will last only till 19th September. History is filled with such predictions. In 1499, a famous
German mathematician and astrologer Johannes Stöffler predicted, that the world will end on 20th February 1524. After a big flood that will wash away everything. That didn't happen. A Christian numerologist David Meade predicted that on 23rd September 2017, the world will end, when a hidden planet will collide with Earth. That didn't happen either. An American preacher Harold Camping had claimed that the world will end on 21st May 2011. He put up his message on 5,000 billboards. But when that d
idn't happen, he postponed the date to October. And when the world didn't end in October 2011, he finally decided to keep quiet. But it's truly fascinating, friends, that some people listen to these and genuinely believe them. Around 2009-2010, major news going around was that as per the Mayan calendar, that spanned 5,125 years, would end on 21st December 2012. People believed that on that day, the world will end. Reuters carried out an opinion poll of 16,000 people, across 20 countries. And fou
nd that 1 out of 7 people believed in it. That the world will end in 2012. Why though? Why do people believe these? When in reality, these astrological predictions do not even have 0.1% scientific basis. For example, Dr Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, who won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry, had clearly said that the movement of stars and planets in the sky, have no effect on the lives of humans. There's no scientific basis for this. Scientists all around the world agree with this. But you don't have to
listen to a Nobel Prize winner or an acclaimed scientist, If you had studied science properly till 10th grade, you can draw the same conclusions. Do you know which force is exerted by the Sun and other planets on Earth? Gravitational Force. Moon exerts a similar gravitational force on the Earth, that causes high tides and low tides in the oceans. Notably, the gravitational force is simply an attractive force that depends on the mass and distance between two objects. So how can gravitational for
ce dictate whether you will get your dream job or not? Or whether you'll get admission to your favourite college or not. Secondly, think about this logically. Suppose there's a person Ramesh and a person Suresh, Ramesh was born in January, and Suresh was born in July. Is it possible that the gravitational force on the two will be different? Does the Sun discriminate among people based on their birth date? Having more gravitational force on some and lesser on others. Does this make any sense? Or
our dear Mars, does that discriminate in its gravitational force and bring good luck only to a chosen few? Only one thing comes to mind after this logic, "Not one thing is wrong with this, It is entirely wrong." But if you still do not believe in science, let's use some more logic to convince you. Let's take an example. The sun sign Aquarius, for the people with birthdays between 20th January to 18th February, After this, the next sign in Pisces, starting from 19th February. Here, imagine three
people. Bunty, Babli, and Bablu. Bunty was born on 20th January, Babli on 18th February, and Bablu on 19th February. Bunty and Babli's birthdays are nearly a month apart. But the two have the same horoscope. Both have the same sun sign, Aquarius. But the birthdays of Bablu and Babli are just a day apart, but their horoscopes are completely different. Does this make any sense? Two people who have birthdays so close to each other, have vastly different futures. And the two with a month between the
m, have the same good lucks and bad lucks. The second point, it's said that astrology relates to the date and time of a person's birth. It means that twins who are born minutes apart, should have similar lives. But we do not see this happening. In 1958, this was studied. In London, more than 2,000 children that we born at the same time, were registered for this study. Over the next few decades, they were monitored, and their development was noted. Researchers saw more than 100 different characte
ristics. What type of job these did kids choose as adults? Were they married or remained unmarried? How was their personality? What was their IQ level? How good were they in sports? How good were they in mathematics? How was their anxiety level? And when the result of this study was published in 2003, in the Journal of Consciousness Studies, it was found that these 2,000 people shared no similarities. When children born at the same time do not have any similarities, people who were born a month
apart, how can they have the same horoscope? Compare this to any tragedy. A bridge collapsing, an earthquake, or a flood, where hundreds of people die together, were those 100 people born at the same time? Did they have the same horoscope? Were their astrological signs the same? Absolutely not. Third, if our destiny, our future, has already been decided, how can some mediocre astrologer change that? The solutions these astrologers present to the gullible people, Nirmal Baba claims that by having
green chutney with samosa, you'll have good luck. "Where did you come across samosas?" "My father ordered 2 samosas, I had one of them." "You had your father's share as well? You had fried food. The thing is, get him more samosas. And you'll get good luck!" The moon in the sky will look down and think since this person is having green chutney with his samosa, it should stop bothering them. Since green chutney is the Moon's favourite. Or some people even say, adding an extra R in one's name, wil
l bring in more luck. If Ayushman Khurana added another R to his name, it will give him better luck. Or if you take away the H from Rani Mukherji's name, the stars and planets in space will start exerting a different type of force. Adding an extra S in Tushar. Calling him Tusshar Kapoor, instead of Tushar Kapoor. Will bring him so much good luck, that he'll be a superstar overnight. But to be a good actor, you need to have good acting skills. If someone could be a good actor simply with an extra
S, everyone would have an extra S in their name. Fourth, many people match their birth charts before selecting a spouse, and the wedding takes place at an auspicious time on an auspicious date, decided by an astrologer. It's said that not doing so will be bad for married life. So the people who followed these, do not get divorced? And countries where these customs do not exist, do they not have successful marriages? The fifth and most important point, if an astrologer's predictions are truly ac
