you got an update from class tag minutes like this for a parent release them in Spurs so the parents are on age they're emotional taxing exasperating I'm with girl it's all right moments they've watched unfold elsewhere before but Monday it's happening to them this time in mosquit Pioneer technology and Arts Academy students escorted from school after one of their peers brought a gun to class oh parents like Yolanda Gibson waited anxiously to hug their necks words kind express it feels good yeah
I feel good when the I pulled up and the police officer said that everything was okay and all the kids were okay but when I actually saw my baby that made it even better but the previous hours traumatizing I was texting my mom I'm like Mom like I'm like I'm actually scared like I'm really scared police descending on campus after after a 16-year-old wouldn't put down a gun he brought to school while inside a campus office oh my God like this is like I'm not dreaming this is real officials saying
administrators kept the teen calm until officers showed up but you're actually living through it is a scary situation frightening situation teacher shamaria NL says messages came over the intercom to take cover you hear bang but didn't know what exactly what it was the student approached by police and injured after three officers opened fire while trying to negotiate a surrender the student gave up following that moment was hospitalized and is in stable condition police saying they're not sure
if he was hit by a bullet or shrapnel the teen's identity and motive unknown at this hour NL says she was his teacher last year what was he like he was a quiet quiet kid that's it by the afternoon school was evacuated with officials sewing together what had happened seconds minutes that were so scary that fueled moments like this and despite what happened here on campus to today tomorrow uh there will be class and there will be class for the rest of the week but officials say there will be couns
elors on hand for students who experienced everything that happened today in mske I'm Matt Howton

Back in my day you could go out to the student parking lot and every truck would have a gun in it. No shootings occurred at my high school during my time there. However, I find it interesting that these kids were released to their parents almost right after the incident but on 9/11 my school in Mississippi basically held us hostage when parents came to pick us up. This is part of the reason I don't like being around crowds of people, they had elementary, middle, & high school all stuffed into the gym.

@SlavaUkrainUSA

mesquite has the best streets in the dfw area. a lot like mississippi highways

50s, 60s ,70s, 80s, we took guns to school all the time. My mother got NRA certified at school. We used to have gun racks in the back windows of pickup trucks, that was the law, the had to be visible. It was common ,very common to see a school parking lot full of guns. Some with the windows down. Never had a problem. Ever . What changed? We all know , diversity, to put it mildly. Americans need thier own nation. Where we can live again .

@vicentegonzales3852

I bet no students will go school tomorrow…. Until they see few cops will show up

@A3Kr0n

Those aren't police, those are military soldiers. Don't let people fool you. This is a police state. Protect yourself and your family.

@shirleyhenry-vf5ox

Where are the parents. How did this student leave with a gun and take it to school like it’s SANDWICH for lunch? Parents need to take charge of their children. They are left running wild. They are getting their hands on guns it is DANGEROUS.

@booster1469

We will not get a description of the person with the gun, but we know why.
