The BMW Wi-Fi hotspot grants you internet access on the road without drawing on your mobile data volume. In BMWs with Operating System 7, if you want to connect a mobile device to your optional Wi-Fi hotspot, please go to the Mobile devices menu. Select “Communication”, “Mobile devices” and click on “New device”. Select “Internet, apps” and the Wi-Fi hotspot QR code pops up. For connecting, scan the subsequent QR code with your smartphone. Select the notification and confirm the message. In the
menu you can see that a Wi-Fi connection has been established. When opening the internet browser, you will be directed to the BMW internet partner's website. You can register here for one month free of charge internet usage before choosing your data plan. When choosing “Express registration”, after submitting your ConnectedDrive username and password, your details will be automatically applied, and the registration is complete. Continue watching our How-To Series to get the most out of your BMW.

Love how in a vehicle as expensive as a BMW you need to pay for the hotspot but in a Honda passport it’s unlimited.

I truly believe this is the ugliest car BMW has ever made. All cool looking BMWs were made 1990-2016. Only lovely thing about this BMW is the interior. However, I doubt most people here could afford this BMW lol

@rayleeaustralia

Nice but not useful. I’d expect every mobile phones have data plan these days?

@sesnuev

After 30 minutes online with WEB ID solutions, taking pictures of my ID and me, I realized that I wont use this service because I have unlimit data on my phone... As everyone in EU I guess, It should be for free in UE, otherwise is useless...