curate, why do they not invest their money in the stock market? They know all, they can predict everything. They could invest their money and earn millions. Think about it yourself, they're out here predicting the results of cricket matches, they predict which films would be a hit, and which would flop, they advise businessmen on how to do business. If they know so much, they should go trade on the stock market and win lotteries. But you will not see astrologers investing their money and becomin
g billionaires. Instead, what do we see, poor astrologers asking for your money. Friends, if you are interested in knowing about stars and planets, study astronomy, not astrology. Read books like A Bried History of Time by Stephen Hawking. Another book that I'd recommend is Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. You can find the summaries of both books on KUKU FM as audiobooks, KUKU FM is a brilliant platform for audio learning. On it, you can find many such audiobooks to listen to. Normally, it co
sts ₹399 for the annual subscription but if you use the coupon code DHRUV50, the annual subscription will cost you only ₹199. The link to it is in the description below. And now let's get back to astrology. It is full of logical fallacies. I've listed down so many points, explicitly saying that they are logically wrong, scientifically wrong, that it doesn't even make any sense, but millions of people still believe in astrology. Why? Friends, there can be 3 main reasons for this. First, the weak
minds of people. Friends, our future is uncertain. All of us have uncertain futures. No one can guarantee for sure, that something will happen in our future 100%. And uncertainty bothers people. People want certainty in their lives. People want their futures to be guaranteed, secured, and safe for sure. People want to lead a good life, but they are scared of uncertainty, the solution to this fear is astrology. Astrological predictions give certainty to people. A positive prediction by an astrolo
ger fills a person with happiness. It gives them security. Swami Vivekananda said that such beliefs were a sign of a weak mind. And normally, such people should see a doctor, but people choose to see an astrologer. Since these people already believe in astrology, since it wants to believe in astrology, these people will not question or doubt the astrologer. What every astrologer says, people will believe the astrologer blindly. Because that's exactly what they want to do. They want certainty in
their lives. But if you are not one of those people, if you have a healthy, doubtful approach to life, but you still fall for the astrologer's hollow words, the second reason for that is even more interesting. Cold reading. By using this technique, astrologers will make such claims. Your fate will take a turn for the better when you turn 30. Pay attention to how generalised the statement was. It could mean anything. "Fate will be better" You may get a new job with a better salary, You may get ma
rried. You may have a baby. Or perhaps you may have barely survived an accident. But you will not see the bad luck of having met with an accident, you will see how lucky you were to have escaped it. Your good fate helped you. Or the astrologer may tell you. An incident happened in your childhood. That has left a lasting impact on your life. Once again, this can mean anything. An Incident may refer to the death of your pet. Or the death of a family member. Or you were abused and bullied. It can m
ean anything. Everyone has some incident in their childhood. But when you hear an astrologer say this, you will think that they might be right. In addition to cold reading, there's another psychological phenomenon, known as Barnum Effect. Also known as the Forer Effect. In 1948, a famous psychological experiment was conducted, by psychologist Bertram R Forer. He gave a test to his class of 39 students. He said that after the test, the answer sheet of each pupil was to be checked, and based on th
eir answers, a personality sketch would be drawn of each student. The students took this test. One week later, everyone got a paper. With their names on the paper, and 13 qualities mentioned on it. The qualities that a person might possess. Some are kind, some a quick to anger. and so on. 13 qualities were listed for each student. Then, psychologist Forer asked his students about what they thought. If the qualities depicted their personalities accurately. The students had to rate the qualities o
n a scale of 0 to 5. Where 5 would mean its 100% accurate, and 0 would mean it is inaccurate and doesn't describe their personality. Of the 39 students, only 5 rated it less than 4. The average accuracy of these reports was 4.26 out of 5. It meant that almost every student believed, that the 13 qualities that were used, accurately described their personalities. And here comes the twist in the story, friends. The twist is that these students were given the same paper with the same qualities writt
en on it. The "personality sketch" was the same for every student. Even so, every student believed that it depicted their unique personality. Forer concluded that by giving a description that was broad and generalised, but present it in a way to suggest that it is drawn up for the individual, people will believe that it is made for them. Why does this happen? Because people like knowing positive things about themselves. If not positive, something that is sympathetic. And second, everyone likes t
o think that they are special. Everyone thinks of themselves as unique. But in reality, people aren't that unique. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. The underlying meaning of this discussion. If not, don't worry, let me use the Barnum Effect on you. Yup. Let us make astrological predictions for you and reveal your personality. Don't believe me? I am talking about you! Yes, you, watching this video on YouTube. I don't know your date of birth, I don't know your name, or your time o
