How-To. Configuring the BMW M Instrument Cluster.

Learn in this video that BMW Live Cockpit Professional’s completely digital 12.3” Instrument Cluster allows for your personal configuration. BMW M3 Sedan: Fuel comsumption (combined) in l/100 km: 10,1-10,0 (WLTP) CO2 emissions (combined) in g/km: 230-228 (WLTP) In Basic view, the configuration shows the speed on the left and the rev counter with gear setting on the right. By pressing the “BC” button on the indicator stalk, the rev counter changes to show the different available widgets. One of these widgets is the current configuration of the engine dynamics, damper control, brake and M Servotronic. When changing the M MODE to “SPORT” or “TRACK”, only the essential information is displayed in the M-specific display. Please remember that the M MODE “TRACK” disables driver assistance systems and should only be used on the track. By pressing the “BC” button on the indicator stalk, the same available widgets are available on the right. When going to “CAR”, “M menu”, “Instrument cluster”, you can adjust M Instrument cluster settings per M MODE. The widgets with data about “Engine”, “Tyres” and “Centrifugal forces” can be set on the left as well. When driving on track, we suggest to have the “Tyres” widget permanently on the left, so you can always have the current tyre temperature and pressure in sight. Check out the other videos in the BMW M How-To Series and be sure to leave us your feedback in the comments below. The BMW Driver's Guide app specifically describes the equipment and functions included in the vehicle. The Owner's Handbook is available as an app in many countries.
