Which animal is this? Hey this is me shooting my youtube videos with a camera, which many people call a DSLR. Which mic is this, how is this light kept here? Am I reading this script from my laptop? Am I recording this voice from the phone? Yess.. And by the end of this video you will know everything about videos. That How To Make Videos Like Me Videos. Yes, first of all it starts with the video idea. Now whenever a video idea comes to me, I write it down in my notes. Or I have a note taking app
called Craft, I note down all the ideas that come to me, and there I have made a complete list. As soon as I have to work on a video topic, I double click it and start writing the script inside it. And that's where all the thumbnails, video titles, ideas, everything comes. And as the video becomes complete, I tick it there and then that video becomes complete. Making a list of video ideas like this is very beneficial because whenever you don't have any video ideas, you can go to this list. And
second, along with the title, I also write there that how much time will be required to shoot this video. Now as I am uploading one video in every week and I think this video can be ready in 2 days then I start working on another video. And in the last 2 days, I record that video and post it. Due to this, work is going on on two videos at the same time and time is managed well. Secondly, whenever I come across a title or an idea, I write it down. But I write four to five titles related to the sa
me topic and see which one will be the best? Now like this document is of the video of the missing movie. As soon as I got the idea of this video, I saved that title. But when you go inside the notes by double clicking, you will see four, five more similar titles. I can choose any of these. I took the one which seemed more appealing. Another advantage of this is that you will get a word from it which you can use as a text on your thumbnail. And in the middle of this video or at the end, I am als
o going to tell you a hidden trick by which you can make your video viral. So if you want a good video on which people are also more interested, then you have to pay a lot of attention to its 30 second intro. Don't be like the rest of the guys, Hello & Welcome to my YouTube channel, like the video before moving on.. Try that the intro should be completely different and powerful from your video, like Mr. Beast's videos. That intro should look a bit like a YouTube short has been played in front of
you. Friends, do you know this guy can eat 12 rasgullas.. Perhaps I had seen such short video somewhere. When I sit down to scripting, I write down all the points that come to my mind in bullet points. And when I feel that I have covered all the points, then I expand them and I do my whole script word by word. There are many people who write only points in the script, but here I write word to word script and try to speak it like this. Although I do stray a little here and there. By writing word
to word, you never deviate from your point and the video does not become too long. Second, it is also good for your audience that you get more information in less words Earlier I used to write my script in notebook, not in this notebook, this notebook. Because nothing feels like writing on paper with a pen. If you write the script on paper, you already know what to say next. This is how I used to write the script in a notebook, with different pens if I have to write a lot of characters. The who
le script used to be in the right, where do I want to shoot that scene, it used to be in the left. But now I create my scripts digitally, that too in the Craft Notes app. Because when I used to do on paper, I had to do everything by cutting it and putting arrows on it. But I can easily make changes here, move anything, anywhere. Second point, here you can put links and also put images in your notes. So there is little advantage to scripting digitally. So this is my studio computer table and it's
going to change very soon on the new set up. Now whenever I make an informative video in which I have to show computer screen, I connect my Mac to my monitor and then start screen recording. Now this PC which is behind me, I can also do screen recording in it. But come today I will tell you why I do not do screen recording in this? Whenever you do a screen recording in MacOS, it comes in very high quality even if you zoom it. And if I am telling something in Premiere Pro or any other program an
d I want to zoom in and show it, then here you look at the screen recording of PC and here you look at the screen recording of Mac. Don't know, there is definitely some problem with the font in Windows. But I prefer Mac for screen recording so that you can easily see or understand anything in the video. After that I use camera Sony A7S III in which I am currently shooting 1080p RAW. And 1080p is enough for youtube according to me. The rest, while exporting, I do it in 4k, for some percent of the
public who want to be happy in 4k. And the lens I am using is 16-35 mm F2.8, you can see better blur even from such a distance. And I also use a green screen. Yes it's ok now So you can also get this type of green screen. This is just a curtain and these are both its stands. If you want, you can leave the stand and ask for a curtain, hang it on any wall and you have got a green screen, that's it. And yes, whenever you shoot with the camera, many times you say something else, many times the wor
ds go wrong. I also fumble too many times. I mess up many times in speaking I. There is a light on my left side, which is a Philips light of around 50 watts. This is not an expensive and professional light, but still it brightens up a lot. I have switched off all the lights, only one light of 50W is on. And let me show you how I assembled it. And this light is very cheap, you can get four of these made for around the same amount as a professional light would cost you. After that I have some more
lights like this, you see this purple light. So this is one light from Wipro which is colour changing and I have two or three small lights which I use occasionally. And I keep monitoring myself on the phone, whatever I am recording I can see on the phone. As you can see now. And this is Monitor Plus app, it has the advantage that I can apply colour grade directly here and I will keep knowing whether I have to change ISO or not. And for recording I sometimes use my phone too. If you use your pho
ne then set it to highest setting, if your phone has 4k then switch it to 4k, shoot with back camera. And if you have an iPhone, then there is no need to do any manual extra camera app in it which other youtubers tell. Shoot directly from the camera app on your phone. And if you have android then you can use google camera if you have in your phone. Or there is a free app Open Camera which I used to use as well. There you get to see all the settings, you don't have to change anything from inside.
