right guys look good feel good play good has always been a huge motto of mine live by it stand by it I really do think that I've played some good golf in the past because I feel like I have looked good so guys in this video I'm going to give you four super simple tips to help you start feeling better on the golf course looking more stylish and hopefully shooting some lower scores now this video is for all abilities all age groups I don't want to hear that oh no I'm I'm too high a handicapped to
wear that really nice pair of shoes or I'm not good enough to wear those trousers that is absolute rubbish wear what you want wear what's going to make you feel good if someone else feels some type of way about it let them feel that type of way about it but guys let's let's let's crack on and let's uh let's get on with tip number one invest in a good pair of shoes now Sam what do you mean by a good pair of shoes very very simple leave the sporty shoes alone so it's fine to dabble a little bit bu
t you find a sporty pair of shoes comes in they might look cool for a year or so and then they'll start to phase out as sort of styles and Trends change invest in that classic styled pair of golf shoes classic styled golf shoes for me just Elevate that outfit so a premier series from FootJoy a gavanza from G4 something along those lines really just does take things up a notch with the outfit so guys that's tip number one make sure you invest in a nice pair of shoes oh and I for forgot to mention
keep those shoes clean you cannot look stylish out there on the golf course if you're not rocking a clean pair of shoes whatever that's sadly not very environmentally friendly but say you've got a packet of wet wipes in the car give them a wipe down maybe wet a towel after your game of golf and give them a little bit of a wipe over or go as far as bringing them home and giving them a good scrub make sure you turning up to the golf course with a nice clean pair of shoes tip number two make sure
that you're wearing clothes that fit Sam sounds super obvious right sounds like we should all be doing it sounds like just it's the most simple thing ever and in theory yes it is I've seen so many people who should be wearing a medium but wear a large extra large because they feel like you know they they should be wearing that size or someone's told them that they should be wearing that size try some stuff on go into a pro shop go into department store whatever you want to do find some golf stuf
f start trying some bits on and maybe take someone with you ask their advice someone you trust make sure that you're wearing the correct size top and bottoms guys so so many people I see who should be wearing a 32in waist or a 34in waist wear 36 or 38 because they feel like they should have a little bit more room around the waist wear the right size cuz if you're too big on the waist and it starts to Sag a little no one wants saggy pants but if it starts to Sag a little you're adding length agai
n to the bottom of the trouser which then they start to stack up and they look baggy and again not looking that smart so again make sure you're wearing the right size clothes cuz without it that outfit is just going to fall apart okay and tip number three wear a belt so many people and just don't see them wearing a belt a belt is absolutely integral in making sure that you are bringing the outfit together the top and the bottoms are working together that belt just really helps to add that little
bit of class to your outfit so if you can if you can make sure you try and get a belt that sort of matches the trousers if you're going to go with a black pair of trousers a black belt a Navy pair of trousers Navy belt I know it's difficult to go through all of them all of the colors and match them I get that but try and make sure that maybe if you're going to go with a gray belt and you got a navy shirt on maybe try a Navy belt something along those lines so leave the white belts alone the whi
te belts can stay where they are you don't need to worry about a white belt I think nowadays there's there's like a Navy top and a Navy pair of trousers and a white belt that white is doing nothing for that outfit so guys make sure you're wearing a belt cuz I see a lot of you not wearing a belt make sure you're wearing a belt it will add Just a Touch of Class to that outfit and lastly guys tip number four of these super simple tips socks let's talk socks and wearing the right color and the right
type of sock for your outfit so if you're wearing Michael Jackson fans out there if you're wearing a black pair of shoes and a black pair of trousers white socks absolutely not leave the white socks leave them alone we don't need them black socks with black trousers whether you're wearing a black pair of shoes or a white pair of shoes black socks black trousers if you're wearing Navy if you're wearing gray a nice low ankle or trainer style white sock can look very very nice if you got Navy and
you've got a Navy pair of socks again just keeps things looking a little bit classier than if you were to go with the wrong color pair of socks for example leave the colored socks if you got Red Socks don't wear them no one needs to see them if you've got pattern socks stop it get some help forget about it just wearing the wrong pair of socks you see someone out there on the golf course and they go to pick out the ball out of the hole and expose the socks and the socks I'm not accident in the ou

Finally a golfer with more golf shoes than me.
Greetings from Los Angeles, California. I'm in my 70's and started playing golf in my teens. If I had to do it all over again, I would have worn UV protection clothing. Long sleeve shirts not short sleeve. No shorts. Wide brim hats (think Tom Kite) not no hat or those duck bills. As a result of NOT wearing UV sun blocking clothing, I have had numerous skin cancer operations on my head, neck, arms and legs. You can thank me later and hit em straight.

For me, dressing appropriately is fun but its also setting a standard of respect for myself. Respecting myself is respecting the game as well. Playing well or playing poorly it just reminds me to not he throwing hissy fits or acting a fool when you are dressed properly. Doesn't need to be "formal" for golfwear, but it still applies to the shorts and sneakers. Color coordination and just... generally not looking like a slob. It definitely helps the mental when you dress for an occasion. Any occasion in life.
Agree with all your points 👌🏻, although that pic of JT was not his best look in my opinion 😂. Just got 3 pairs of footjoys from Amazon after you posted on instagram saying there was a sale cheers. Inbetween sizes though so went smaller gotta break them in a bit
In summer time, white golf shoes with white golf socks, no? It also depends of the color of your pants, or your bermudas when it's hot.

For some reason I am not buying golfwear such as specific pants or polo shirts. Shoes, specific golf socks, a leather glove (plus rain gloves, and gloves for the winter), rain clothing, warm clothing for the winter is what I need for golf. Sometimes specific golfwear is not really nice.