f birth. Even so, I will predict your personality with such accuracy you will be shocked to the core. Actually, why should I do this? Let us call our in-house astrologer to do this. So are you ready for your first predictions? Here it is. You have so much capacity you have not tapped into yet. You need some variety in your life. That's why you do not like anyone restricting you. What do you think, isn't it accurate? Some of you may have herd mentality, But you will not admit to it. This is why y
ou will find the predictions to be correct. It's possible that some of you like routine, wearing the same type of clothes, listening to the same type of music for years, going to the same type of restaurants for years, same type of food even, whether it's chhole bhature, samosa, tikki, to an extent that you don't want to try upma, hummus, or pita bread. But no one will admit it themselves that they want to be restricted by routine. Everyone likes some change. Even if your life is stultifyingly b
oring, you will not want to admit that you lead a boring life. Apart from these positive statements, the sympathetic statements of Forer, are even more mindblowing. See for yourself. You've seen that revealing everything about yourself to someone is not good. Often you doubt whether you made the right decision. Now, if our astrologer presents you with a pleasant mocktail of positive and sympathetic statements, you will gladly drink it. "You are very kind-hearted. Always adjusting for other peopl
e's sake, because the thing that matters most to you if the love and respect of the people. But as a consequence, people take advantage of you. They think of you as an emotional fool." After listening to this, you are wallowing in self-pity and pride. Now you will think that our in-house astrologer is great, makes accurate predictions. How did our astrologer know your unique personality? First, hand in your donations. Just kidding, let's look at some more such techniques. The next technique is p
icking up clues. If you have watched my video with Karan Singh you'll recall what I'm talking about. Astrologers often have an observant mind. Similar to mentalists like Karan Singh. They look for clues all around. How does a person dress, their dressing style, are they wearing a formal shirt and trousers or a t-shirt? What kind of a t-shirt? Are they wearing a kurta-pyjama? If so, is it plain white or is it from a big designer brand? Has the person gained weight or are they fit? What is the lan
guage they use? Do they use plain Hindi or is it a mix of regional languages? Or do they use a lot of English words in Hindi? Are they confident or are they vulnerable? If you observe these aspects of a person, You can guess a lot of things about that person, quite accurately. The type of food they consume, their hobbies, their job, their economic stature, their education level. Astrologers do the same. Felicity Carter worked as an astrologer, she had a nice income, but one day, she was faced wi
th a neurotic person. He didn't want to go to the doctor. After that incident, she realised that she could not go on working as an astrologer. She could not continue fooling people. So she published her tricks in an article in The Guardian. She revealed that during her career in astrology, she heard the same stories repeatedly. People went to her for their problems in romance, work, or to look for a change in their lives. She noticed so many patterns in this story, that as soon as a person came
to her, she could tell from their appearance, the kind of problem the person was going through. With experience, she developed her skill so astutely, that as soon as a heartbroken young person stepped into her office, she would say, "Let her go. She's not worth it." And the person would be shocked at how the astrologer could know what he was going through. By observation. And the final trick is simply fraud. Adopted by many astrologers in India. They try to get information about you through secr
et channels. Shyam Manav is the founder of Akhil Bharatiya Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti An organisation that debunks superstitions. And exposes the fraud that is astrology. They show how when you visit an astrologer in India, and give your information to the receptionist, they give the information to the astrologer, and when the astrologer parrots the same to you, you are left in awe. Once, he went to Indore, to debunk a famous astrologer. He took a rickshaw to get to the astrologer's office.
And on the way, the rickshaw driver struck up a conversation asking him many questions. Shyam Manav was suspicious of the rickshaw driver asking so many questions. So he gave him the wrong information about himself. He said that he was an English professor from Nagpur University. After that, when he went to the fraud astrologer, he heard the announcement, "I had to wait in a queue with about 250-300 people, After waiting for some time, the astrologer loudly exclaimed, asking the English Professo
r from Nagpur University to come up. I was never an English professor at any university. Immediately I knew, the information I gave to the rickshaw driver, had reached him." Friends, these techniques and psychological phenomena are used by these astrologers to fool people. Millions of people in our country are fooled. Not only in our country, but this astrology scam is playing out all over the world. Now that you know the truth, Share this video with your friends, and family members, with the pe
ople who believe in astrology. And ask them to watch the video till the end. I don't want them to be offended by my saying that it affects weak-minded people first. Misinterpreting it as being accused of having a weak mind. This video is for all those YouTubers, influencers, actors, and celebrities as well who believe in these falsehoods. Stop falling for it, and stop dragging down others into it. Many YouTubers are recently following this trend where they see so many people already being fooled
by astrology, so instead of telling them the truth, They take advantage of this and start spinning tales. And make videos on ghosts and demons and witches, and make astrological predictions. Your future is in your hands, friends. It is true that we cannot control many external circumstances, and how they affect your life. Even so, to a large extent, the things under your control will always be in your control alone. And to quite an extent, you are the one to write your destiny. Do remember this
. If you liked this video, you can watch more such videos by clicking here such as this video on Ghosts! Let's meet in the next video. Thank you very much!