Shoot at 4k, 60 Fps, which you can slow down later. And there is no point in paying money for any useless app, use those apps which are on your phone. For a long time, I use my phone's microphone because the phone's microphone is the best. Now whatever phone is made, it is mainly made for calling, so whatever mic is fitted in it is of the best quality. The best is to use your phone's mic and keep the phone at such a distance and your audio will come out crisp & clear. And if you have too much e
cho in your room, you put a towel over your head and then record the voice over. Now for editing, first of all I transfer my video by inserting the card. After that we'll open Premiere Pro, I edit in Premiere Pro. Right now here I can give you two or four tips, first of all I cut by looking at the audio. And you should also do the same for fast edit. As you can see here this audio is starting from here, so I will cut here, I will go a little further and I will cut this gap, delete it. I will go
ahead, cut it, then I will go ahead, cut it, and this gap is there, I will delete it too. And you can see there is no gap left in the video and you have to do the same. As you can see here, the bar of audio is going down, so you cut it right here. So with this your video will be very fast, and will not be boring at all. Second tip, whenever you are making cuts in your video and you have a lot of cuts in a short time like in this one. So as if two cuts have come here and it looks very harsh. So I
'll take the middle clip and go into Effects Control and scale it down here and bring myself to the centre. This will play again.. Now that harsh cut is unrecognisable, it looks absolutely seamless because we zoomed in on the middle clip. This is a very simple trick that everyone uses in their videos and you too should start doing it. Always don't put too many gaps in the video, keep very fast pacing which makes the video more interesting. Now from where will I get the music in this video? Music
we use is from Epidemic Sound. I made a playlist in the description where you can go and check out the music in my videos, the music in the videos of the vlog channel. And before the Epidemic Sound, we used to use the YouTube studio library You can use that but in that the music gets updated after a long time. So we had used mostly all the musics which were good. Then we subscribed to Epidemic and now very good music is available there. And yes, the background music of this viral song was also
from Epidemic. Yes, this is a paid website, but if you want good quality of music, you can get it from here. Otherwise I also have a free alternative which is Mixkit Here you go to the music section, here you will get royalty free music. Dude, this is really cool. You don't just get music, here you get a lot of things like videos, which you can use in your videos, then you get sound effects here. And here you get templates. You can find templates here for everything from Premiere Pro, After Eff
ects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve. And I use these templates in my videos too. You can download anything from here, that too absolutely free. And there is another similar website that I use, Jitter.Video. As you come here, you will get to see a lot. Go to templates and you will find messaging, logo, background, subscribe or like or star everything here. Just click over here, edit it and then you can export it right here and it can work on the phone as well. Now after editing come on thumbnails. I
decide beforehand how to make thumbnails. After shooting this whole video, I will make another video, in which I will take the poses of thumbnails. And then when I'm editing, I'll export that frame and take it directly into Photoshop. I edit all my thumbnails in Photoshop and it's been a long time since a thumbnail tutorial came out on Photoshop. So if this video is of some use and you want another video related to thumbnail then do 1000 comments on this video and my next video will be how do I
make my thumbnails? But still let me give some tips for thumbnails. First of all, come to Photoshop in the background, and by right clicking here, click on select custom colour and make it white. Because most of the people run YouTube in light mode, you will know how your thumbnail will look like on YouTube while making it. Second tip, go here in Windows and select the navigator here. What will be your benefit from Navigator, whatever you create here will be visible here. Right now it is in a s
mall space, so the thumbnail of YouTube also comes on the same space. And you will keep on knowing that if your thumbnail is looking small then how will it look? Or you can try a web site called thumbsup.tv Here you have to drop your thumbnail and then as you go down it will show you how your thumbnail will look on home page, how it will look in sidebar or how it will look in history, how it will look in watch later, how it will look in mobile. And you can turn on dark mode from here. How will y
our thumbnail look in dark mode? After that one last tip for the thumbnails. Always add some text in your thumbnail. After that I upload the video and I have downloaded an extension of tube buddy. And I go to its SEO feature and enter the title of the video, and search how many people are searching for that title. Now this good and bad feature of it is nonsense. But you can search here that how many people are searching for that title or the thing on which you have made a video? The more people
are searching about that thing, the more are the chances of your video going viral. And this was that last hidden trick. So brother, it is very hot, I cannot turn on the AC because then its sound will come and you will be disturbed. So I told this also because this is how I script, shoot and edit my videos. And if you like the video then subscribe the video, like the channel. And editor sir just cut here.
