Cloud Gaming Couch

Welcome to the cloud gaming couch. If you are like  me after all day working in front of a computer I just want to relax. I want to play but I want to  do it comfortably I don't want this I want that definitely not this much better this is my actual  gaming space see how there's no PC or console or any cables at all if you want this you need cloud  gaming this is very easy to do and frankly not expensive at all especially compared to any other  Alternatives let's start with Logistics what do I n
eed this is that simple a TV the bigger the  better a couch again the bigger the better a game paddle controller whatever size you prefer  and unless you own a very recent Smart TV with Google TV or Android you will probably need  something like this this is Google's Chromecast with Google TV also you will see me talk in the  future about things like this or this and it will be very relevant but for now you don't want to  mess with it oh and of course you need a decent Wi-Fi connection it can be
Wireless or use an  ethernet connection now the good news is assuming you already own a TV on a couch this will set you  back about £60 or a bit more than $70 for both the GamePad and the chomecast compare that with about  £500 or more than $600 for a PS5 or an Xbox x and of course let's not talk about the price of a  full gaming PC now how to set it up inside your Google TV you're are going to need one or more  of these three apps GeForce now Xbox game pass and if you own a decent PC somewhere
else in your  house you will want one more app called Moonlight let's start with GeForce now this will allow you  to play on streaming many games you already own on Steam epic Ubisoft or yes even Game Pass of  the three plans they offer I recommend a priority plan the free one I will only use to test if it  works well with your connection and in your area as you'll get long cues before playing priority  will be fine for most of the people ultimate it's just for people who have great connection
and want  4K streaming or are obsessed about getting really low lag and the most powerful machines you can go  to their website to check the full list of games that are supported many of the games that epic has  been giv out for free during the last few years are part of that list so chances are you already  own a big collection also they recently started supporting Game Pass so if you own that service  too then you can play a bunch of those games as well once it's all working the experience is
really good sometimes you forget your playing in the cloud one of the big deals here is that the  remote system that actually loads your game is usually quite powerful especially the GPU so you  can play Modern games that will require powerful machines and boost the detail really high and on  your side you still just streaming video into your TV regarding game pass it uses a a very different  approach to GeForce now this one is more like Netflix you pay a flat rate for a long curated  list of g
ames that you don't own but you can play at any time this is a really good way to try  games you're not sure you will buy or just play shorted games back toback without paying for them  since Microsoft is behind it you get some really good day one releases recent examples being starfi  or forcea motorport they have a very interesting combination of brand new games and some older ones  and they try to cater to Old tastes by picking most genres it is also not free by any means  and of all the diff
erent plans you need the most expensive one ultimate to be able to play in the  cloud but they usually have one month trials for you to test it finally let's see what Moonlight  is Moonlight allows you to stream your own PC into your chosen device this means you can play from  your TV anything your PC can your computer doesn't need to be anywhere close to your TV nor connected  by any cables to it it can be placed in your studio on the other side of the house as long long  as there's a decent co
nnection it will be fine your PC will need to have an Nvidia G4 GPU if you  happen to own an AMD card then you're out of lack here there's an alternative called parek but it  isn't free let's see the advantages of moonlight firstly you don't need to pay for any service so  if money is an issue this is a good Free Solution secondly if you want to play something that is  not part of GeForce now or Game Pass you can still do it also you could use this to run Xbox 360 or  PS3 emulator s which requir
e a higher end machine which effectively allows you to play those games  without using those old consoles so that's all for moonlight check my dedicated video explaining  how to set it up in just a few steps well there you go these three options will allow you to  play from your couch without a single machine next to your TV no mesy cable connections very  little hardware and more importantly a relaxed setting