Be grateful, love respect others, stay positive, accept whatever good or bad happens in life and move on. Life might not be easy for some but live as if someone is writing a story about you to motive others. Lots of love ❤️✌🏻

When i was in 10th last year my grandma asked to an astrologer if i could score good marks in my board exams and he predicted i could score around 60-70% and due to which my grandma adviced to do some superstitious activities in an order to avoid this..i literally didnt even tried to do all tht and focused on my studies and i was confident i will score more than 90% for sure and actually happened..

@bonnybanerjee7269

I ve never visited an astrolger..but I'm very much interested in this subject.and in my few years of studying vedic astrology I've found out from my personal experience that one who has very deep knowledge in this subject can predict quite a few if not everything. Being a science student i can say it's really a science..but most of the people can't read it quite well as its a vast and complex topic

@preetp6646

Watching after astrotalk ad 😂😂😂

@Quizbanners.

only hardwork is the biggest reality in the world ,nothing else

what’s ironic is that i got an ad of Astrotalk while watching this 💀

Once an astrologer said me that you can't become a doctor. I studied hard and got selected in MBBS. I am a doctor now.😂

@jainamshah1490

I was lucky to have met a learned Astrologer who had correctly updated regarding several aspects of my life/nature on my 1st meet with him (he didn't have background information about me). No form of knowledge will ever survive the test of time if it was of no use to general public. Shouldn't defame entire Astrology community because of incompetent Astrologers who are practising solely for monetary purposes. Nowadays, Anyone having some followers and video making ability tends to give extreme Conclusions without having any qualification regarding that field themselves (just to gain more Views, Likes and in turn more money..)

@awais105794

Love the way you describe things and stories, bro. You make things very simple for a commoner to understand. Lots of respect for you from a Pakistani living in Thailand.

@RahulSharma-hx1ug

Thanks! From Rahul in canada. For the past 30 plus years I am here in North america and came to this country with $350 went through a lot of ups and downs. I can write a long story but you have opened my eyes. Thanks.

Great job. Love your content. I am a doctor and love that you are spreading and promoting scientific temper. However, the stupid youtube algorithm is showing astrology and palmistry app ads in your video.

@Serendiptous_Rohit

Watching Dhruv is like an investment for own education ☺️

@MegaLuxLifestyle

Watching the video on how astrology may not always be accurate, I appreciate the insights shared. In my view, life is like a big puzzle, where astrology might be just one piece. I believe in working hard, staying positive, and dreaming big. It's like having a plan, but also being open to surprises. Life is a mix of what the stars say and what we make of it. Let's create our own story with a positive attitude and hard work! 🌟💪

In 2018, a famous astrologer of Kerala predicted that there would be less rainfall in the state that year...but it is in the same year, Kerala faced the greatest flood due to heavy rainfall...that year recorded one of the heavy rainfall in the history of Kerala

@fakhruddinshaik

I found a lot of difficulty understanding clearly your videos in Hindi by the public of South India where people are yet respecting the truth, reality and transparency. Is it possible to engage people to translate your content into local and regional languages through dubbing so that they will reach the people who are interested in current situations and reality. It would be a source of providing work to the worthy.
