In 2014, there were 1,227 incidents of communal riots in India. This number had fallen to 307 in 2021. This trend has accelerated even

more during Modi's time. There has been an exception in this when in 2020, this number spiked during the riots that took place after Shaheen Bagh and on Republic Day after the Farmers' Protest. And it is important to discuss this also. After Shaheen Bagh, the rioters openly indulged in violence for 2 days in Delhi, and the police was activated after 2 days. Remember that Delhi Police comes under Home Minister Amit Shah. Almost the same thing happened at the time of the Farmers' Protest, when the

re were riots on 26 January at our Red Fort, even at that time the police was not activated properly, on the contrary, the rioters were attacking the police. Remember that near Delhi, Uttar Pradesh also has a BJP government, but neither at the time of the Farmers' protest nor at the time of the CAA protest, did even a single riot take place in UP. So clearly the BJP government knows how to control riots, and how to handle law and order situations. So the question arises as to why the Central Gov

ears of this term, before the end of 2024, I am building 26 Green Express Highways. Delhi to Dehradun in 2 hours, Delhi to Haridwar in 2 hours, Delhi to Jaipur in 2 hours, Delhi to Chandigarh in 2.5 hours, Delhi to Amritsar in 4 hours, Delhi to Katra in 6 hours, Delhi to Srinagar in 8 hours, Delhi to Mumbai in 12 hours, Chennai to Bengaluru in 2 hours, Lucknow to Kanpur in 35 minutes, and it is already ready in Meerut. It used to take 4.5 hours from Meerut to Delhi, now it takes 40 minutes. And

according to what John F Kennedy had said, you can see that by improving infrastructure and roads, the economy improves. In the last 10 years, 95,000 km of highways have been developed. Recently, India has left China behind in terms of road connectivity. India is currently the country with the second largest road connectivity in the world. ds, according to the government, toilet coverage across the country has increased from 55% to 99% in 2014. Due to government investment, 52% of India i.e. 759 million people are able to access the internet by 2022. This number is goin

g to increase to 900 million in 2025. And the interesting thing is that more than half of these people come from rural areas. So the government's investment and innovations like Reliance Jio have made the internet very widespread and affordable in India, which not only brings many advantages, but unfortunately, we also have to see this kind of cringe. But for the overall war footing work that has been done in providing roads, internet connections, providing water to homes and providing toilets, the government gets 7 out of 10 secular salutes. Now let's talk about finance and economy. In 2014, India was the 10th largest economy in the world, and today India is the 5th largest economy, and it is projected that in a few years, India is going to become the 3rd largest economy in the world. To understa

nd how India has grown and how the BJP government has performed in the last few years, we will look at some parameters such as GDP, income, inflation, fiscal deficit, FDI, digital transactions, and ease of doing business. Actually, the GDP figures are surprising because if you look at the tenure of UPA, the average GDP growth rate during the tenure of UPA was 6.8%, but the average growth rate during the tenure of BJP was 5.7%. Experts believe that the long-term benefits of demonetization are goi

ng to be considerable, but the economy had received some short-term shocks. Similarly, the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 caused a huge economic slowdown not only in India but in the entire world. However, the Indian economy has recovered strongly in the last few months and Prime Minister Modi had announced that the growth rate of the Indian economy in the last quarter was 8.4%. Remember what Raghuram Rajan once said in an interview with Rahul Gandhi about the growth of Indian economy. I thi

nk that we would be lucky if we get 5% next year. What a big 'Moye Moye' moment happened with him today. If we talk about income, real capita income has increased by 43.6% in the last 9 years. The income of casual labourers has increased by 49%. There has been an increase of 19% for salaried workers and 8.5% for self-employed workers. GDP per capita has also increased by 47%. If we look at inflation, RBI recommends that the inflation rate should be between 2%-6%. The average in BJP has been arou

nd 4.7%. If we talk about fiscal deficit, if fiscal deficit is explained in layman terms, then if the government has less money and it spends more money than its income, then the government has fiscal deficit. It is believed that the fiscal deficit should not be more than 3%. Due to Covid in Modi's second term, this fiscal deficit increased to 6.5% of GDP. If we look at FDI, there has been investment of more than 50 billion USD every year in India in the last 3 years. According to Finance Minist

er Nirmala Sitharaman, India's FDI growth has increased by 65% under Modi government as compared to UPA government. Let's talk about digitisation. In 2015, the Government of India launched the Digital India Scheme. Its main objective was to transform India into a digitally empowered economy. According to a report, the volume of total UPI transactions has increased by 200% in 2022 as compared to 2018. Between 21-22 alone, UPI transactions worth more than Rs 16,000 crores have taken place. And due

to this digitization, according to a report, additional income of Rs 6,800 crore has been generated in the Indian economy. If we talk about ease of doing business, then India had announced the Make in India project with great fanfare in 2014 that they wanted to transform India into a manufacturing hub, but unfortunately, India's graph in the manufacturing sector during the Modi Government has reduced from 15% to 13%. According to financial experts, jobs in the manufacturing sector have decrease

d by 46% since 2014. If we talk about the growth of startups, there has been an increase of 64% in the last 3 years. And more than 9 lakh jobs have been generated in this ecosystem. Indian startups have generated Rs 33 billion in 2022 and Rs 35 billion in 2023. So the economic performance in the last few years has not been as robust as I am sure the Modi government would have hoped. An attempt was made to pass farm laws to improve the economic performance but after the protests, the Modi governm

ent withdrew those farm laws due to which the inefficiencies in the farming community still exist. If you look at the unemployment situation, obviously the unemployment situation had become quite bad at the time of the Covid pandemic. Many people in the informal sector became unemployed after the Covid pandemic. Thankfully, the Modi government tried to help those people with direct benefit transfer, due to which the situation did not become as bad as it could have been. But ultimately, the flags

hip schemes of the government like Make in India, Skill India, Startup India have not yet been able to find a long-term solution to unemployment. So even though the economy grew by 8.4% in the last quarter, if we look at it honestly, due to all these problems, the economic performance of the BJP government will get only 5 out of 10 secular salutes. Then let's talk about science and technology field. The Indian Government launched Chandrayaan-3, which successfully landed on the far end of the Moo

n, naming the place Shiv Shakti Point, and again feels good man. Chandrayaan accomplished its mission at a fraction of NASA's budget.
